A few months later...
Hikari came rushing down the hall with a card. Deidara had just stepped out of his room, he wore his pajama pants, and no shirt. His hair was down, "Hey! Ms. Speedy! Where are you off to this early?" She smiled, giving him the card, "FUCK!" He screamed, "Today's her birthday!" Konan came stomping out and slapped Deidara, "Some boyfriend you are!" He stood stunned, "She never told me!" Konan walked off, "You never asked! God, I hate men!" Deidara turned, "Hikari-chan! I need you to do something for me." Hikari smirked, "What do I get?" He glared at her, "...Ice cream." She smiled, "Make it strawberry and I'll do whatever you want." He smiled, grabbing her skinny child shoulders, "I need you to keep her away from the main room until five. Okay, I'm gonna get a party together." She nodded, "Okay."
Mizuki hadn't seen Deidara all morning...she wanted to kiss him goodmorning, or him to say happy birthday, but he was simply, well...POOF! For some reason Hikari had asked her to show her the water lillies in the lake.
Deidara had gotten the cake baked, thanks to Konan. Had the music ready...thank God for Hidan...Flowers were ready, Itachi, and Kisame for getting the fish and rice ready for the dinner, Kakuzu for the budget keeping, and Deidara himself for planning it all in ten minutes.He smiled watching his work unfold around the room. He didn't just sat there, he jumped up and ran outside everything was ready, Hikari ran infront of him, "She's coming, I can't do anything else!" He grinned, patting her head, "You did great, kid." She pushed his hand away laughing and ran in the room. He met Mizuki at the door, "Hey, Babe!" She smiled. She cocked her head, "Do you know what today is?" He raised a brow, "Uhh...Tuesday?" She frowned, "No..." He shrugged, "It's just another day why should I care?!" She took on a mad expression, "Deidara I nev-" He grabbed her wrist, "Come here." He walked her into the dark room, "He lent close to here and whispered in her ear, "Happy birthday, You really believed me..." He chuckled at the last, "I would never..." The lights came on, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIZUKI!!!!!!!!!!!" Was screamed. Deidara wrapped a hand round her neck she looked up at him, "I can't believe you." He lifted her up, "What.." He smiled and kissed her deeply, cupping her cheek, Itachi covered Hikari's eyes as she chuckled.. Mizuki's eyes sparkled when he broke it, "That's part one of my birthday present to you." He whispered, she blushed bright red, "OHHHHH!!!" Came from an already drunk Hidan. Someone threw a plastic cup filled with soda and he threw a cussing fit.
Deidara jumped up on stage after a little while, Pein had sent Little Hikari to bed a while ago, so the drinking could comence, which Itachi and Kisame welcomed. Deidara took the mike, "Mizuki come up here!" She did so, "What the hell are you doing!" She whispered, "You'll see..." He smiled at the filled room, "I have a duet prepared for tonight!" Mizuki shrunk, "I swear to God...Deidara I'll kill you, slit your throat and pull out teeth one by one..." He smiled at her, "Grab a mike." She did so, and the music started. The singing was great, two great singers put together was a great thing. Mizuki seemed truly happy, as she stood on the stage starring into his eyes, "The worst is over now, and we can breathe again...I wan to hold you high and steel your pain!"
The party was over, Mizuki sat alone. Deidara walked up to her. She smiled standing, "I want to say thank you..." She said pulling him down the hall, he was confused, "Wha- Oh..." He smirked. Mizuki opened his door, they kissed, and the door was shut...
