It's been almost a month and everything is almost back to normal. Well almost everything. It was different with out Sasuke around. Naruto was still determend to get him back, that stubborn muel, and Sakura is still trying to get over it. Though some of us don't really care and are glad that Sasuke's gone, like Shibano. She's been happy ever since we got back from that stupid mission. I sighed as I walked with Shibano to the Hokage's office, aka Tsunade. We walked in and saw our former sensei, Abarai Renji. We looked at him ceriously then noticed the two other sensei's in the room. Hatake Kakashi, Sensei of Team Seven. Then comes Maito Gai, sensei of Neji's Team. I was wondering why they're here, and by Shibano's faceul expresion so was she.
"what! why are you guys here!?!" she yelled.
"they are here because you two need a team to be on and the only open team is Kakashi's." Tsunade stated. We stared at her strangly. What did she mean by that? That means only one of us will be able to be on a team? "So I'm Assinging Shibano onto Kakashi's team. And Lina will be on Gai's team untill the chunnin exams come up again." That explains why Gai's here.
"but Tsunade....where will I go when then Chunnin Exams come again?" I asked.
"Teams Asuma. Since Shikamaru was the only one that passed the exam...his team would need a replace ment." Tsunade explained.
"okay..but why is Renji-sensei here?" Shibano asked.
"I'm here to say good bye..." he stated as he walked over to us. "now you be good Shibano don't do things I wouldn't do."
"like what have sex..I wont do that!" Shibano stated laughing. I joined with her. We high fived and stated "BURN!"
"and plus that's Lina you should be saying that to!" I stopped laughing and glared at her. "burn" Shibano stated again while laughing. This time Renji was in it with her. I just growled and walked over to Gai.
"But why do I need to be on team Gai any way?" I asked.
"I'm glad you asked that Lina." Tsunade started. "Since you lack Taijutsu...you'll need to placed on a team that's rather good at it. And the only team I could think of is Team Gai." She explained. I just looked at her blankly. I sighed and bowed my head in shame. While Shibano gets to laugh and have fun with Naruto all Day I'm going to be stuck with the ethusiastic Rock lee, the calm yet happy Tenten and the cold, heartless, yet love of my life Neji.
"Well see ya later Lina have fun!!" Shibano joked as her and Kakashi walked out of the room.
"Ah I'm so glad I can have the youth Lina Hawatye. Maybe you can teach a thing of two about Genjutsu to the team!" Gai stated overly excitedly as he drapped a arm over my sholder and dragged me out of the hokages office. I sighed hopelessly.
why do I have to be put up with them! of all people! I mean sure they're my friends but honestly! they're mental when they're around eachother. Okay maybe only Gai-sensei and Rocklee are but Still! I don't want to witness the 'happy moments' they share! I witnessed one of them and It looked like Gai-sensei was mulesting Rocklee!!! I groaned as we walked to the training grounds.
"Gai-Sensei why are you late!" Rocklee turned around and gasped."LINA! what are you doing here?" He asked me. I just looked at him like don't you even ask!
"I am Sorry Rock Lee that I am Late but it is for a good cause! since the accedent durring the chunnin exams Tsunade has assigned Shibano and Lina to differen't teams that need a team mate. So We have the gift of Having Lina on our team! now! let's all take a few minutes to get to each other shall we!" no. I thought boredly. Gai sensei slightly nudged me forward to push me to sit with the others. I just grumbled and Sat between Rocklee and Neji. "Okay who wants to go first!" Lee raised his hand saying 'oh oh me me I would love to go first gai sensei!' "Go On Lee make me proud" gai sensei stated to Lee with that annoying smile and the 'nice guy pose'.
"I am Rock Lee. I love to train, and many things mostly train and hang around with Naruto! and trying to capture Sakura's heart! and my dream is to be the best at Taijutsu!" I just slapped my forehead and groaned boredly. Every one looked at me.
"Lina it is rude to act like that!" Gai sensei stated angerly. Lee just looked at me confused. "why! act like that!?"
"because this is pointless!" I stated as I stood up. " I mean c'mon! the four of us know eachother for Sasuke's sake...wait...no. never mind that! We know eachothers likes and dislikes hobbies and our dreams. well except for neji cause he's mute! but honestly this is a waste of time!" I yelled as I grabbed my kisho(I set it down before I sat down) and started to leave.
"LIna! wait!" Gai sensei called I stopped and turned around to look at them. "Maybe you are right. but I wanted us to act like a team! but since you don't want to act like that at the moment why don't we start training! Since Lina is new we're taking it easy today! 2 laps around konoha then come back and I'll give you your equiptment to finish out training." Gai explained. 2 laps that aint bad I thought. I through kisho off of me and started to run with the others. 10 mins later. I have half a lap left and i'm already tired! the others have already finished and I'm at the ramen bar. I spotted Shibano, Sakura, and Naruto there with Kakashi. I stop for a moment to catch my breath.
"Hey lina! you done with trainig?" Shibano asked me excidedtly. I just shook my head.
"No I have to finish half a lap then we start our traning...gosh! well any way I'll see you guys later!" I stated as I started to run again. 10 mins later I finally reached the training grounds. I fell on the floor breathing to death.
"So your back Lina its about time! okay carring on with our training! like I said were taking it easy today! once you guys put your waits on you'll run 50 laps, 100 target practices, 20 push ups and sit ups, 30 jumping jacks, 50 punches and kickes on a tree and then 50 more laps around konoha then your free to go." I just looked at him like he was crazy.
"Gah! you call that taking it easy! thats a months wroth of excersise for me" I yelled. Gai just smiled. I sighed and started to walk over to the waits. They all looked really havy. I sighed.
"Here. I think you should wear this" tenten stated as she held up a fish net shirt. I looked at her weirdly. "There waits you wear them. Since you have no way of wearing anything else I though you should use these. there the litest we have so I hope there not to havey for you." Tenten smiled. I smiled back and took the waits from her.
gah! dang this is light! it waighs as much as shibano and that's like 160 lbs.! T_T i'm going to get killed by these people. I came out holding on to as much as I could and gasping for breath.
"LIna are you okay?" Lee asked me. I just nodded. He walked over to me with Kisho. "Oh yeah you'll be needing this it's to increase your strangth and endurence." He stated as he strapped the giant boomerange to my back.
"gah!" I yelped as I fell to the ground. The three ninja and lee looked at me strangly.
"are you okay?" I just nodded and waved my hand at them. I Pulled my face out from the dirt. I spat out a few grazes of grass and a patches of soit out of my mouth. yep deffently these people are going to kill me.i
two hours later.
I'm on my knees crawing on the ground gasping for air. The others lapped me. Neji stopped for a moment and looked at me.
"are you sure your doing okay? you don't look okay to me" he stated. I just nodded. "Here let me help you up." He stated as he grabbed my arm and helped me up.
"thank you." I thanked him. He started to step away and just as he did I fell back to the ground. I herd people laugh at me as I hit the hard dirt ground. I just groanded. I herd Neji sigh as he croathced down beside me.
"what lap are you on any way?" I held up 4 fingers and then 2 fingers. "42nd lap?" I shook my head. "8th lap?" I shook my head again. "6th lap?" I shook my head again. "I don't k now then."
"fourth and half lap" I spat out as I lifeted my head. I herd more laughter around us. "Go neji your behind as it is I'll catch up....................eventually" I mumbled the last part to my self.
Neji sighed as stood up straight. He looked back down on me and started to run agian.
5 hours later.
It's not dark out side and I've finally finished my laps. How I loved the wind and my kisho. I was now doing my punches and kickes. 45,46,47,48,49,50! great now i'm done! now I just have to run 50 more laps...gah theyre going to kill me!! no they're not gai is! I sighed as I started to run agian.
3 hours later.
I was on my 15th lap. I had 35 more.
"Grr! it's already 9:30p.m! I've missed dinner. oh well." I ran and ran for atleast another hour. I was now on my 25th lap and I couldn't take it any more I fell to the ground and closed my eyes.
~.Nejis P.O.V~
Neji walked out of the training area(he's at the Hyuuga Compound) when he herd something havey fall. He walked over to the sound of the noise and just stood there stairing down on it. kick her! just to make sure she's still alive He thought. But he went against it. He took the boomerange off of her back and dragged it to the wall since it was heavey. dang! how can she run with this thing! no wonder she was dying! neji thought to him self. He walked back to Lina and picked her up and silently walked inside and set her down on the ground. He grabbed a large robe and pillow. He lifted her head and placed the pillow underneath it and set her head back down. He then lifted her again to take off her shirt.(no he's not a perv at least not yet.) Lina's pure white tank top under shirt was the only thing that showed other then the short sleave fish net waits underneath. He sighed. He knew that She wouldn't be able to sleep with all that wait. He left the room once again and checked to see if hinata was still awake. and to his good luck that evening she was.
"Hinata, I need to ask a favor of you please its just a small one." He stated. Hinata looked over at him shyly and nodded. He led her to his room and pointed to a sleeping lina. "the fishnet she is wearing under neath the shirt are waits and I can't take them off. So I was wondering if you could please" He asked quietly. She nodded and Neji left the room 5 mins later hinata came back out telling him it was safe. The two cousins wished eachother good night and Neji placed the Robe on top of her to cover her up. Since she pas almost praticly in her under close ( not under wear but you know a shirt and bed time shorts. I guess lina just puts on her cloths over top of her pijamas. Neji thought as he got into bed him self.
