A sound ninja came up behind a purple haired boy. A dark haird girl and a pink haird girl looked at him.
"KISHO LOOK OUT!" they yelled. He turned around a little too late. The sound ninja's kunai was stabbed into Kisho. right by the heart.
"KISHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Shibano and Lina yelled as they ran by Kisho. Lina looked at the ninja and jumped up in the air and through her boomerang.
after all the fighting Shibano and Lina looked at their dead comrade, team mate, and most importantly their friend. Their Sensei..Renji Abarai. He had red hair put in a pony tail and weird eyebrows but nothing like Lee and his senseis. but Renji's was cool.
"what happened?" Renji-Sensei asked as he looked down at Kisho. Lina wasn't emtionaly strong for this so Shibano explaind the whole story.
"and then we tried to worn him but he looked back a little two late. and the ninja stabbed him." Shibano finished. Their Sensei looked at Shibano and Lina. Shibano was with Kisho seeing if he could be okay. Renji just went to Lina.
"hey Lina...are you alright?"
"am I alright! how can I be alright! one of my best friends died right before my eyes...of course I'm Not alright." She stated as she sat down by Kisho. Renji Picked up Kisho and headed towards the hospital. Shibano and Lina fallowed after him.
A little while later Lina came out of the room in tears. and all Shibano could do was try to comfort her friend. though she had a few tears to. They saw all the others in the waiting room.
"huh? what are you guys doing here?" Shiano asked. Every one turned to them and saw something that they wouldnever see. Shibano and LIna with out Kisho by their side and Lina crying her eyes out. Ino gasped and went to hug her cousin.
"what happened?" Hinata asked. Shibano looked at them then back at Lina.
"it's Kisho..." She started.
"is going to be alright?" Rock Lee asked. She just shook her head no..She could feel almost all eyes on her.
"Kisho...He..." She was cut off by a voice that hasn't spoken.
"he..He died by a sound Ninja..." Lina spoke up as she looked at every one.
"...that can't be right! Kisho couldn't die!" Kiba Yelled. though they were rivals they were still friends.
"yeah Kiba's right...he..he couldn't be dead" Sakura stated.
" mayb..." Tenten was cut off.
"SHUT UP!!!" Lina shouted. "He's gone okay! He's Dead! and theres nothign you guys or nay one else cna do aout it GOT THAT!" Lina yelled as she Ran out of the hospital..
"wow...she must really be really upset....." Ino stated sadly.
"No you think INo!" Shibano Yelled.
"Look I'm only stating.."
"the obivouse Iknow! but that's not going to help our problame. Kisho's dead and hearing htat didn't make Lina feel any better....espcally today...you guys have no idea what she's going throuhg...you guys have no Idea waht I'mg gong through..." Shibano stated angerly.
"what do you mean?"
"today...was our annerversy...the day the three of us meet...the day Kisho helped Lina from bulllies...and I helped Kisho. from being beat to a pulp. the day our friend ship began!.." Shibano explaind.
"it's also the day Lina lost her parents" Ino stated.
"yes and Kishos..." Renji stated as he walked into the croud with the other jounin.
"you mean Kisho and Lina lost their parents the same day?" Choji asked. for once he wasn't eating.
"yes...then Kisho came to live with me while Lina went to live with the Yamanakas..her mothers family." Renji expalind.
"okay enough of this talk....we have to let you guys know...that.."Gai started.
"that the Hokage is dead." Kakashi stated simply. gasps were heard amongst the gennin.
"that's right....he's gone." Asuma stated sadly.
Later on at the Hokages funural.
Ino and Lina walked to Shibanos house to see her and Iruka leaving.
after a bout a 10 min walk in silence they finally reached where the funural was being held.
Linas P.O.V
I stood inbetween Neji and Ino while Shibano was in between Ino and Shino.
I went up and layed down a white rose thinking how it was Him that told me about the Yamanakas. If it werent for him I'll be living onthe streets.
I went to stand by Neji once again. It started to rain heaviyer. and i couldn't hold it in anylonger. I burst out into tears. Neji looked at me and put his hand on my sholder. I just hugged him, and cried on his sholder. surprisingly he didnt' push me away.
Shibanos P.O.V
I saw Lina crying again. and on Neji's sholder....I know why Neji hasn't pushed her away. it's becasuse one...he likes her...and two..he knows she needs comfort. I just looked at Shino and sighed. I saw Naruto coming to me.
"hey shibano..wheres Kisho??" Naruot asked me.
I just looked down.
"he's gone Naruto..he died..."
"so that's why Neji's being so nice to Lina..." he stated quietly. all I did was nodd. once the seromony was over we all walked down the street back to our homes. Hiashi invited Lina to have lunch with them and Inoichi, her uncle said it was okay. I just went with Naruto and his team to eat ramen. the sun was shining brightly. the others were just looking at me.
Linas P.O.V
Hinata, Neji and I were sitting down out side I looked up at the sky and noticed the sun was shingng I smiled.
and Hinata and Neji just looked at me.
Shibano/Lina P.O.V
"what?"
"what's with the smile?"
"well it was rianing becuase it was crying now it's shining...because it's smiling."
