Deeply Unconscious
Chapter 5 : Deeply Unconscious {Chapter 3}
Chapter 3
As I followed her down the corridor to Aylin’s room. I stumbled and tried my best not to run into anything. Only me being me that seemed almost impossible. I looked up taking in all the marble. I didn’t know there was this much marble in the world, but then again I don’t know a lot of things. Once we approached Aylin’s room Elena knocked on the door. We waited patiently for about five minutes until Aylin finally opened the door. “Hey, what’s up?” She asked us once she realized who we were. “Hey your up!”
She added looking over toward me. She then smiled mischievously, and leaned toward Elena and whispered something. Elena laughed and smiled at me. I smiled back unsure of what to do.
“Hey Aylin. Want to go shopping with us?” Elena finally asked Aylin after awhile. Aylins’ eyes shinned with enthusiasm.
“Defiantly!” She said and then disappeared into her room to get ready. Elena looked at me and giggled. I decided to look the other way. I didn’t like people starring at me much. I was very self-conscious, and Elena and Aylin weren’t really helping. I looked at the walls and tried to find different patterns instead. “Ok I’m ready guys!” Aylin said excited jumping up and down. Elena smiled and motioned for us to get ready to go.
We had been at the store awhile just hanging out and walking around. Don’t get me wrong we did a little shopping just not to much. Aylin and Elena decided they wanted to get to know me before anything. So we decided to play Twenty Questions until we came across another store.
“So did you have any brothers or sisters?” Elena asked me curiously.
“Yes, I did. A sister named Caitlyn” I said sadly remembering her. The question made me think about what my family would be doing right now. I was pretty sure no one would notice I was gone except for Caitlyn. I sighed sadly thinking about my life. It was weird how it could change so drastically. I then looked over at Aylin and Elena. They were staring at me with a weird expression crossing over both their faces. “What?” I asked suddenly beginning to feel self conscious. They continued to stare at me blankly before moving on to the next question.
“So what about your parents? Do you think they will miss you?” Another question I didn’t feel like answering. I decided to answer it anyway.
“I don’t think so. They might do a search to try and get some more money, but that would be all.” I said thinking of the answer as I said it. They looked at me in disbelief. I just continued to walk forward not wanting to continue to talk about my parents. They seemed to feel the tension, and they quickly changed the subject.
“So what do you like to do. Like your hobbies?” Aylin asked me smiling. I smiled as well knowing that I would have fun with this.
“Well I enjoyed playing softball. I played centerfield. I also played a few other sports like volleyball. I wrote poetry and some stories. I also enjoyed gymnastics, dancing, and also enjoyed to sing. I played a few instruments as well.” I finished up the small summary of what I enjoyed doing when there was so much I could have said. They smiled at me as we walking into another store. “So we looking for clothes first, or just whatever we see and you need type of thing?” Aylin asked. She apparently shopped a lot.
“I guess whatever she needs. I mean wouldn’t that go a lot quicker?” Elena said for me since I hesitated. Aylin nodded and went to the closest rack of clothes that she saw. She started to pull clothes of their hooks and giving them to me. Elena looked at me sadly then went to her own rack of clothes and started picking some as well. I sighed and went ahead to find a dressing room to try on the clothes Aylin had already thrown at me. It didn’t take long considering the dressing rooms had a sign over them saying dressing rooms in large bold print. I found a empty stall and went ahead and started to try on the clothes. A lot were knee cut dresses, but she picked some jeans as well. I picked out a few then brought the rest back for her to put back up. This continued for a while. Elena found some pretty cute stuff, and so did Aylin. I had three packed bags by the time we left the store. We then resumed the game. “So do you think anyone that we live with is hot?” Elena asked smirking at me.
I thought for a little bit then replied, “That’s kind of hard to say when they are all hot.” Aylin and Elena laughed at that, but shook their heads in agreement anyway. “So who do you think is the hottest?” I asked Elena back. She blushed furiously and Aylin smiled at me knowing this would be good.
“Well I don’t really know. I guess I never thought about it.” I looked at Aylin disappointed and she returned the look. Elena smiled obviously proud of her answer.
“How about we play Would You Rather instead of Twenty Questions?” Aylin suggested obviously tired of Twenty Questions. Elena and I agreed both of us tired of answering and asking questions. “Ok. Well I’ll start. Elena who would you want to go out with Danny or Elliot?”
Elena blushed again and silently answered, “Elliot.” Aylin looked at me and giggled. Elena shook her head and continued walking forward. “Ok since you just asked me it’s my turn to ask. Aylin who would you rather make out with Phoenix or Zavier?” It was Aylin’s turn to blush and she thought about it for a bit.
“Hm Phoenix is wild and fun, but Zavier is compassionate and loving. That’s to hard of a question.” She pouted. Elena laughed then just shrugged not really caring if she answered it or not. “So Kayleigh who would you rather go out with Gabriel or Phoenix?” I thought about it then answered.
“I have to say Gabriel.” They looked at me surprised then we all continues to walk into another store.
“Why Gabriel?” Aylin asked me curiously.
“I don’t know he just seems so…” I replied stopping short. I had no idea why. “Why does it matter?” I asked instead of trying to figure out why. They both shrugged and handed me some clothes to try on. I sighed walking to the dressing rooms to begin trying on the clothes.
Danny’s POV.
I was bored. I flipped through the channels on TV and tried to find something, but I could find nothing! I don’t see why humans watch it if its all completely boring, and only makes them stupider. I sighed and got up from my place on the couch. I walked to Elliot’s room having a feeling he would have something in mind to do.
“Elliot?” I asked knocking on his door.
“Just a minute.” I heard him reply even though his voice was muffled through the door. Once he opened the door I realized he had been fixing his hair. I laughed and then walked into the room.
“Have any plans for today?” I asked him.
Elliot pretended to think about it and then replied, “Well I’ll have to double check my schedule, but I’m pretty sure I’m free.” I laughed and then he pretended to open a book and flip through the pages to check his schedule.
I rolled my eyes and asked again, “So are you busy Mr. Schedule?” He smiled and shook his head no. “So what you want to do?” I asked him.
“Lets see. We can always wait for the girls to get home then we can go swimming. I mean Kayleigh hasn’t been able to leave until today.” I nodded and agreed with him.
“That was only to go and buy her stuff to.”
“So it’s a plan?” Elliot asked me.
“Sure why not?” I replied and then added, “How about we pack a lunch to?”
“Yeah. Then it could be like a picnic to!” Elliot said excited. He passed me up and ran down the stairs to the kitchen. I laughed and followed him down just as fast. I let my kid side take over. I found Elliot in the kitchen with the picnic basket and some sandwiches as well.
“Fast much?” I asked him. He looked up at me and smiled nodding yes. “Ok well I’ll go get the other guys in here so we can all plan it out. Elliot nodded and I headed off the other way to find the other guys. I soon found Phoenix and Zavier hanging out in the living room. “Hey guys. I need you in the kitchen.” I said. They looked up and nodded walking into the kitchen. I sighed knowing that now I would have to find Gabriel. He was probably in his room.
“Gabriel?” I asked as I knocked on his door. I heard the music shut off, and then he opened the door.
“Yeah?” He asked suspiciously. I rolled my eyes and told him what me and Elliot wanted to do. He nodded and said he would be down in a minute. I shrugged and went back to the kitchen. Once I got there I noticed the other guys were already helping Elliot make lunch. I laughed at the scene causing each of them to look at me.
“What?” Phoenix asked either worried or annoyed. Maybe just irritated. Wait isn’t that the same as annoyed? I shook my head as if saying nothing and set to work helping them as well.
