Chapter 1- Off with her Head! The serious man. That’s what I decided to call him since he looked so serious. The serious man opened the door for me to let me in the vehicle. I climbed in as gracefully as I could, and prayed that I wouldn’t make a fool out of myself once I got there. Which to me seemed almost impossible. I watched the scenery as we passed by buildings and fields. I looked at the cars beside us, and looked at animals that seemed to pop out from nowhere. Soon we came to a narrow road with trees on the side. A beautiful appearance, so it didn’t take long for this to catch my eye. As we neared it I noticed it was a mansion. It was as equally breath taking as anything. Only it didn’t take my breath away like Madden did. I felt a stray tear as I thought about him. Only I quickly scolded myself. I had been over this already. I would waste no more tears on it. No matter how much it killed me. We circled into the driveway, and I noticed I had been holding my breath. The serious man then parked the car carefully. Soon he was holding the door out for me. I carefully stepped out the car, and went around to get my bags. I didn’t have many so I didn’t bother letting the serious man even try to carry them for me. Although he did get the chance to open the door. I rolled my eyes and walked into a magnificent hallway. I gawked at how beautiful it was. Soon a man who seemed to be in his early forties appeared. “What have we here? Is this the beautiful Ralen Rain?” He said his accent thickly coating his words. I almost laughed but decided against it. Instead I nodded shyly. He grinned and then turned around and called someone by the name of Rein. A tall, lanky guy came into the room. He was a total punk I could tell by his appearance. The man you finally assumed to be Mr. Hale turned back to face you. “Ralen, this is my son Rein.” He said pausing. I looked over at Rein, and he acted like he was going to shoot himself. I stifled my laugh. Rein smiled at me for a moment then looked to see why his dad paused. He seemed to have drifted off in thought. Rein looked at me for a second before yelling another name. Christian. Christian must have been the nineteen year old where Rein was the twenty year old. I suddenly felt very young. Soon another boy came into the room. He looked more eighteen than nineteen. He looked at me and then both the boys looked at Mr. Hale curiously. I looked at him to wondering what to do. After a minute or two I decided to go ahead and set my bags on the floor. Finally Mr. Hale snapped out of his daze to find all of our curious glances. “Ok!” He clapped and motioned for someone to get your bags. Then he motioned for me and the boys to follow him into another room. I stopped and starred at that room for a moment. It looked like this. Ihad never seen a room so beautiful. I steadied yourself, and continued to follow Rein, Christian, and Mr. Hale to a couch. Mr. Hale motioned for you to make yourself comfortable. “Ok so. To get down to the decision. I’ll let the boys decide. I have some work to do so enjoy yourselves.” After saying that Mr. Hale got up quickly and left me alone with Rein and Christian. They looked at me curiously and then at each other. “So what do we have to do again?” Rein asked the other boy Christian. Christian sighed and shook his hear tiredly. “Do you want her or do you want me to have her? It’s your decision.” I looked at both of them, and they looked at me in return. “So?” Christian asked Rein. Rein just shrugged and replied, “I have a girlfriend, and I don’t really need a personal slave. Saying as I already have a maid.” He looked at Christian and smirked evily. “Off with her head!” He yelled suddenly causing me to jump. I then looked at him like he was insane. He was laughing hysterically while Christian and I just watched him. “I don’t think they allow that these days Rein.” Christian said tired. Rein stopped laughing and looked at me for a moment. “You can have her bro. I’m good with my girl.” Rein said and then left the room. I looked over at Christian who was starring at me. I started to feel really self conscious, and looked anywhere but at him. “Alright then I’ll show you to your room.” He said standing up. He walked over to me and held out a hand. I looked at it curiously and dumbfounded. Rolling his eyes he said, “I’m trying to help you up.” I nodded and placed my hand in his. He then helped me up gently. He walked in front of me the entire time. We climbed staircases, and went down narrow hallways that twisted and turned. “So did you have a boyfriend?” He asked out of nowhere. I looked at him for awhile before realizing he was talking to me. “Yes.” I replied quietly still kind of shyly. He looked back at me, and I realized it was the first time I had talked since he had met you. Which wasn’t that long. “Your not from here are you? I can tell by your accent.” He said suddenly. I nodded confirming the thought. “You know my little sister has been dieing to meet you.” I looked at him curiously not knowing anything about his family. “Do you want to meet her first. We aren’t that far away from her room.” He said obviously he wanted me to meet her. So I went ahead and said yeah. He smiled back at me and replied, “You’ll love her.” I returned the smile shyly, and continued walking with him. He stopped when ya’ll reached a pure white door. He then knocked the times pausing for about five seconds in-between each one. Before I knew it the door opened, and a girl squealed. “Christian! Is she here yet? Dad said she was coming today!” I saw a girl about the age of twelve hugging Christian within her embrace. He looked at me embarrassed and I just smiled back sweetly. She seemed like a good kid. She finally looked around and saw me. “Is this her?” The girl asked Christian. Christian nodded before introducing you both to each other. “Gisela this is Ralen. Ralen this is Gisela.” He said pointing to each of you. I smiled at her and she looked at me for awhile. “Ok I like her.” Gisela said and turned back to go to her room. She stopped short after a few steps and turned back around. “Rein didn’t want her?” She asked Christian innocently. Christian shook his head no, and she replied, “That’s a shame. She’s really pretty.” I blushed when she said that. Only she wasn’t finished yet. “I guess I’m happier that you got her. I mean maybe she could give you some romance lessons. Since I seemed to fail.” Christian blushed with me when she added that part. She smiled and went the rest of the way into her room and closed the door. “Sorry about that Ralen.” Christian said embarrassed. I looked at the floor and we then continued to walk. “So how old are you?” Christian asked you suddenly. “Sixteen.” I replied still not wanting to make a conversation. He looked back at you and stopped walking. “Sixteen?” He asked to make sure he heard me right. I nodded my head yes, and waited for him to continue walking. He didn’t. “I thought you were older.” He said quietly. He then started to head down the hall. I didn’t see what the big deal was. I mean he was only nineteen right? That’s only three years older. Madden was two years older. Not much or a difference right? He stopped after a couple of minutes at a door. “This is your room.” He said opening the door so you could see it. It looked like this. You gasped. It was a beautiful room. My bags were on the bed which was neatly made. I looked at Christian to see if he was lying or not. He wasn’t. “Those two doors lead to your bathroom and closet.” He added pointing to two mirrored doors. “Wow. Thank you.” I said walking into the room. Christian smiled and then opened the door that led to the closet. The closet was already filled with clothes. A lot of clothes might I say. He led you to the back of the closet to where there were shoes and purses, and even more clothes. He stopped in front of some shoes and waited for you to reach him. “Do you like it?” He asked as you looked around still amazed. You nodded your head saying yes, and he smiled.“Good because Gisela killed me when we went shopping.” He said and looked around the closet to see if he missed anything. “You picked all this out?” I asked Christian in disbelief. He nodded smiling. “Good taste.” You added as you looked at the clothes. His smiled grew wider. “Well remember I had help from my little sister.” I smiled and replied, “Remember to remind me to thank her.” He nodded and the led the way back out of the closet. He grabbed my hand, and made sure I was following him. “Where are we going?” I asked him curiously. “I have to show you where my room is for emergencies.” I nodded in understanding. His door was black and when you opened it I wasn’t really surprised. This is what his room looked like. “How am I not surprised?” I asked him. He just shrugged and walked I into the room. I stayed mute as I looked around the room. “Nice room.” I said finally. Only I was thinking mine was prettier. Hehehe. “Thanks.” He said shrugging. “Alright you want me to bring you back to your room so you can unpack?” I nodded and he brought me back to my room offering to help me unpack. I said no and went to unpack my things once he left. I looked at the things I brought with me. It wasn’t much. Just some necessaries, and some other things like pictures. I had this picture of the whole group of us. I guess I had been looking at it for a long time, and I must have started to day dream because the next thing I knew Christian was talking to me. “Who are they?” He asked curiously. I sighed replying. Pointing to each of them as I said their names. “This is my brother Ralph, and my other twin brother Riley.” He looked at me surprised. “Twin?” I nodded and continued, “This is Madden, my x-boyfriend and my brothers best friend. Raychel, my best friend ever.” I said almost breaking into tears until I remembered my promise to myself. No more crying over it. “Isadora, my x-boyfriends sister. Bethia, Isadora’s best friend. Tra’ my twins’ best friend and Bethia’s boyfriend.” I finished tears threatening to pour. This promise was going to be hard to keep. Christian nodded and frowned. “You know I don’t see why my dad kept that deal this whole time. I knew it would only lead to hurt and even more pain.” I looked at him curiously. Wondering why he just told me that. Well I guess it wasn’t that hard to figure out. “Maybe they can come up sometime?” Christian said suddenly. “I mean I can always see if my dad will let.” I smiled a bit and said, “Thanks.” I couldn’t help but notice he kept starring at Madden weirdly. “Well I hope you get settled in.” He said again and then left. I sat on my bed thinking. For the first time though about my future, and if they still actually cut peoples’ heads off.
I had just arrived at the airport in Bavaria, Germany. I looked for my name of the cards that the drivers held up. I soon found it. I headed toward the man who wore dark shades and a suit. “You Ralen Rain?” He asked me looking me up and down. I nodded showing him my I.D. He nodded and motioned for me to follow him. I did as I was told resisting the urge to jump back on the plan and go home. I already missed them all. I soon fought back the urge to cry. I had cried enough on the plane. I wasn’t going to waste anymore tears. For I made my wish already.
