In Love With Konoha's Biggest Perv

Jiraiya Love Story

Chapter 6 -final-

Walking around town, I see all the beautiful stores that I had once stepped into with Jiraiya on our date. That day was filled with compliments and smiles. I look up into the bright sky, remembering the bright yellow moon that had once shone beautifully in this same sky. I'll always treasure those moments. Trying to sit down on a nearby bench, I was pulled right back up by that black-haired girl I call my best friend. Yuki had decided to come along for company as I took the walk Jiraiya usually used to stride down after he waved at me in the mornings. I hope he gets better soon.Yuki decided to keep walking as I sat down on the bench and watched the sky pass me by. It was Yuki's idea to take me sight shopping [she's cheap] so I could clear my mind from Jiraiya. I think it was because I hadn't slept very well that night. In fact, I don't think I slept at all. *Hospital nurses and doctors in full white uniforms were pushing they're way in and out of the room. I hate hospitals. That's why I became a medic nin. So I could avoid other people and myself from going to this horrid place. But...something's are just out of my reach. Some of the women had worried looked on they're faces. Men could hide they're emotions very well but women always gave it away. That's what scared me the most.Is he going to be okay? How is he? Is he awake yet?

For a few hours, I was being forced out of Jiraiya's room. I had to threaten a few doctors before they realized the urgency in my voice. I even went as far as summoning a mini red shuriken. Dont worry I didn't use it. Just to get them to catch my attention. I walked through the white walled room to my love's bed. He lay there sleeping. Peachugh Peachbed sheets covered more than half of his body. The red lines on his face were gone but his face was contorted with pain. His body slightly twitching every once and a while. Doctors came in and finally told me that an unusual poison was injected into his body and that they'll try they're best to get it out. That's Doctor talk for: We have no cure for him.Just like I predicted: nothing was working and I didn't have the skill to heal him. After another hour of just watching his hurt sleeping face, he woke up with a scream. He was in agony and the village had decided to call it's best doctor- Tsunade. Jiraiya looked at me and slowly said my name. I held his hand- tight. That damn Orochimaru. Always ruining everything...I wonder what he want's with me though.Tsunade came in looking like she ran or was either forced to come here. She had her usual self-centered look and gazed at the helpless Jiraiya.

"Typical Jiraiya to get himself hurt like this." She scoffed as she was pushing everyone else out of the room. I glared angrily at her.

"If you say one more insult towards him. I'll make you regret it." My tone was angry and clam. And I wasn't lying. Right then, I was willing to hurt/kill anything and anyone to save my Jiraiya. After all, we are getting married. Jiraiya just has to pull through this. By now, Jiraiya had fallen back to sleep from the pain.

"Hey Tsunade, why do you think Orochimaru wantedme?" I asked with curiosity.

"Orochimaru's always looking for a new apprentice. Someone he can control and eventually use for his own benefit." So that's why Kabuto was there. But he looked like he was fighting me willingly. That's alot of loyalty to someone who's using you. I nodded and then I slumped myself against the wall with my arms wrapped around my legs. I cried the first time that whole night. What-What if he doesn't make it? Oh please Jiraiya. I need you here- here with me. Don't leave me. A hand appeared in front of my face with a tissue. I looked up to see Tsunade with a slight smile on her face.

"Don't cry. Jiraiya wouldn't want to see a teary eyed Hikari when he gets better, now would he?" I looked at her. Faith. I need to build some for the sake of Jiraiya. I wiped my eyes and nodded. Standing to my feet, I stood by Jiraiya's side while Tsunade prepared herself for the treatment.

"Need me for anything, Tsunade?" she smiled at me holding a large bowl of water.

"Are you a medic ninja?"

"Hai."

"Then make a chakra bubble with your hands and place it over one of his organs. Keep it there for a few seconds and then remove your hand. You should be the poison in the bubble. Then you could discard it in the wastebowl." She explained and then performed it on Jiraiya's lungs. He started twitching in pain and I shh'd him and placed a kiss on his forehead. He stopped moving completely."You've got to tell me how you did that." She said to me and I laughed. Now knowing what to do, I did the same thing but with his heart. "Do you know who healed him? I barely see a scratch in sight."

"Oh, that was me." I said proudly and emptied the chakra bowl with poison in it. After 30 minutes, we were done and I was halfway down on my chakra. Tsunade went out of the room to make an antidote and I tried to get Jiraiya to talk again. "Jiraiya." His beautiful black eyes opened lazily. His eyes seemed to search around the room for the person who called him. I chuckled at his confusion and he stared at me. I stared at him back holding his hand in mine. Nothing needed to be said. No words needed to be exchanged, just eye contact. After a minute, he weakly squeezed my hand and made a smirk.

"I told you I was going to make it wasn't I?" he said weakly in a low raspy voice. I made a wide smile and pecked him on the lips.

"I believed you then. And I believe you now." Then my facial expression turned to serious. "I swear. You ever get yourself this hurt again, were coming after you first." He smiled.

"And who is 'were'."

"My whole clan. Everyone. I'll tell them to go kill the person who hurt you and I'll have to deal with you myself."

"Is this your way of showing your love for me, fiancé?" My eyes widened. I had almost forgotten about his promise to me.

"You-you was serious? I thought it was just your death wish." My face was hand signatured with 'shock' in script letters all over it.

He chuckled. "Dead serious." Then he suddenly looked away from me and turned his attention to the window. "That's unless you don't want to marry me."I turned his head right back to me with my free hand.

"You baka. I do." And I think he used up the last of his strength to give me the biggest bear hug and the widest grin he has ever given me. The things you put me through, Jiraiya. He managed to say a few more words before he fell asleep.

"I love you and as soon as I get out of here, I'm putting a diamond right on your middle finger."

*

I held my right hand up to my face for the hundredth time that day. The sunlight reflected against my diamond, making it sparkle the prettiest color. I smiled to myself for the hundredth time that day. When the Doctor's told Jiraiya that he should stay in the hospital for a week, he made a plan. He stayed there 2 days and on the 3rd he showed up at my front door in hospital clothes and a black box in his hand. I couldn't help but let tears fall from my face as he knelt on one knee and took his hand in his. There he opened the box to reveal the most beautiful thing besides that scene by the pond. The diamond was a light shade of pink with the sweetest shine on it. I remember him saying that he broke out of the hospital and bought the diamond. I just kissed him and transported him right back to his hospital bed. I slightly moved my hand to see the different rays of the stone. So-so beautiful. I frowned when a big shadow blocked the sun from hitting the stone. I looked up to see the person who spoiled my happiness. Jiraiya stood there in his full ninja outfit and make-uped face. He smiled.

"Still admiring that ring?" he held that wonderful smirk on his face as he held out his hand to help me up.

"Yes. It really is beautiful Jiraiya. Thank you so much!" I jumped up and kissed his passionately on the lips. He broke free and chuckled.

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"Today, I'm your bag boy and your money bag." I smiled widely.

"You spoil me too much."

"Nothing is too much for you, Hikari."
