So i finally figured out what was attacking Dean lol and started on an update to this, im hoping to start updating it every few days since im back into the supernatural swing of things lol as usual feedback would be appreciated :)
Ive also changed some of the lore about the penanggalan to coincide with the events in the story :)For those of you a penance ceremony is a period of self punishment for sins committed against the church, like Silas in the Da Vinci Code was doing to himself.

I wrinkled my nose as the strong medicinal scent that seemed to linger in every hospital invaded my nostrils, my hands instinctively reaching down to my gradually growing belly as the room slowly began to come into focus. Crystal's expression was slightly sour, her eyes narrowing in on me intently as i blinked the thick layers of sleep away and glanced around the room. The last thing i remembered was the smell of burning from the candles Crystal was using for the cleansing ritual as the curtains ignited. Sam's research, even it was too little too late, had matched Crystal's and confirmed that we were dealing with a penanggalan. Once a human highly dedicated to the church she was interrupted during her penance ceremony. The shock had caused her head and body to separate, giving birth to the evil spirit she had now become. Her spirit was said only to appear in places where childbirth was taking place but some lore claimed she haunted the mother throughout the pregnancy, attacking anyone with emotional ties to the baby in preparation for killing the baby at birth.
"If you're looking for Dean he went to go get coffee". I lowered my eyebrows inquisitively at the accusatory tone in Crystal's voice, looking at her vacantly for some clarification as i propped myself up gently. "Why didn't you tell me about you and him?" she continued, her voice quiet with disappointment. Clearly her attachment to Dean was more than just physical. I sighed softly at the thought of once again having to justify myself and face more punishment for a mistake that was only half mine.
"It was something and nothing okay. It was just sex, we both needed to release some tension and stress and thats what we did, god knows neither of us are big on caring and sharing. How'd you even know about us?". Crystal stopped pacing and sank down onto the bed gently, avoiding my gaze as she produced her journal which she promptly began looking through. Her fingers played with the frayed edges of my blanket as she located the correct page and turned it round for me to read.
"because the first person she always attacks is the father of the baby"
dun dun dun lol is the spirit right though?
Hope y'all enjoyed, don't yell at me i haven't decided if Dean's really going to be the daddy yet but after seeing him with Ben in episode 3.05 its a strong possibility :)
