A Vampires War {Part nine}

Holly's POV

Ah, shit! "Colleen, stop slapping me!" I mumbled.
Wait, no.. That would be Max... the vampire... HOLY SHIT! A VAMPIRE! A vampire. A vampire. A vampire. A vampire!
Now I realize that a vampire kidnapped me and that there is not much I can do. What do vampires do? Something with necks?
Oh shit. That's right.
I DON'T WANNA LOSE MY BLOOD! I don't wanna die yet! I want to go skydiving! I want to visit China! I want to fall in love and travel through Europe! Learn to juggle! To LIVE!!!!
Max stopped slapping me and took a good look at me, his head cocked to the side. "Are you okay?"
My eyes widened in fear.
"Hey, please don't freak out, were not gonna hurt you."
Yeah right! My bottom lip started to tremble. Ben furrowed in eyebrows in alarm. "Holly, calm down. We just need you for something."
I took a deep breath, But I continued to tremble violently. I felt extremely scared.
Ben grabbed my shoulders and held me close to his face. "Snap out of it." He said quietly.
Than, I felt my thoughts rush back. I stopped shivering and lay limp in his arms, staring in to his bright green eyes. Something about how Ben's eyes stared at me made me stop. I know I'm going to live. Because I think these guys actually aren't going to hurt me. I took a deep shuddering breath. "Can you prove your not going to hurt me?"
"I would have killed you by now if I wanted too."
I guess that's good enough. I sat up quietly, pulled my knees up to my chin and wrapped my arms around my legs in a small effort to warm myself. Ben's skin was so cold.
Ben smiled. "Better. Can I talk to you now?"
I nodded. I didn't trust myself to speak. I was still scared that Max might bite me. You don't know how it feels to see those fangs. It's just scary.
Max turned and stared at Ben. "How'd you get her to shut up?"
My temper snapped in. "You shut up!"
"SH!" shushed the vampires.
"Jackass!" I said in a quieter voice. "You scared the hell out me with your friggin fangs! I had a right to freak out! And I didn't freak out that much!"
Max grinned sheepishly. "Sorry. I thought you would just freeze in horror. You did quite the opposite. And I haven't heard anyone bug out as big as you did. Babies could hardly compete with you!"
I snarled and pulled my hand back to slap his sorry-ass smile off his face.
I let fly but he was quicker. He brought up his hand up and caught my hand in his fist and brought it down. "Don't even try, hon."
I narrowed my eyes with venom and yanked my hand back. "What do I have to do to get out of your hellish custody?"
Max bit his lip. Ben frowned. What did I do?
Ben talked first. "Do you like fairies?"
I blinked. Fairies? The mythical creatures that I loved more than anything? Duh! I was about to tell them how much I loved them but I bit my tongue before I spoke. Why did they want to know? "Why do you want to know?"
Max lowered his head, hiding his eyes from view with his bangs. "The vampires are at war with the fairies."
?!?!?!?! Their joking! I looked from Ben to Max.
And from the looks on their faces, they were definitely not joking.
