I'm just really tired. and STAR testing is driving me insane, I'm running on Hot Cheetos, A Cup of Black Coffee, and Fruit. I told you I was the most fucked up kid you'd see in you earlier life. enjoy reading this painfully long excuse for a chapter.

The next classes flew by, I only made contact with Hayley a few times, just to say hi or sorry when our hands bumped when walking next to each other or reaching across the desks to get supplies or books.

By the time lunch came, I was starving, and was expecting my lunch to already be on the table when I arrived, but no; this wasn't Hogwarts, it was a high school where the only wizards were the people in the Chemistry club.

"Josshiiieeeeee, go stand in line fooorr meee" I whined, too tired and lazy to go stand in the huge lines.

"Allyyyyyyy, go get your own foooooddd" He whined back, just as lazy.

"God knows how you two are going to survive in the real world." Christy and Sammie blinked at us.

Josh rose his hand "We're gonna have my band's roadies do everything for us."

"Even headbang?" Hayley smiled.

"yes. even headbang." I replied back, resting my head on the cool mahogany colored table.

"ALLYSON!"

I felt two pairs of cold hair rest on my shoulders, causing me to jump and scream.

I turned to meet the eyes or Zac, who grinned widely.

"WUD DA FAK?" I asked in the weirdest voice i could muster.

The table spluttered into laughter, milk squirting out of someone's nose and Josh cracking up. with some ews from the girls.

"I don't know, just wanted to say hi."

I rolled my eyes and went back to resting on the table.

"Ally. teh lunch lines are down." Sammie smiled.

Everyone had gotten their lunch and was eating, except me, I was writing music and lyrics.

I smiled at her and got up, going to the line and standing there, waiting for it to make it's progress to the front, after I got the lunch, I took my seat again, my blue eys locking with Sam's green ones.

~~ HAYLAYYY'S P.O.V. ~~

The closeness that Sam and Ally shared quiet frankly made me a bit jealous. I tried denying my feeling for her, like seriously, what kind of girl likes another girl.

You.

UGH! Nooo! Go away.

heheheh

I watched Allyson and Sammie talk through each other's eyes, godheaven knows how they did it.

"Hey Hayles, we're planning on heading over to Ajax's to practice, you wanna come?" Josh smiled at me and put a spoonful of mashed potatoes into his mouth.

I didn't even hear the question at first, I was too busy having a conversation with myself.

"HAYLEY!" Zac yelled after I hadn't responded.

"huh what? band? oh yeah, sure."

"god, I swear, you're so out of it today, you didn't even answer Half the questions Mr. H gave you." Josh rolled his eyes.

Allyson had finally looked away from Sammie to join in on our conversation. "So, Hayley, you sing right?"

Her attention on me was unexpected, and to tell the truth, I almost stuttered when I answered her back, but I didn't. "Yeah...?"

"Well, Josh wanted me to help you with your vocal exercises. Who's helping you now?"

"Brett Manning."

She nodded and looked at Josh, whispered something into his ear, he chuckled and they both turned to me.

"Uhhhmmm, he's my uncle."

I almost choked on the milk I was drinking, before couging out "WHAT?!"

She bursted out laughing. "I'm kidding! He's one of my close friends, I learned from him the first few weeks I was here."

"Why'd you quit?" I asked, while we carried on eating.

"I just needed to freshen up my vocal chords, I hadn't sang in a long time, so, yeah."

I nodded, the girl was interesting. And sh-

My thoughts were interrupted with The Sex Pistols blasting from someone's phone.

Allyson's eyes went wide, as she grabbed her phone and picked up, whispering "COVER ME!"

Josh and I leaned over her and pretended that she was a backpack.

"Is that Hanna?" Sam asked.

"Yah think?!"

Sam giggled and carried on eating.

"Hey, what's up Han?"

~~ ALLYSON'S P.O.V. ~~

"SAVE MEEEE!"

My ear could've glopped out my brain, Cause it wasn't HANNA that was calling, it was our friend Audrey, on Hanna's phone.

"Audrey? Why do you have Hanna's phone?!"

"I stole it from her, and now she and Trace have waterguns and are after me!"

"wooooooow." I laughed "I'm just gonna hand the phone to Sam, and you can talk to her."

Sam took the phone and smiled "Hey. No. Just give the phone back to her silly. No, I'm not going to fly back just to save you. Oh well, that sucks." She held the phone away from her ear, and we all heard a high pitched scream.

She got soaked.

I bursted out laughing and took back the phone, hearing Hanna pick up and cheering Trace on.

"wwooooooow."

"Has got nothing to do with it." She smiled. "How are you?"

"I don't know, ask me later, I'm at school."

"Oh oops, sorry, I'll call you later, how's Sammie doing?"

I rolled my eyes. "HANNA!"

"SORRY, BYE!"

I hung up and saw Hayley and the rest gaping at me.

"Who was that?" Josh asked.

".... uh... HannaBeth and Audrey Kitching?"

Screams. Tons of them. Screams.

"I suggest we run before they all dive for your phone." Sammie laughed.

Then we ran, ran like the freaking wind to any place we could find, somewhere along the road, we took my phone apart, I took the main body, Hayley took the Battery, and Sammie took the back cover.

We kinda figured that it'd be harder for them to get the number, but within 5 seconds, they had gotten both the battery and the back covering.

"SORRY ALLY!"

I started speaking in Italian and cussing at people to get out of the way,

"PINK BABOONS!"

That stopped all of them as I dodged over the final of the people and ran into the old music class, which was now used as a storage room for the instruments.

I sighed and looked around, looking at all the instruments, flutes, clarinets, violas, violins, et cetera... yet one single thing caught my eye, a grand piano, set on the top of a small stage, dust-covered.

I walked up to it and pressed a key, now it might have been dusty, but the notes rang out clear as an electric keyboard.

The dust was thick against the black polished wood that made up the thing, I brushed the grime off the small bench and took a seat, biting my lip, slowly I began to play.

~~ HAYLEY'S P.O.V. ~~

The crowd had given up, and had given us back the pieces of the phone, the only thing missing now was the owner of the phone.

"Okay, we have about 20 minutes before the bell rings, our mission: to find Allyson as soon as possible. Hayley, You go look over at the west side of school, first floor, Sammie, you take the second floor. Crystal will cover the area around the Cafeteria, and Zac and I shall take the east."

I sighed and went with Sam over to the west side, whistling while looking around for the girl with hot pink and orange highlights.

"Do you see her?" She asked.

I shook my head and mumbled a no, before seeing the stairs, leading up to where Sam was headed.

"See you later." She mumbled.

"mmhmm"

And then we went our separate ways. I looked in tons of rooms, even the two bathrooms in that hallway, nothing, until I heard quiet, yet still, beautiful music float into my ears. I looked at the source and found it was the old music room, that nobody ever entered, rarely, except for the choir ensemble teachers, who came in to get an instrument so they could accompany the class' singing. I opened the door and found Allyson sitting on a bench, playing with her eyes closed, as if Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata was the easiest song to play in the world with her eyes closed. Freak. The girl was awesome.

I watched her play until her blue eyes found their way into mine, I heard her gasp, I felt my face flush and a smile play onto my lips.

"Wha-, How-, Whe- , Why-, HUH?!"

"What? We were looking for you, the crowd gave up. How? We, uhm well, I, heard you playing. Where? Here. Why? We were looking or you, as I said before."

She gaped at me. I smiled and tried to do my best no to gush all over her playing, but it was simply beautiful, Her finger's flowed like fish in the water.

"Where'd you learn to play like that?"

She shrugged "I truly don't know, I was just taught at a young age, I found myself highly attracted to classical music and rock. All types of rock. Punk Rock, Pop Rock, Rock n' Roll. But even with all of that, Classical music made me feel like there was actually some beauty in the world."

She had a deeper understanding up music too, oh man. Remember what I said about Awesome? well, forget that. She's drop dead amazing.
