The scent of blood filled the air!
The sound of maons from the wounded warriors was all that could be heard!
Scrolls and swords lay everywhere!
It was a war!
A war that was getting bad!
Very bad!
Not many could survive,and most didn't!
Kasume ran fast through the trees!
A Necromancer close behind her.
"Leave me alone!"Kasume yelled as she tried to run faster.
"Get back here vampire!"The Necromancer yelled.
"No,leave me alone!"Kasume yelled as she took a sharp left tunr almost loosing her balance.
"Useing your abilities isnt going to work with me!"The Necromancer yelled as he pulled out a long scroll and began to chant.
Kasume could hear the chants,and before she knew it her body when numb!
She fell and hit the ground hard.
"W-whats g-going on?"Kasume asked trying to move.
"I casted a spell on you,you can't move,you can't fight,I'm surprized you can speak."The Necromancer said walking up to her.
"No! Leave me alone!"Kasume yelled.
The Necromancer reached down and picked her up by the trhought,he tightened his grip,and smiled.
"Die vampire!"He yelled as he took out a long peice os silcer and stabbed her through the chest.
He let her go and she hit thr ground,slowly dieing,she opened her eytes to see Vampires and Necromancers fighting a few feet away,they where all being sloughtered!
Kasume shot up from her bed crying.
"Kasume whatn is it!?"Her father asked rushing in to her side.
"I-I.."Kasume started before breaking out in tears again.
"What is it my dear?"Her father asked again,more worried.
"Whats going on?"Hitoshi asked walking into Kasume's room.
"I-I.....the war....the blood.....t-the..."Kasume managed before crying again.
"Bad dream?"Hitoshi asked.
"N-no....it was so r-real..."Kasume whimpered.
"It's okay Kasume,it was opnly a dream."Her Father assured her.
"O-okay.."Kasume said.
"Go back to sleep now.."Hitoshi said before walking out the room.
"Yes go back to sleep."Her father said as he tucked her in,kissed her forhead,and left the room.
Kasume woke up and streached before getting dressed and heading out of her room and down the long hall.
The scent of blood filled the air,and Kasume began to shake.
"W-why is the smell of blood about?"Kasume asked herself.
"K-Kasume?"A voice asked.
Kasume spun around,and looked at her brother,standing behind her,badly injured!
"Hitoshi!"Kasume said as she ran up to him.
"Kasume...y-you have to run..."Hitoshi said as he colapsed onto the floor.
"HITOSHI!"Kasume yelled as she ran over to him laying on the floor.
"Hitoshi?"Kasume asked looking at her brother lieing unconstouse on the floor.
"W-what happened!?"Kasume asked scared.
"Hello,Kasume!"A woman's voice said.
"A-Alira?"Kasume asked tunring to see a woman.
"Yes,it's me!"Alira said smiling.
"Whats hapened here?"Kasume asked.
"Nothing....I just decided to have alittle fun!"Alira said as she drew out a sword.
"W-what?"Kasume asled backing away frightened.
"Run....run little Princess,I don't feel like wasting the powers of my blade on the likes of you!"Alira said pointing her sword at the frightened young Vampire.
Kasume tunred around quikly and grabbed Hitoshi,she threw his arm around her shoulder then ran!
Kasume ran carrying Hitoshi with her,she ran over the gate which led to the castle she once called home.
She started running through the woods just beyond the gate,which was filled wioth werewolves,rouge vampires,and other creatures.
She stopped at a lake in the woods,she layed Hitoshi down and began to cry.
"Alira,my Unckle's bride to be,she killed themshe killed everyone,my Father,my Unckle probably,and everyone else,Except me and Hitoshi!"She whimpered as her bloodfilled tears fell into the water of the lake.
"Excuse me Miss,but are you okay?"A man's voice asked,it seemed he also had a slight accsent.
Kasume slowly turned her head to see a tall,oddly dressed Vampire smiling like an idiot behind her.
"Y-yes,w-who are y-you?"Kasume asked.
"I'm L....er I mean I'm Hai,who are you?"The young man asked.
"Hai? Oh I'm Princess Kasume,n-nice to m-meet you."Kasume said.
"The pleasure is all mine,now what's wrong? I seen and heard you crying."Hai asked.
"M-my family w-was slaughtered..."Kasume said as she began weeping.
"Oh,I'm sory to hear that,is there anything I can do to help?"Hai asked.
"Y-yes,can you help my b-brother?"Kasume asked pointing to Hitoshi.
"I shal do my best little Miss!"Hai said as he walked over to Hitoshi.
He exzmined his wounds then pulled out a small sheet of finely cut cloth,and tore it,he took out a small herb and shook it,some flakes of what looked like cotton fell into the peice of cloth,he wrpped it around Hitoshi's wound and stood back up.
"He shoukld be okay now!"Hai said smiling wide.
"T-thanks!"Kasume said smiling.
"Ah,your smiling,atlast,I can see a smile from the nice little lady!"Hai said excited.
Kasume laughed and Hai began to smile bigger.
"Thanks Hai,I needed to smile and laugh again."Kasume said smiling.
"No problume Miss,I'm happy to help in any way I can!"Hai said laughing.
"K-Kaume?"Hitoshi mumbled.
"Hitoshi!"Kasume yelled turning to face him as Hai looked down at him.
"W-who is that!?"Hitoshi asked.
"This is Hai,he hepled us!"Kasume said.
"Oh,thank you kind Sir."Hitoshi said smiling weakly.
"No need to thank me,and please call me Hai."Hai said smiling.
"You sure do smile alot,don't you Hai?"Kasume said smiling.
"Yes,some say I have a very cheery mood,some say it brightens the mood and others.....well.....they get mad and winde up hitting me on the head with something..."Hai said smiling.
"Well the hitting on the headn would explain why your a few screw short of a brain."Hitoshi said with an annoyed look.
"What?"Hai asked smiling.
Both Kasume and Hitoshi got a confused look on their faces.
"Told you..."Hitoshi said annoyed.
"Hitoshi be nice,he did save you after all!"Kasume said.
"Fine..."Hitoshi said closing his eyes.
"I'm sorry about him!"Kasume said smiling.
"It is okay! I don't mind that he thinks I'm stupid,most people do!"Hai said smiling.
Kasume laughed and Hitoshi sighed.
"By the way,we should get outa here,this place isn't safe!"Hai said.
"Good idea,but one problume,I can't walk!"Hitoshi yelled.
"Thats okay!"Hai said smiling.
"What are you oing to do?"Hitoshi asked.
"Leave you here!"Hai said.
Hitoshi gulped.
"Nah,just kidding I'll carry you."Hai said as he picked him up.
"Whatever..."Hitoshi said annoyed.
"Well you have to deal with it for now!"Kasume said smiling.
