Taygen sat on her couch, reading a book that her friend, Jackie had given her. It was a tragic romance that reminded her of her last relationship. It was chaos. The person behind it all?
Pete Wentz.
She was Fall Out Boy's band manager for their last tour. She quit her job as a band manager, for the sake of her son, Joseph-Mark.
Joseph's father, Pete is not a part of their lifes, nor will he ever be. Taygen came to the conclusion that Pete might've wanted children, just not with her. He is with a lady named Ashlee. They are engaged, to be married sometime soon.
About 8 months after Joseph-Mark was born, Taygen realized that her love for Pete was nothing. It was like a candle, it slowly fades away.
Taygen sees Pete everyday, or at least a replica. Joseph's eyes are the exact same, captivating, honey brown color as his father's.
Taygen has a stable job as an artist. She sells paintings, and is able to be at home with her son at all times.
It was really hard for Taygen to get over Pete, but after watching many episodes of The Simpsons, and through many tubs of strawberry ice cream, her love for Pete faded. Though she went through the sadness and heartbreak of love, she realized that he wasn't ready to take on a different life. He was, and always will be, a rockstar. She knew that he'll always be on stage, taking on the life of booze, sex, and drugs.
But don't judge him. He may be a man-whore, but deep inside, Pete really is a godd person. Taygen knows that, even though Pete made ass-y decisions, and remarks, he was secretly a kind, caring person.
At first, when Taygen was an uncaring bitch, she thought that her son was a mistake. Now she knows that he's the best thing that ever happened to her. Maybe not to Pete, but in Taygen's eyes, Joseph-Mark is a miracle.
Just goes to show, she can survive the burdens of life, and you can, too.
