{This is the final chapter. Yes, I know it was a short story, and it was meant to be. It was my first story on quizilla, so dont be angry. If you liked this story, perhaps you will like my other ones as well.}
Chiyako walked next to Kakashi, almost literally shaking. Every noise was something to jump at now, every shadow was something to fear. That man had come and tried to take her away, tried to make her his wife. What was so important about her, what was so great? Other than the fact that she could tell the future, Chiyako had no clue why they would need, or even want, her.
Kakashi glanced down and saw how frightened Chiyako was, and his gaze softened even more. He quickly glanced behind him and saw the others straggeling behind, talking, laughing, and yelling. A smile formed on his lips and he put an arm around Chiyakos shoulders. She nearly jumped out of her skin, but relaxed slightly after seeing it was him.
"Chiyako..Don't be afraid. That man was scary, you are right to be afraid and aware of him. However, you don't need to be scared when I'm here with you. I will protect you, Chiyako, I promise," Kakashi whispered to her. Chiyako stared at him a moment, then smiled and nodded. "Of course, Kakashi-sama," she said clearly.
He frowned. Kakashi-sama? He didn't like this, and he didn't like the fact that Chiyako still wouldn't look him in the eye, or show him her face.
Kakashi caught himself before saying something stupid, and just shook his head. They were almost at there destination, just now passing Kanohas gates. Only about a mile to go. "Sasuke, Sakura, Naruto!"
Immediatly, they were all next to him. "Sasuke, stop staring off into space. Sakura, stop staring at Sasuke. And for the love of God, Naruto, get your finger out of your nose," Kakashi said seriously. Suddenly, the younger ninja were all focusing on him intently. "I will take it from here. Tell the Hokage, I will be fine and will return in due time. Don't worry. I will get Chiyako-sama," he glanced down at her shocked face. Had he just called her, sama?," home safely," Kakashi finished.

About twenty-five minutes later, Chiyako and Kakashi stood infront of a mansion. No, more like a castle without towers. It was clear that Chiyako was amazed. She reached for his arm, but he moved it away, knowing full well what would happen -- what she would see -- if she touched his arm. He knew it hurt her that he was suddenly distant, but he would make up for it soon enough.
-----------------
Chiyako sat, legs under her, head bowed, face hidden. Servants had come in, dressed her, done her hair, but a crown on her head. She didn't understand, but when she had grabbed ones hand, she saw it all. She finally understood why Kakashi had left without a goodbye, why he had not let her touch him. Now, she reflected on it.
The young servant walked into the room. She had been summoned by the old King, and the prince whom was to be married that ngiht. She looked to the king, however, it was the prince who spoke. "Do not tell her anything. I will do that myself before the wedding tonight. Now go, prepare your new princess, and soon to be, Queen," he had said, gently, yet with purpose. The servant turned to the prince, he was still in his uniform, his leaf village uniform. His face was hidden, as usual. "Yes, sir," she had said and fled.
The Prince was Kakashi Hatake. And he was coming for her. She knew it. It was only a matter of time before he entered the room. Only a matter of time before Chiyako married him.
---------------
Kakashi walked into the room and saw Chiyako sitting obiediantly on a cushion. Had she moved since the servants left her? He didn't know, but he suspected she hadn't.
"Chiyako?" Her head lifted, only slightly. "Yes, Kakashi-sama?" was her meek reply. "Do not call me sama. I am not your better. I am your equal. Please understand, I could not tell you, I might have risked everything," he all but whispered. "I know, Kakashi-chan," another meek reply. Had she lost all her spirit? No, only most of her soul.
Kakashi reached for her hand. It was warm, but not clamy. Chiyako stared at his hand a moment. She wanted to recoil, but didn't. She liked this, his hand on hers. A wave went through her and she blushed. Everytime this man touched her, she felt like she would melt!
"I feel betrayed, Kakashi-chan. When we met, I found an interest in you. Everytime you touch me...I can not help but blush and feel dizzy. You could not have told me? Not even in the private of the woods? I am here to serve. I know what a secret is. I know how to keep one. Why not tell your servant of her future?" she found herself asking, slowly, thinking each word over. He seemed taken aback, but relaxed slowly.
"Chiyako, look at me," a command not a plea. She slowly lifted her gaze to his face, but not his eyes. "Look me in the eye, please. Don't be afraid of me. See the truth in my eyes," now this was a plea. Chiyako hesitated, then met his eyes and a saw them sparkle. She also saw an entire past, the entire truth."You are not a servant. You never will be, that myst be clear. Nobody but Hokage-sama knows what I am. Nobody but him and you and my servants, and my father...I was afraid somebody would hear me. I wanted to tell you, I really did." There was a pain in his eyes, a longing. It made her wonder something.
"Kakashi...Do you..Love me.." It was odd hearing herself say this. His gaze turned soft, yet seemed ablaze. "I have since the first time I saw you," he admitted. "You love me, even though you have never seen my face?" she asked timidly. "Yes....Althought..I wish to see it very much," he said slyly. "Your wish, is my command." Ands with that, Chiyako stood and removed her fan.
"Your beautiful. Did anyone ever tell you that?" Chiyako blushed and shook her head. There was a long silence, not an awkward one, though.
"Chiyako?"
"Hmm?"
"Will you marry me? In an hour?"
"Do I have a choice?"
Silence.
"Yes. I can set you free, if freedom is what you wish...You do not have to marry me..."
Silence.
"Can't I have both?"
Thoughtful silence.
"Yes."
"Then yes, I will marry you in an hour. With pleasure."
And, an hour later, they walked down the aisle. They got married. They had their first kiss. And forever more, they were in love.
