-Endless Rain-
Gentle, loving touches. Trembling lips and soft gasps, fingers tracing every curve, so many, so beautiful...
He stood on the rooftop, smiling as the interviewer asked questions and he answered them, trying to keep a happy face, trying to keep up appearances.
Heat flowed between them, and he wanted more, wanted to feel the other inside and out. A deep moan escaped his lips as the other moved inside him, how he loved this feelings...
He was happy, if only a little, to be able to do this, to be able to play like this once more. But was it really worth it? The one he loved so secretly and so deeply wasn't here to share it with him, wasn't here next to him smiling, being his usual goofy self.
Damn it, he really wished he was here...
"More...more..." He begged, digging his nails into his lover's shoulders, holding on for dear life as the other man thrust into him, pleasure crashing over them like waves as it rained all around them.
They were soaked, but the heat of their bodies was keeping them from feeling it.
"Say it...scream it for me..." The other's voice was husky with need and lust and love.
He couldn't deny that voice, could never deny his love.
He held tighter to the stuffed doll in his hand. It looked just like him, only it was smaller, and had an anime-ish look about it. It was smiling, but not like his lover's true smile. He was glad he was wearing sunglasses, despite it being night time, that way, no one could see his eyes, as they filled with tears, but never fell.
"Ah...AH!...H-hide..." He moaned deeply, as the pink-haired man's pace quickened and they felt their release coming.
"...So beautiful...Yoshiki..." Hide murmured, capturing his lips in a deep kiss, more gasps lost to this kiss.
Silly them, they couldn't wait to get each other's clothes off, and here they were, on the balcony of Hide's apartment, making love in the rain.
Where did their sense go? Oh yes, lost in the haze of lust and love...
"Hide...I--I'm co--" Yoshiki cried out when his orgasm hit him, his release splattering across their stomachs.
Seconds later, Hide buried his face against Yoshiki's neck as he came, exploding deep within the drummer's writhing body.
"Thank you for you're time, and good luck with the video, Yoshiki-sama."
Yoshiki nodded, as they both stood up and bowed. After the interviewer walked away, Yoshiki immediately retreated inside the building rooftop entrance, away from all the people, looking for a quiet room. He found one and collapsed on the couch within, finally letting his tears flow freely.
"Hide..." He clutched the little doll to his chest and cried softly, shoulders shaking with his sobs and muffled voice.
"Yoshi-chan..."
He heard a whisper, and swore he felt a hand on his back. He shot up at this and looked around seeing nothing.
"Yoshiki...you're crying again..."
The older drummer froze then, slowly turned to look behind him. Standing there, leaning against the wall, was Hide, in all his glory. But he looked different, aged somehow, and his hair wasn't it's signature pink and black, but a faded red, as if the pink had washed out over time.
"Hi-Hide?" Tears filled his eyes again.
Hide smiled, before walking over to him and sitting down on the couch. It was then Yoshiki noticed he was a extremely pale, but otherwise, he was solid, as if Hide was really there...
"Yeah, it's me...You've seemed a little down lately, and well, I saw how you were nearly in tears during that interview." Hide smiled, "I am finally able to show myself you..."
Yoshiki frowned at this a bit, "Finally? What do you mean?"
"I mean, I've always been with you, just, I haven't been 'allowed' to show myself to you, so to speak..." Hide laughed, clear and silly.
"Hide..."
At his weakened voice, Hide stopped laughing and scooted closer to him, wrapping warm arms around the now older man. Yoshiki went wide-eyed at the feeling of these arms around him again, and nearly broke down crying, immediately burying his face against Hide's neck.
"I've missed you, I missed you, Oh god, I missed you so fucking much..." Yoshiki cried, throwing his arms around his former lover.
"I know...I've noticed..." Hide chuckled, wrapping his arms around the trembling drummer.
"It's been so long..." Yoshiki's voice was muffled against the cool skin of Hide's neck, noticing how cold it was to the touch, but still teeming with life.
Hide was real, he was here in Yoshiki's arms, but how...?
"That, I know too..." Hide giggled, stroking the older man's hair lovingly.
"But how? How are you here, right now?" Yoshiki asked, pulling away slightly to look into Hide's face, seeing the uncertainty there and wondering why.
"Its a long story...but here's the short version..." Hide leaned forward and kissed him deeply, silencing him from saying anything more.
The kiss was long, passionate, loving, caring. All the emotions that Hide had stuffed up, he let out in this one kiss, this sweet dance of lips between two lovers separated by time and death. At least, Yoshiki thought it was death...But his lover's body, it was here, in his arms, as alive and solid as the last time he had held the guitarist.
"Hide...please..." Yoshiki pleaded when they gently pulled away, "Please, tell me..."
Hide smiled one of his silly smiles, "Time changes everything, and sometimes, we get a second chance..."
"Second chance...?"
After that, everything went white.

Yoshiki jerked awake to the sound of someone crashing the cymbals of his drum set. His heart was pounding and he sat up from the couch, glaring at whoever had done it. Hide stood grinning at him from behind them, mischief alight in his eyes as he looked at Yoshiki.
"Wakey, wakey, sleepyhead!!! If you actually got a normal night's sleep, you might not drop everywhere you go!" Hide called out cheerfully, doing a drum roll.
"Asshole...are you drunk?" Yoshiki asked, completely serious.
Hide shook his head of wild pink hair, "Actually, no, I'm not, for once. But I wanted to go out today and do something, so I came over to get you!"
Hide got up from behind the drums then, going over to pull the drummer to his feet and drag him into his bedroom.
"Come on, get dressed, I want to wander the city with you!" Hide announced cheerfully, grinning from ear to ear.
"What are you one, Hide? It's..." He glanced to his clock, "7 in the morning!!! Are you NUTS???" He yelled, throwing a pillow at the other man.
"No, I'm insane. I could let you sleep, but I'm wide awake and I knew you'd be home, for once, and decided to bug you. Now get up lazy ass, we're going out!" The guitarist threw the pillow back and it hit Yoshiki square in the face.
Hide's laughter surrounded him as it once again went white.

"YOSHIKI~!!!!!!!! Come on, Gackt-chan said you need to come with us, you've been working too hard, so come on or Sugi-chan and I will drag you by your pretty hair!"
Yoshiki stared dumbly at the young soloist. Miyavi was grinning ear to ear, a bit reminiscent to Hide, but not really, and his enthusiasm was scary.
Yoshiki sighed, "Alright, but it's not voluntary." He said as he stood up, cleaning up his desk real quick so as not to tempt Miyavi's impatience. Twenty minutes later they were heading out of the studio with Gackt and Sugizo, all of them going out for a night on the town. The warm summer air of Los Angeles blew around them, keeping the heat to a minimum thankfully, and leaving the night clear. He couldn't see the stars due to the thick layer of smog, but he could still make out the brighter ones, barely.
"Yoshiki...Hide...he's..."
"He's what? Heath, tell me!"
"Hide is dead...they said suicide..."
He closed his eyes, trailing behind the other three as they walked the strip. Sugizo was holding his hand to keep him from getting lost, not that he would.
Bright eyes glazed in lust as passion took over.
Wild pink hair now damp with sweat.
Lips parted in moaning his name.
A duet of heavy breathing and the dance of bodies.
Yoshiki breathed deep of the night's air. His mind was playing tricks on him again, letting his memories take over instead of coherent thoughts, this time he didn't fight it. He let them wash over him and consume him.
"I'm walking in the rain, though everything seems to be hurting me for some reason. There is only nothing. Just kill me now ... as I roam forever. Until I can forget your love. To me sleep is confusing, a narcotic that only quiets the beating heart. All my love seems to flow from my body like a heart felt memory. I keep my love for you to myself. "
Above them, the sky began to fill with clouds, gray and full, moments later, a sudden downpour fell upon the city unexpectedly. People around them began to run for cover, and Gackt and Miyavi made a run for the nearest caf, Sugizo following them and trying to pull him along. But he stayed right there, letting go of Sugizo's hand and standing in the rain, removing his sunglasses and looking up into the pouring rain.
"Endless rain, fall on my heart In this wounded soul. Let me forget, all of the hate, all of the sadness, Days of joy, days of sadness slowly pass me by. As I try to hold you, you are vanishing before me. You're just an illusion. When I am awake, my tears have dried in the sands of sleep. I'm a rose blooming in the desert."
Yoshiki smiled. An odd smile, one the other three had never seen before as they watch him from inside. Sugizo gazed at Yoshiki until understanding dawned on him.
"It's a dream, I'm in love with you. Hold me warmly in your arms. I awake from my dream, I can't find my way without you..."
"He is thinking of Hide-sama..." He murmured, Gackt and Miyavi staring at him, before they nodded, getting it then.
"The dream is over. I can no longer hear the voice of your gentle words. Floating off tear stained walls. So awakening in the morning, I'll move into my dreams ...until I can forget your love."
Yoshiki could feel eyes on him, but didn't care. He thought he could feel arms embrace him and pull him against a flat chest, but he could've just been imagining it.
"Endless rain, fall on my heart, in this wounded soul. Let me forget, all of the hate, all of the sadness. Endless rain, let me stay a memory in your heart. Let me take in your tears, take in your memories."
He heard the words in his head, but also near his ear. And as their voice faded, he felt at peace again for the first time in a long while.
"Hide, my dearest... Sing for me again soon, please...."
to the end.
