I Promise. [[Nick Jonas Love Story]] Chapter Twenty-Two.

******Shaylea's Point Of View******



We were all in the room backstage, *Nick, Kevin, Joe, Miley, me, and the band*, just talking and laughing and singing when one of the stage hands knocked on the door and came in, like they always did.
"Okay Miss Dawn, are you ready?" I looked at everyone and smiled, and turned back to the stage hand.
"Yeah, I am." I said I started to walk out of the room, but Nick spoke first.
"Could you give us a second first?" He asked, the man nodded, Nick walked over to me, along with Joe and Kevin.
"Miley, we need a minute alone." Joe said looking at Miley, her face fell once again, but she nodded and exited the room. Nick grabbed my left hand and Joe grabbed my right, and Kevin put one arm around Nick, and everyone else fell into a place, we bowed our heads and Nick started.
"Father God, thank you for this day Lord. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. For us being able to be together and, for this amazing opportunity to show everyone our music. For getting us here safely tonight. Father God allow us to play a great show, let there not be any sound problems, or other issues. Thank you for letting Shaylea be here with us tonight. I know she's happy to be a part of this, and we are all really happy that she is. Father God, we love you. Amen." He finished.
"Amen." everyone said here and there.
"Campfire." Joe said as we all put our fingers in the middle of the group moving them from side to side, and making rediculos sound effects, then we all took our pointer finger of our free hand and touched them together. Once we backed up, Joe yelled.
"SAY IT NOW." then we all yelled. 'LIVIN' THE DREAM BABY, LIVIN' THE DREAM'.
"Good luck Shaylea!" everyone said.
"Thank you guys!" I said before Nick grabbed my hand and brushed a stray piece of my hair out of my face.
"Good Luck baby, you are going to be awesome." He said
"Thank you." I said, he leaned in to kiss me, I pulled away.
Everyone 'AWED'
"I have to be out there like now though. I love you." I said
"Okay, I love you too." he said before releasing my hand and kissing my cheek.
I walked out with Nick, Joe, Kevin and a few other people following behind, once I took the stage they would have their lock down. They did this every show. I was met by the man that was in the room before, he led me to the the side of the stage. I took a deep breath, and shook my body trying to release my nerves. I heard 'Okay Miss Dawn three, two, go.' through the earpieces that where in my ear. I walked out on stage with the music from one of my songs playing.
"How is everyone doing tonight?" I asked. The audience screamed
"Wow, you guys are amazing, but that's just not loud enough for the Jonas Brothers!" I said into the mic, once the words Jonas Brothers escaped my lips the arena got louder than before.
"Okay now that's better! I am going to sing you a few songs before they come out, so here goes." The music to one of my songs began to play, and I started to sing. I finished up my first four songs, and it was time for the one that I had written Nick, I stopped and held the mic to my lips.
"For this next song, I am going to need some help from my friends, the boys you have been waiting see." I said as the crowd grew louder, They walked on stage, and I looked at Nick he looked so confused, Joe and Kevin started to play some of the music, and Nick just stood there awkwardly.
"Okay guys, I'm going to sing you a new song tonight, I, well we, just finished it earlier today. This song is about someone very special in my life, he's so amazing, and makes me happier than I've ever been. I love him. I hope he knows that. He is, crazy, wonderful, he's loving, and caring, he's kind and beautiful. He's everything I could ever want and so much more. When he kisses me I still get butterflys, even though we have been dating for about about six months. He still makes me blush, and sometimes leaves me speechless. I wrote this song for this special boy to let him know how much he means to me, and how happy I am to be a part of his life." I finished as Joe sat a stool in the middle of the stage, Nick looked at me with a confused expression on his face.
"Okay, Now I know that after I say this, whoever didn't know will know, and I will be getting some evil glares, and there will probably be some 'Shaylea hating' going on. But this guy that I am talking about is him, Nick Jonas." I said as I pointed to him. I gave him a sweet smile, then added.
"By the way, if he looks a little shocked he didn't know about this, so it's a suprise." I laughed into the mic and looked over to Joe and Kevin and nodded my head telling them the start the music from the beginning.
"This ones called I Have Loved you." The first chords of the song began to play, and I started to sing.

I glanced at Nick he was now sitting on the stool. He looked shocked and looked like he was longing for something, the look was still there when I turned to sing the second verse.

The song finished and everyone screamed, little did I know it wasn't cause of my song, Nick got off the stool, and was making his way over to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me tight, he pulled away just a little, where his lips were close to my ear.
"Thank you baby, I love the song." he whispered.
"You're welcome, but thank you for the inspiration." I whispered before pulling away to give him a smile. He leaned back towards my ear, his breath on my neck gave me those chills.
"I'll thank you better for it later." He said before pulling away and giving me a toothy smile, I rolled my eyes and nodded with a smile on my face. I pulled away and looked out to the crowd.
"Alright everyone give it up for the Jonas Brothers!" I yelled into the mic, the crowd grew louder than before. Nick ran over and grabed his guitar, I started off stage and looked back at Nick once more, and he mouthed those three simple words that made my heart melt everytime they escaped his lips 'I Love You.' I smiled and mouthed 'I Love You Too.'. Joe, Kevin and Nick were playing one of their songs and I was watching from backstage, every once in a while Nick would look back at me, and wink or smile, I would smile back. It was now time for their last song, by this time they were all in their tank tops, and then Miley would go on and perform three songs, then they would all go on and do the 'We Got The Party With Us.' although I don't know why, Miley was performing as 'Miley', not as 'Hannah'. Nick, Joe and Kevin finished up their songs, and ran backstage as Miley went on stage.
"How about those Jonas Brothers!" Miley yelled from on stage. The crowd screamed.
"I know they totally rocked it. Now I am going to do a few songs for you guys." She said before the music to one of her songs started playing. Nick walked over to me, where I was watching Miley from the side of the stage.
"Hey baby." He said as he wrapped his bare arms around my waist.
"Hey. Your all sweaty." I said making a fake disgusted face.
"You don't want me to hold you? Fine." He said as he let go of me, and crossed his arms. I un-crossed his arms, and wrapped them around me.
"Of course I want you to hold me, even if you are all sweaty." I said before standing on my tippy toes and kissing his lips, he lifted one hand and grabbed the back of my neck pulling me closer.
"Good." He said after we broke apart, I rolled my eyes as Joe and Kevin walked over to us.
"Hey Shay. You did amazing." Joe said crushing me in a sweaty hug.
"Thanks and okay, wow Joe, you are like so sweaty." I laughed as I hugged him back.
"Oh, well you let Nick hug you and he is just as sweaty as me, if not worse." Joe said crossing his arms and making a disgusted face.
"I let you hug me too. And I happen to think that all three of you are equally sweaty." I said pointing to them.
"Oh, by the way, Thank you so much Joe and Kevin for helping me with the song." I said hugging both of them even though they were practicly soaked in their own sweat. Kevin and Joe nodded.
"No problem, we'd do anything for our little sister." Kevin said as Joe nodded agreeing with him. Miley was now done with the third and last song that she would be doing alone, so now the 'Jonas Brothers' would go back out and sing 'We got the party with us.'
"Okay guys, it's time for one last song, but I think that I am going to need some help from my friends." Miley yelled into the microphone the crowd got loud. Nick rolled his eyes, not because he had to go back out on stage, but because he had to go back out on stage with Miley.
"Alright baby, we gotta get back out there, but when we get done, we can go eat or something. Okay?" I nodded and Nick kissed my cheek before running out on stage beginning to play the chords to 'WGTPWU'. I sat and watched the performance from backstage, it looked like one big party on stage, and at the same time, it looked a little un-organized, with dancers running all over the place, but fun to say the least. They finished up the last verse and were about to do their final bow, when Joe ran over to me and drug me out on stage. He held my left hand and Nick held my right, with Kevin on the other side of Nick and Miley on the other side of Joe, and all of the extra people falling into place on either side of Miley and Kevin. We all took one final bow, and Nick, Joe, Kevin and Miley blew a couple kisses, and waved a couple times. About five minutes later we ran off stage leaving the crowd screaming and hollering.
"You guys were fantastic!" I said to Miley, Nick, Joe and Kevin.
"Thanks, you did okay too." Miley said, she sounded a little less enthused as I did.
"Okay!? She was amazing!" Joe said sticking up for me, he knew her all to well, and knew that she was trying to get to me.
"Awe. Thank you Joseph." I said giving him a hug. As soon as I released him, Nick walked over behind me and wrapped his arms around me.
"Do you wanna go get something to eat, baby?" He asked just before he burried his face into my neck.
"Sure." I said turning to face him, he smiled and I did too, then he whispered.
"Alone?" in my ear, I shrugged my shoulders, I didn't care if Miley, Kevin, Joe, or anyone else came.
"Well, then I guess its a group thing." Nick said with a smirk.
