Son of Cupid: Love's Legacy (intro)

Everyone’s heard of Romeo and Juliet, The great lovers who defied the world until death. St first, fictional characters fro the mind of a genius. Seemingly average mortals with hearts that inspired millions. Hearts that any god could admire.
But what use is such inspiration to a god? It’s the people they watch over who need the guidance.
With that, whoever’s in control gave birth to two beings. Both modeled after the greatest lovers the world had ever known. But the idea of love would never be enough, there would have to be a struggle.
The two would be split up, set on opposite ends of the grand earth and cursed to a cold immortality until they found one another.
The idea of their journey was a reminder never to give up. However, words turned to whispers and myths, and Love’s greatest legacy faded.
But those two souls still remained and continued through the ages in their quest.
