What hurts the most - Part 2

BRRRIIINNNGGG!
'Finally.'
you gathered your things up and started to head home. once again Rona was there with you. you told your grandpa that it was nice having him around to talk to so you'd keep him with you for a friend, not a protector. once you exited you headed for home when a voice caught you off guard. once again it was Yoh.
You: "What?"
Yoh: "Hey, wana come over to mine and meet my friends? i told them about you and they wana meet you."
You: "That's a nice offer, but..."
Yoh: "But what?"
You: "Not many people seem to like me very much. even my bands left me."
Yoh: "Well you dont have to worry about us. we get along with anyone."
You thought for a moment before agreeing and Yoh threw himself a small party on the spot. you thought he was kinda strange but he was a cool guy you had to admit. so you started walking with him to his house just talking about anything and nothing. soon you arrived at his house and you walked in and begun to take your shoes off.
Yoh: "Hey everybody, i'm home! come on i've got someone i want you all to meet!"
Oh why did he have to make you the centre of attention? soon some guys walked out as well as some girls. (You all know what they look like) and the tall one with strange looking hair ran over to you and clasped your hands.
Wierd guy: "Oh my sweet princess, never have i seen such beauty before. will you become my shaman queen?"
Suddenly a guy with spiked hair came out and smacked him on the head.
Pointy: "Leave her alone you dult. who would want to be your queen anyway?"
'Shaman queen? so these guys were in the tournament?'
Yoh: "Anyway, let me introduce you. these are Len, HoroHoro but we just call him Trey, Ryo, Anna and Pilika. guys this is Gabriella my new classmate."
Everyone said hello and you blushed from the attention. it wasn't something you were used to.
Ryo: "So my queen, why not tell us a little bit about youself?"
You: "Uh, i'd rather not. there's not really much to tell."
Anna: "Oh really? so you don't want to tell us that your a shaman?"
Everyone gasped and looked at you. you just looked confused.
You: "But, i'm not a shaman."
Anna: "Oh shut it! you think that i haven't seen your guardian ghost. i saw you talking to him yesterday. so what did you come here to do? dethrone Yoh of his crown as shaman king? or is it something more?"
You: "What? no! Rona is my grandpa's guardian ghost. he just comes with me everywhere to protect me and he's the only friend i have. and also i came here because Yoh asked me to."
Everyone went silent and you bit your lower lip.
You: "I can see i'm being a bother to you all. i'll just leave now. Come on Rona."
Rona appeared out of nowhere and waited while you put your shoes on.
Yoh: "Wait, we don't want you to leave."
You: "Its not obvious."
Ryo: "No, please my queen."
Trey: "Yeah, we want you here. so what of your a shaman."
You: "I'm not a shaman."
Rona: "Indeed she isn't. i have served master Kyle for many years now. i am simply following his orders to protect her."
Anna: "Hmm, well i guess you could stay. just no funny stuff."
and with that she walked off. you cocked an eyebrow but shrugged it off and Yoh dragged you into the living room and you all talked and had a laugh. even Rona had made friends with all the spirits there and looked like he was having a really good time.

You had now been friends with Yoh and the others for weeks now. every day after school you'd go through to his and hang out with everyone for a few hours before going home. and on the weekends it gave you chance to do your homework and just spend time with your family. you had capruted the heart sof everyone living there. Even Anna. they all like dyou and saw you as a good friend, other then Ryo who wanted you to be his 'shaman queen' but you just ignored them comments and carried on. so you were sat in Yoh's living room with the others. they were all talking to each other while you were writing a new song. as you were writing you were humming how you wanted it to sound and this caught the attention of the others.
Len: "What on earth are you doing?"
You: "Just something."
Morty: "Well, what is it?"
You: "I'm a lyric writer. it's what i do sometimes."
Yoh: "So you write songs?"
You: "Yeah, i also sing and play guitar."
Morty: "Come to think of it, i do remember saying you had a band."
You: "Yeah, once. they haven't spoke to me since i started that school and i dont know why."
Yoh: "Well you have us now. so mind if we hear that song of yours?"
You: "Not while it's incomplete."
Yoh: "When it's finished?"
You: "Sure thing."
You both smiled at each other and you carried on with your own thing. that is, until a large bang came from outside. you bolted upright and frantically looked around.
You: "What the hell was that?!"
Rona: "Miss Gabriella, are you alright?"
You: "Yeah, thanks Rona. are you?"
Rona: "Yes miss."
You nodded and followed the others out back to where the bang came from. You heard the others gasp with a chorus of 'hes alive?!' 'what the hell is this trickery?!' and 'We killed you!' but before you could get outside Trey grabbed you and held you in place.
Trey: "You girls stay in here where it's safe. you wont be in any danger here."
Pilika and Tamra nodded while you just huffed. he sounded just like your grandpa, never letting you get in on the fun. Anna merely hn'd and walked to the window signalling you all over there. you followed and peered out.
You: "What's going on?"
Anna: "It's Zeke."
Pilika: "B-but i thought he was dead."
Anna: "Obviously not."
You: "Who's Zeke?"
Anna: "He's also known as Hao and is Yoh's twin brother. He's lived for 1000 years and is pure evil."
You: "Well all brothers are evil."
Anna: "No, he has tried to create a world. a shaman only world."
You: "Well that doesn't sound good at all."
Anna: "It isn't."
You turned back to the window and looked to see a large and strange looking creature. it was obviously this Zeke's guardian ghost. and there he was, cat on it's shoulder.
'He really does look like Yoh. you can tell their twins.'
You could see them talking, but couldn't hear what was being said. all of a sudden a fight broke out and you watched with horrified eyes.
You: "Why are they fighting?"
Anna: "They are trying to kill Zeke."
You: "But, what if the others get hurt?"
Anna: "I dont know, they will just have to be careful."
You: "Well, i guess i could help in that area."
Anna looked at you intregued now.
Anna: "What are you talking about?"
You: "Well, i've followed the ninja way for years now. and i have managed to mater medical jutsus. so i can heal them if they get hurt."
Anna smiled and turned back to the window.
Anna: "You might not be useless to us then."
You grinned lightly and decided to take that as a compliment before turning back to the fight. you were scared to death, mainly for Trey. he was the main one you got along with and always had a laugh around him. suddenly, Ryo was knocked down and was about to get striked. you gasped and ran for the door.
You: "I cant take this anymore!"
You heard the calls of the girls telling you to go back but you ignored them and kept running until you reached Ryo and lunged at him, pushing him out of the way of the blow that would've killed him.
Ryo: "Gabriella, you saved me."
You: "I'm not about to let a good friend down."
Anime tears streamed from his eyes but you ignored him and looked up at this Zeke character. he has his eyes glued to you and watched you like a hawk. you scowled and stood up, watching him with unblinking eyes. suddenly he smiled and you prepared yourself.
Zeke: "So it seems Yoh has found a new team member."
You didn't reply to him, you just kept watching.
Yoh: "Gabriella, go back inside. it's too dangerous out here."
You: "I can take care of myself Yoh."
Yoh: "But your not a shaman, you could get killed."
You: "No, i'm not a shaman. but i am a kunoichi."
Yoh turned to Morty with a confused look on his face.
Yoh: "A what?"
Morty: "A kunoichi is a female ninja. but i didnt think people were ninjas anymore."
You: "Yeah, well i like to be different."
with that you jumped onto the roof and made some hand signs before placing your index finger and your thumb to your mouth.
You: "Flamethrower jutsu!"
you let out your oxygen as a long stream of fire danced from your mouth and hit the large ghost. watching you saw that it did nothing.
You: "What?!"
there wasn't a scratch on it, not even a burn mark. browsing over the spirit you noticed that Zeke wasn't on his shoulder anymore.
You: "Where'd he go?"
Zeke: "Maybe behind you?"
You bolted around and came face to face with a smiling Zeke. he really did look like Yoh, just with longer hair and wierder clothing.
You: "How did you?"
Zeke: "Well, lets just say i'm far too strong for you."
With that he stabbed you in the stomach with a sword and you heard the cries of the others. You saw Zeke smiling and then...you went poof! you dissapeared into a cloud of smoke.
Zeke: "What the?!"
Suddenly, you appeared behind him and held a kunai to his back.
You: "Now do you really think i'm stupid enough as to let myself be thrown into a battle where i didn't know my opponents strength? i've been hiding in the trees all this time and let my clone show me what i was up against."
Zeke: "Hn, well it seems someone has brains, unlike some of those losers down there."
You: "Your the only loser here Zeke. and from the sounds of what the others have been saying and behaving like, your bad news and shouldn't be here."
Zeke: "Oh you think so? you think so low of someone you don't even know?"
You: "I believe my friends."
Zeke turned around to face you and your kunai was now aimed at his chest instead of his back. he didn't even seem to notice it was there as he held a soft smile on his face.
'How can evil have a smile like that? hes like a kid.'
Zeke grinned even more and this confused you. you shouldn't have let your guard down though as he grabbed ahold of your wrist. you couldn't move it at all. soon it was crushed so tight you had to let go of the kunai. once you let go Zeke pulled you towards him so you could feel his breath on your face. he had a smirk on his face and your eyes were wide.
'Hes gunna kill me!'
He raised his hand, but before he could do anything Rona slashed at him with his Halberd causing him to jump back. Yoh then sent an attack at him and it looked like it was a direct hit.
You: "You got him!"
Zeke: Guess again."
He jumped from the cloud of smoke and landed on his spirit.
Zeke: "I will be back Yoh, and i will destroy you for what you did to me. i'll get you and your friends. you'll feel pain like you never has before."
He eyed everyone and when his gaze landed on you, you gulped hard as his eyes lingered for longer then necessary. then with a smirk, he vanished in a flash of fire. you covered your face from the heat and when you looked he was gone. jumping from the roof you were pounced on by an over-reactive Trey.
Trey: "OMG! i thought he was going to kill you!"
You: "You aren't the only one."
Ryo: "You did a good thing with the fake you. that was smart."
You: "It's a shadow clone. i mastered it a long time ago. now come here Ryo."
He walked over to you and you took a hold of his wounded arm. you focused your energy and placed your hand over the gash. slowly blue energy flowed from your hand and healed his arm.
Ryo: "It feels good as new! thank you my princess."
You: "No problem."
Yoh: "Gabriella."
You: "Yeah."
Yoh: "I'm really glad your okay. just be more careful around Zeke. i dont want you to get involved and get hurt."
You: "Dont worry, i'll be okay. 'Never give up and never give in' that's my shinobi way."
