pain without love
Alana and Mel stood side by side outside the Winchester's door. Mel knocked loudly as Alana overlooked the Missing Person Poster.
Dean answered the door, his hair in a mess. "What?" he asked his voice whiny.
"Good morning sunshine," Alana said laughing.
Dean wiped the sleep out of his eyes and stretched. "Yeah, we don't need any room service."
"Wow some-one's a genius in the morning," Mel snickered.
"Okay asshole," Alana said stepping up, "Bobby sent us to help you, now either you can stand their, or the four of us can discuss this," Alana said holding up the poster.
Dean ripped it out of her hands, and stepped back into the room, allowing Mel and Alana to enter.
"Sammy," Dean said loudly.
Sam woke up startled. "What?!" he nearly shouted.
"Get up," Dean demanded. Dean then turned to Alana. "When did this happen?" he asked.
"Last night, he was reported missing at 5 this morning," Alana said, her arms folded across her chest.
Sam stood up from the bed, his chest bare. He smiled at Mel, noticing she wasn't in conversation with Dean and Alana.
"Hi," Sam said grabbing his sweatshirt off the chair.
"Hi," Mel smiled.
"So are you ladies our help?" Sam asked.
Mel nodded. "Name's Mel, and that," she pointed to Alana, "would be Alana."
Sam smiled again. "Nice to meet you, I'm Sam, and my older brother Dean, "he said pointing to his brother, who was in a deep conversation with Alana.
"So, have either of you found anything?" Mel asked scratching her tattoo.
"Dean claims he has, but I haven't," Sam stated sitting in the chair, and gesturing for Mel to sit down in the chair across from him.
"So, you don't believe there is a vampire coven here?" Mel asked. She thought it was amazing how much information she'd obtained from Bobby in the little time they'd talked.
"Once I find something, then I will," Sam stated, then rose his eyebrows at her. "How long have you been hunting?"
Mel laughed then became serious. "Two days."
Sam laughed with a grin. "You're joking right?"
Mel frowned and shook head. "No."
Sam shrugged. "I guess Dean and I can teach you the main points."
Mel smiled. "Sounds good."
Alana sighed. "I"m not sure where they meet, but I have an idea."
"Hey Sammy!" Dean said loudly.
"What?" Sam asked.
"Do you have a date tonight?" Dean asked.
Sam nodded. "Yeah."
"Sorry Sammy, but you need to do a little research," Dean said with a smile.
Alana eyed up Sam curiously, he was a sort of muscular guy, tall and stature. He was perfect from head to toe, except for the fact that he had a little toy he was playing with.
Alana's eyes met Mel's, and Mel was smiling widely. Alana pointed to herself and mounted unnoticeable. 'He's mine.'
Mel nodded and grinned.
"Dean, I"m not going to do work when I'm out with Sarah," Sam stated.
"When are you leaving?" Dean asked looking past Sam and to Mel.
"I don't know," Sam shrugged. "I figured we'd go to a movie then out to dinner.
"Hey Lana," Mel interrupted Dean's reply, "can you come here?"
Alana nodded and walked over to the table.
"I have a feeling I know where this coven is," Mel said, her eyes glittering with worry.
Mel's head began to store her heartbeat, and her eyes began to slowly close shut. IN the distance she could hear Alana, but no new noises were filling her ears. She was following someone toward an underground warehouse, she could see the stairs that led down to a rickety door.
Once in side the door, a group of vampires stood, teeth extended, and ready for attack. As the man was beginning to go into trance, Mel snapped out of her own.
Mel awoke with Dean hovering over her. Somehow she'd gone from sitting in the chair to laying on the bed.
"Holy shit," Mel gasped.
"Honey, what did you see?" Alana asked sitting down beside her.
"Get me a piece of paper," Mel said quickly.
Sam grabbed the pen and paper from the table and quick handed it to Mel. She drew what she'd seen with exact detail.
"This is what I saw," Mel said setting the drawing in front of herself.
"We need to go out tonight," Alana said picking up the picture carefully.
Mel nodded in agreement. "I want to go alone."
Dean shook his head. "You're not going alone. You're a new hunter, you'll get into things you shouldn't be in."
"Mel, he's right," Alana stated.
Mel sighed, "Fine."
"You guys can have fun," Sam said. "If you don't mind I'm going to get ready, and find something else to do."
Once Sam was in the shower, Dean turned and smiled.
"What?" Mel asked.
Dean looked at Mel and grinned. "Would you, my dear, ever consider being delicious bait?"
"What, for a wild man like you or a coven of vampires?" Mel asked with a playful smile.
Dean turned to Alana and whispered, "She's a spitfire."
Alana laughed. "You got that right."
Dean smiled at Mel. "Well Ms. Mel, is it Melissa or Melanie?"
"Melissa," Mel replied.
"Okay Ms. Melissa, you could I suppose do both if you're up for the challenge," Dean said with his horny grin.
Mel rolled her eyes. "Dean, I'd love to be bait for you, but I'm going to go with the bloodsuckers tonight."
Alana snorted loudly, making Mel and Dean laugh. Alana caught her breath and said to Mel, "Good choice."
"Anyway," Dean said. "I was thinking that we could try to find this place," he gestured toward the drawing, "and if the vampires aren't there then no bait, and if there is, Mel will be bait."
"Isn't Sam supposedly dating a vampire?" Mel asked.
"Bobby tell you?" Dean asked.
Mel nodded.
"Well from what I've noticed she is. The things she does are inhuman," Dean stated.
"Leans into him?" Alana asked, her voice worried.
Dean nodded. "Yeah."
"We need to move fast, otherwise your brother's a dead man," Alana said, her blue eyes saddened.
