The next morning was full of hyperactive teenagers and everyone doing jumping jacks backstage. I don't know why I was participating, but if it gave them motivation, then what the heck? Today was going to be the filming for Miley's upcoming 3-D movie. It's basically of one whole concert and some behind the scenes clips. I was to make sure I didn't get in the way of Miley the whole day.
"Hey, guys. You think I could get you to come in to see Miley now?" One of the directors asked. They agreed and walked onto the stage, Miley running straight for the boys and, surprisingly, giving me one. The cameras were still rolling, the lenses straight on me. Was I even supposed to be in the movie? Maybe they'll cut it out, did you see the way Miley pushed Joe aside? Or was that just me and my jealousy?
Of course not. Because I'm not jealous.
"Hey! You stole that move from me! Mom!" Miley whined, watching as Joe, perfectly, lifted back up the microphone stand. She continued complaining for a few more minutes until she calmed down. Joe laughed at my annoyed face and practiced his microphone stand trick.
I sat on one of the bigger amps, just watching them practice for "We Got The Party." I liked the song, it was catchy. The rehearsals went on for about another hour or so until all the crew men had to start setting up all the bigger equipment on to the stage. I wanted to help because I was bored, but one of the men said no. So basically I sulked for a few hours under lock-down, sluggishly playing Guitar Hero II with Kevin. This was so much fun. I pressed the green tab, then the red one, missing a double green and red one, then barely hitting a blue tab.
"You alright there, Holly? You're on easy," Kevin said, quickly looking at me before giving his full attention to the small television screen. "Because I know what level you're really supposed to be on." Did I really look depressed? I just wanted to help all the cool muscle men bring stuff into the stadium. How difficult was that? Like, I could have just held up a hand and, of course I would be pretending, tried to help lift it with as much muscle power I could muster. I wasn't that weak.
Actually, I am that weak. But, come on, the more help, the faster. Right?
I glared at the screen and pressed the start button, returning to the menu and switching myself to a harder level. Kevin wanted a challenge, so I'll give him a challenge. Bring it on, Jonas boy.
Goodnight && Goodbye;
"So I was like, 'Hurry! Press the pedal, the bears are coming!' And then Kevin's like, 'What are you talking about, Joe? We're not in Canada anymore.'" Joe said, emphasizing his joke with a bunch of hand motions. We kind of all just sat there, staring at him blankly. It wasn't funny. "Hey, all I'm trying to do is try make Holly happy, okay?" He explained.
Well, isn't that sweet.
Another man came in, warning us that the boys were to be on stage in ten minutes. It was show time, they were going to be recorded and viewed by a million people everywhere. It was going to be a phenomenon. "This is it, boys! Our time to shine!" Like they always would.
I watched them attempt more push ups and jumping jacks, Joe readying his vocal chords for the big show. Kevin and Nick began strumming the intros for each song, walking around the room. They were all ready for this.
"Come on, boys, five minutes. Get out here!"
They ran out, one by one, Denise waiting by the curtain. Everyone huddled together, praying, anything. Tonight was it, a step closer to gaining even more fans. A chance they would only probably get once. It was time. The lights dimmed, the Jonas Brothers symbol appearing on every box hanging from the ceiling. The intro for When You Look Me In The Eyes on the piano awoken a new wave of screams and cheers.
Finishing the song, it was time for their last song of the day. Year 3000. Nick began with a guitar and half way through, gave it to one of the crew men. They were all heading down the short cat walk, touching any girl's hand they could reach for about a second and going on to the next girl. It was the end of the song, and they were bowing.
Rest in the results;
Okay, so how yummy do these boys look in tuxedos?! (:
"Okay, so how amazing was that?!" Kevin yelled. Everyone replied with a cheer, tons of high-fives going around. We were back in the tour bus, eating Taco Bell, a random movie playing in the background. The whole bus was so wide awake, we didn't sleep until about three in the morning. There was no concert tomorrow. So for the whole day, we would pretty much just chill and do whatever.
Which was good for me, because after last night, I needed all the energy I could get.
