When It All Comes Crashing Down pt3

"Oh I'm so glad you guys are here. I was afraid I was gonna have to sit in here by myself until Pete's done."
Ashlee said relieved.
"That would suck." Crystal said as they finally moved into the room.
The girls sat down on the chairs that was next to the couch and they all sat there in silence for a few minutes.
Then Ashlee suddenly said,
"We're having a party tonight at Pete's house.You both have to come."
Chasity sat there for a minutes thinking 'no way!' but if she kept avoiding everything that had to do with
Pete and Ashlee, Pete would eventually figure it out and Chasity couldn't risk that.
"Yeah I'll be there." Chasity said faking a happy voice.
Crystal looked over at Chas confused.
"Well I guess I'll be there. I mean I'm sure Charlie will want to go." Crystal said.
"Awesome, I mean it's not complete without you guys there ya know. I love thinking of us all as a big family."
Ashlee squealed.
Chasity suddenly gagged but she played it off as a cough.
"Are you okay?" Ashlee asked concerned.
"Oh yeah fine." She said and then said under her breath, "I just threw up in my mouth a little bit."
Then Dirty came walking in the room and saw the three girls and then suddenly said,
"You guys I need some help. Chasity, Crystal will you come with me please?"
"Yeah." Crystal said standing up.
"Sure." Chasity said practically jumping out of her seat.
The three of them left the room and halfway down the hallway Chasity asked,
"What do you need help with Dirty?"
"Nothing, I just thought I'd get you guys out of there. I'm not that heartless to leave you in there with her."
Dirty said smiling at Chasity.
"You're the best big bro. I owe you." Chasity said.
"Yeah that was pretty smooth." Crystal said.
"I know I'm so good." Dirty said.
Then they all laughed.
****The three of them just wandered around the arena until it was time for the show. Then they headed
to the dressing room and hung out with the guys until they went on stage. Then they were on the side of the
stage.
After the show everyone went back to their houses to get ready for the party.
Chasity really could care less about this party she just kept skinny jeans on and put a nice top on and her favorite
pair of black stillettos. She kept telling herself that she just had to make it through the night. That's all. She had
to make sure she was seen at the party and she'd be good.
Again she drove with Charlie and Crystal.That was her way of forcing herself to go to the party.
When they got there Chasity went in and said hello to everyone. But after a few minutes she felt like something
was different. Like there was this space, this invisible wall between her and these people who used to be like her
family. She couldn't take it she had to get out of there.She went to the glass door that was right off the kitchen
to where the porch was and went and sat down on the top step. She went and sat down and took a deep breath.
'What's wrong with me. I have to keep it together. Pull it together Chasity! Not here! Not now!' She repeated to
herself over and over in her head.
She sat there for a few minutes just thinking. Then she heard the glass door open behind her. She glanced up to
see Brendon's smiling face.
"Not having so much fun at the party, eh?" He said sitting down next to her.
"No not really." Chasity said.
Brendon and Chasity have been close friends since Pete had signed Panic! At The Disco to his record label Decaydance.
Brendon was the only other person besides Crystal that knew how Chasity really felt.
"How are you holding up?" Brendon asked concerned.
"Honestly?" Chasity asked.
"Yes honestly." Brendon said.
"I'm not. I don't know how much longer I can take this. I mean it would probably be a lot better if Ashlee didn't
want to be like my best friend. I just can't help but think that it's gonna be like this for the rest of the time I work
for them. Like it will never get better." Chasity confessed.
"No, it will get better I promise. Once the sting is gone it will be fine. Honestly I don't think Pete deserves you." Brendon
said.
Chasity let out a laugh.
"Bren I think you've got that a little backwards." She said.
"No I don't. Chasity you're amazing, any man would kill to be with you. He takes you for granted. He doesn't even
realize what he's had in his reach all this time. You deserve better. You need a man that will treat you right and cherish
you and I don't think Pete is the man for you if he hasn't come to that conclusion by now." Brendon said genuinely.
"Thanks Bren." Chasity said but then she looked down at the stair she wasn't so sure if was Brendon had just said
was true. She hadn't even dated in like forever she was always too busy with work and that never bothered her before
because she loved the guys and she was content with just being with them but now she was afraid that what she would
be doing forever now.
While she thinking all of these morbid thoughts that scared the hell out of her, tears had welled up in her eyes and
had just begun to flow over and run down her cheek.
Brendon had noticed and reached over to lift her chin up so she was looking him in the eyes.
"Hey, it's gonna be ok. Don't cry, I hate when such a beauty cries." He said.
She smiled then he moved closer to her and slowly touched his lips to hers.
To Chasity surprise it felt right and she suddenly realized how easy it was to be with him and how comfortable
she was with him. Suddenly it all made sense.
"I'm sorry I probably shouldn't have done that." Brendon said quickly looking down.
"Don't apologize." She said, "Actually I'm glad you did that." with a smile on her face.
"Well I know you really don't want to be here so do you wanna get out of here?" Brendon asked.
"Yes, I do but I have to go tell Crystal because I came with her." Chasity said standing up.
"Alright yeah I better tell Pete that I'm leaving." Brendon said also standing up.
They both went inside and then went separate ways in search of Crystal and Pete.
Finally Chas found Crystal in by the counter making drinks with Charlie and Dirty.
"Hey sis I'm leaving." Chas said.
"But you drove with us." Crystal confused.
"Yeah, I got a ride." Chasity explained.
"Oh Chas are you okay?" Crystal asked concered.
"Actually I am okay, now that is." Chasity said and then she walked away before Crystal could get anymore info from
her.
She met up with Brendon in the living room. He had just said goodbye to Pete and Ashlee. Then he turned towards
Chasity and smiled as he began walking back towards her.
"Ready to go?" Brendon asked when he reached her.
"Yep." Chasity said smiling back at him.
As they walked to Brendon's car Chasity realized she felt lighter, happier like a weight had been lifted from her.
She was very happy that she had Brendon to turn to.
When they got to the car Brendon opened the passengar door for Chasity. She smiled and climbed in. Brendon
closed the door behind her and then he got in on the driver's side.
"So where do you wanna go?" Brendon asked.
"I don't know." Chas replied.
"Are you hungry?" Brendon asked with a smirk.
"Yeah a bit." Chasity said.
"Okay then let's go get something to eat." Brendon said.
"Okay." She said then they sat in silence for a minute before Chas said,
"Thanks Brendon. I mean for real, you have been there for me through a lot."
"No problem, it's what I'm here for. Plus you've always been there for me." Brendon said.
They went to a little diner and had a really good time. Then they drove to Chasity's
house and decided to take a walk. So they walked over to the bike path that was a few blocks from
Chasity's house. Finally at about 10:30 they decided to end their night because Chasity had to
leave soon for the show. Brendon walked Chasity back to her house. They said their goodbyes and
Brendon gave Chas another simple kiss before he left.Chasity went inside and went into the kitchen
and grabbed a pepsi out of the fridge.Then went and sat down in the living room and turned on the tv.
She had a half an hour before she had to leave because the guys had to perform on the Carson Daly show.
A few minutes later Crystal and Charlie came walking in the front door.
"Hey sis." Crystal said going to sit next to Chas.
"Hey Chas, I gotta change before we go." Charlie said as he walked into Crystal's room.
"Why don't you just have him move in here already?" Chasity said rolling her eyes.
"I'm not sure if we want to take that step yet." Crystal said.
"Ok, whatever." Chas said with a laugh.
"So this is what you left the party for? To watch tv by yourself? Who gave you a ride home?" Crystal asked.
"Brendon." Chasity said simply.
"Oh ok." Crystal said.
Chasity was going to tell her about her and Brendon but hen she realized she really didn't know what her and
Brendon were or what they were doing exactly.
