Everything We're Not [A Hiei Story] Prologue: Meeting the Six of Us

This is me:

My name is Rayne Lorine. (Pronounced Lor-ene). Weird I know, but I like my name.
I look like I'm 17 years young, but in fact I am 127. I've been walking the face of this planet for a long time.
I'm infact a mix between a Vampire and Demon, so I have odd powers.
I have three sisters and two brothers. My parents actually died in the hands of another demon, and my siblings and I are out to get him.
We tried to get to our parents before they died so we can turn them, so we were vampires before them, but we were too late.
I think I am a fun person. Very outgoing, and nice, and protective with the ones I love. Of course, I also have my evil moments, but that's only if it's really called for! I'm pretty proud of how I turned out. I'm not a real big goth person either, I love colors, in fact! And Black is just boring, but eh. I do wear it, too.
My eyes change colors with my moods, and it freaks people out, too, sometimes. When I'm neutral though, they stay a strawberry-peach color.
My hair is shoulder length, my pride, and a light strawberry color. I love my hair. (My hair is how you see in the picture of course) =) Nothing odd with it.
Let's move on to my family though, shall we? I smiled.

This is my first sister, and my other sisters, but I will describe them soon.

My first sister is in fact the one in the middle. She is the one with the short, perfect, black hair with an orange headband stuck in there.
She is really smart, and gets worked up over her studies a lot. She is caring too though and will go to any extreme to take care of all of us.
She isn't always serious though. In fact, she can be one of the weirdest people you will ever meet. Her eyes are brown, and they stay brown. She is a vampire with a little mix of demon in her, but not by much. Actually, I'm the only child of the family with the most demon in me, my siblings all got less than 20%. How weird because we never have figured out why that is, since my parents were 100% demons.
Anywho, back to my sister, her name is Selene Lorine.
She is actually 127, but in reality, she is 17 years old. She was happily in love until she had to fake her death. I feel for her.
She blames herself the most for not being able to save our parents. But, no one else blames her.
She hides it well though. She's a fun, nice, polite person with saddness buried deep in her eyes and soul.
None of us know how to help her. Just to hope, that someday she will talk again. She's a selective mute.

Here is my year older sister:

She is the one on the left. She has silver, short, boy hair and gold eyes. I think she looks more like a vampire than the rest of us.
But that's just my opinion.
She is 128 in our years, but only 18 in human years.
She sees the world to be dull and boring and pointless, and I think that if it weren't for us being here, she would have ended her life a long time ago.
She wears a lot of dark colors and hates meeting new people. A lot of empty emotions and monotone inside of her.
But we never fail to include her on everything we do, whether she agrees or not.
Her name is Katrina Lorine.
Everyone usually calls her Kady though (Pronounced: Katie, just spelled differently).
We all know, that even though she won't admit it, she will go the distance to keep us all safe.

Our last sister,

The one on the right. She's sort of sad as well, but it's only when the subject is brought up.
Other than that, she loves everyone! New people even! She's very fun to be around, the more popular of the four of us girls.
Once someone meets her, they automatically fall in love with her. Guys are always falling for her, too. She is also the more pretty, but don't let my sisters know I think that, they'll kill me.
Her hair is a rusty, bronze-light, light red color. It's hard to describe really, since it's such an off color, but eh. And her eyes are a lovely grey color. Like me, her eyes change with her mood. Except hers are lighter while mine are more accurate.
She is younger than me by a year. So, while I'm 127 in demon/vampire years, she is 126. Which also makes her to be 16 years old.
She likes to wear dresses a lot. None of us know why, but either way, it's very cute on her.
Her name is Violet Lorine. In my family and to the public eye, she is the most adored.

So, I'm almost done, can you believe it!? Haha, sorry, I really get into my family when I talk about them. This is my older brother:

Beautiful isn't he? Hehe, in a sisterly way I guess. Girls are always glomping him. He makes fanclubs everywhere we move to.
His name is Damon Lorine. He hates our last name, says it's too girly for him. Boo hoo though, right? Haha, just kidding!
He has black hair, and he loves to have it in his eyes. Says it's sexier on him. Funny, right? Haha.
His eyes are piercing, crimson red. I like to talk to him though, oddly enough, he's very dependable.
He loves black and loves to dress all emo and stuff. I guess, it's not me, so why should I care right? I'm not one to judge.
He's laid-back, trustworthy, and caring of the ones he loves. Other than that, he's very distant and quiet.
He looks a lot like a vampire as well, due to how pale he is.
He is actually 127 years old, also. So 17 in human years. He is my age.
That's all I can say about him.

Now, for my last brother, this is him:

He's also good looking with a fanclub everywhere we go, just not as famous as Damon.
He's very friendly and polite. He always smells like flowers, too.
His hair is white and stops at his shoulders sort of. It's very layered. But it looks good nonetheless.
His eyes are piercing blue, but a gorgeous color just as much. He had pretty eyes.
I don't know the perfect words to describe him. He is just too perfect. He likes his hat though, he wears it everywhere, even in school!
He just ignores the teachers drone on to him about the rules. It's quite amusing to watch.
His name is Jasper Lorine. He's trustworthy as well, and just listens when you talk, only answers when needed.
He is in fact, 17 as well, making him 127 to us. It's neat how we're all very close in age.

So odd as we are, we are a big family with no parents, moving to Japan tomorrow.
It's going to be different, since we lived in Cold Bay, Alaska and other U.S. states for the most part of our lives, but eh, what could go wrong?
We're a close family, very protective, and original. We love to draw attention to ourselves and do some of the wackiest things. We're coming up with a plan now, in fact.
On our big entrance of our new school Monday. Woo-Hoo!! I'm actually excited, sad no?
