Will You Fall For An Angel, Demon, Werewolf, or Vampire? Part 28

"You know the rules while we're out." Said the brown haired woman with sky blue eyes. "Nobody is allowed in the house."
Why didn't they trust him?
The father, also a brunette, handed her a coat as theyleft.
They were right not to trust him. Already there was a girl with him in the house. A beautiful girl with black hair that fell across her shouler like a snake. The last think he remembered though was her sly smile filled with deceit and a narcotic smell that put him right to sleep.
"Kyle!" The voice of his mother seemed so distant.
"Kyle!" It sounded like she was in pain.
"Kyle!" He couldn't wake up to reach her.
"Kyle!" This time he shot up nearly hitting the Demon who was leaning in trying to wake him up.
Corren jumped back. "Jesus! I called your name four times! You're a heavy sleeper."
Kyle already knew why Corren was complning. "I'm sorry. I fell asleep on the couch."
"Well we need groceries!"
"I'll take _____ to the market. She hasn't been out in a while." Kyle replied.
He walked up to your room where he found you out on the balcony.
"Would you like to accompany me to the market?" He asked in his rich accent.
You turned to him smiling a warm smile. "Ofcourse."
It was warm out so you decided to dress in your spring attire which was...




You followed Kyle downstairs into the garage. You hadn't thought much of the garage until now. Why did they have a garage? Obviously they could travel fine by flight.
Kyle turned to you and smiled. "These cars are for our outings when we must go into a mortal area. The market place is filled with mortals so I must use this."
You nodded your head seeming to understand.
The two of you drove off for sometime. The car Kyle had chose to ride in was a convertible so the wind ruffled your hair as he drove. Soon you reached a small town with an outdoor market place.
He parked the car and you got out to help gather groceries. Kyle picked a lot of sweets and keeping Corren in mind you made sure to grab peppers and other spices.
The two of you decided to take a lunch break in a small cafe. It was a cute little place with small tables outside on a small porch with metal railings that twisted in intricate designs. The chairs also had similar designs.
You had just gotten into your meal when you heard screams and a crash nearby that sent you flying through the glass in the cafe. Lucky for you Kyle covered you up while you had went flying.
You peeked out the window only to see Elijah tormenting the mortals. Obviously he was unaware of your presence. Already many had died.
Dammit! Why can't they leave me alone?
Those poor people!
Maybe if I leave him alone he won't bother with me.
We have to do something!
You jumped up to face Elijah. Before Kyle could grab you you were already outside ready to fight.
Elijah looked at you with an amused grin. "Fancy meeting you here."
Your bow appeared and you aimed it at him. But before you could fire anything he was behind you. Or atleast until Kyle shot him out of the way with a beam of light.
Elijah fell to the ground. "Hmm. Two against one doesn't seem like fair odds. Well I've already done what I've come here to do. These people are dead and I am happy." He disappeared but his laughter still echoed in your mind.
Why does this amuse him? *Cries*
Why must others suffer for the amusement of one man?
Time to go to work. At least they'll become Angels.
GET BACK HERE COWARD!
You collapsed to your knees in tears. "Why?" You cried.
Kyle knelt down beside you. "A lot of Demons do this kind of thing. That's one of the reasons this war is still going in the first place."
You looked up at him with tears streaking your cheeks. "If we stop them, will it all go away?"
Kyle shook his head. "People will die sometimes, Demons or no Demons. Some humans even hurt themselves. They have wars and commit mass genocide. People die and there is nothing we can do."
You had known about wars but never actually thought about the death that accompanied them.
Soon Angela appeared beside you and with her help you managed to send all of the souls to Heaven.
Kyle put a hand on your shoulder. "They'll be reborn as Angels and the cycle will begin again. Don't worry."
You turned to him with a small smile.
People die... It sucks but I can't do anything about it.
Atleast I know they are going to a better place. It's still sad to watch them go.
Stupid humans always causing problems for themselves. It could be so much better.
No! I want to put an end to this suffering! I wish I could do more.
You returned home with the groceries. Corren stood in the door way waiting for you.
"Angela tells me that you learned a valuable lesson today." He takes the bags from your hands. "I'm sorry you had to see that but you'd have seen it sometime anyways." He walked into the kitchen.
As you watched him go you thought it strange that even though he was a Demon, he didn't participate in demonic behavior like the others.
You turned to Kyle. "Are there more Demons like Corren?"
He nodded. "Not all Demons go around destroying villages but the ones that don't are considered outcasts." He smiled. "Some people think of all of these negative attributes for certain races but just because they are that race doesn't man they have to have those kinds of features. You could be an Angel like Demon was and still be evil. I suppose it all depends on your heart."
That's true. Kyle is so wise.
Even though Corren seems bad ass, he's actually good compared to other Demons.
Alex is kind of like that too.
I guess it's kind of like Riley and the rest of the vampires. I don't know if he can reform them though.

You and Kyle had quite the adventure today. It sucks that people have to die but that's life and you will get used to it soon enough but you don't have to face it alone. Kyle will be there for you.

Of course Corren isn't like other Demons. He keeps falling for Angels like you. It's a good thing he's on your side. Can you imagine loving someone that you can't love because he's evil?

The world is a cruel place but Alex is more than willing to face it with you. He'll always be by your side because he loves you so much.

Hopefully as King, Riley can reform the vampires so that they stop slaughtering humans. Maybe that will bring some peace to the world. Regardless there'll probably be some vampires who are unwilling to reform and will continue to attack humans. Riley will protect you from them.
