Amnesia ~{Hatake Kakashi}~ Scroll 5

"Kakashi give that back! I need it!" I cried, trying to get my medicine pouch back. He got so fed up with me looking in it, he ended up taking it.
"Will you stop looking?" He asked.
"Yes! Just give me my medicine pack!" He tossed it back to me and I caught it easily, afraid something might break. I looked down long enough to tied it back on, and noticed a water puddle on the ground below me. I looked at it for a moment, unaware that Kakashi was watching me.
"Coming?" He asked. I nodded and run after them, casting one last glance at the puddle.
"What?!" I cried out as chains wrapped around my arms, the chains shooting out from the puddle. Another set wrapped around Kakashi, tearing him apart. "No! Kakashi!" I screamed, struggling to get away.
"Kakashi-sensei!" Sakura and Naruto cried. I felt the chains around me loosen and I jumped away, throwing kunai and shuriken at the ninja that attacked me. I gasped when I noticed one behind Naruto, who stood frozen.
"Naruto! Duck!" I screamed. He hit the deck just as I threw a couple of kunai at the ninja. At the same time Sasuke threw a shuriken and catches their chains, my kunai sticking in the middle of the shuriken. Sasuke landed on two ninjas arms, and kicked them in the face, breaking their chains off of the metal guards on their arms. The Kirigakure ninjas jump away and ran back, one towards Naruto and the other towards Sakura and Tazuna.
"Sasuke get Sakura!" I yelled. I jumped in front of the frozen Naruto and kick the guy flying at us hard in the stomach, sending him flying, but his nails rake against my leg painfully. I cried out slightly in pain, my eyes watering.
"Kakashi-sensei!" I heard Sakura cry, the surprise in her voice causing me to turn around quickly to see Kakashi clutching onto the other ninja.
"Kakashi..." I muttered, my eyes wide and my heart throbbing.
"Aira bring that guy over here," Kakashi ordered. I nodded hesitantly and ran over to the unconscious man, dragging him over to Kakashi, a slight limp to my walk as I moved over to him. "Are you ok?" He asked in an undertone. I nodded and bent down, bringing out my medicine pack. I grab the disinfectant spray, spray it on, and tie my leg up.
"Naruto come here. That guy got your hand too," I said. Naruto didn't move.
"Hey," Sasuke said, getting Naruto's attention. "Are you hurt? Mr. Scaredy Cat."
"Sasuke!" Naruto screamed.
"Naruto!" Kakashi snapped. "There is poison in this guys nails. We need to get it out," He said. He turned to Tazuna. "And Tazuna-san, I need to talk to you."
"Huh! W- What?"
"I think Kakashi's right. He told me this was a 'C' ranked mission, but these morons here that attacked us seem to be stronger than that..." I said quietly. Tazuna sighed, looking defeated. I looked at Kakashi and help him tie the two ninja up to a tree.
"These two are Chuunin level of the Village Hidden in the Mist," Kakashi said. I shudder, remembering the village all too well.
"How were you able to detect us?" One of the two men asked as he slowly woke up.
"May I, Kakashi?" I asked, stepping forward. He nodded, waving a hand towards me. "Thanks," I said, smiling evilly. I turned to the men, my face serious. "Your first downfall was the water puddle. When I noticed it, I wondered why there would be a puddle when it hasn't rained for days."
"Thats right. So when I noticed it, I used a replacement jutsu to see what would happen," Kakashi said.
"So why did you let the kids fight?" Tazuna asked.
"I wanted to see who their target was."
"W- What do you mean?" Tazuna asked Kakashi warily.
"Basically, were you the target of their attack, or someone in my ninja group? It could have just as easily been Aira as it was you," Kakashi said. Tazuna looked past Kakashi at me suspiciously, but said nothing to me or to Kakashi about me. When he didnt speak, Kakashi went on. "Since we didn't hear anything of you being targeted, I had to make sure. Your request was to protect you from armed men like robbers or gangs, not ninjas from another village. This mission is above 'B' rank. Our job was to guard you until you completed the bridge. If ninja were our enemy, the mission would have been expensive. A 'B' rank mission is very expensive, isn't Tazuna-san. That's why you said it was a 'C' rank, isn't it?"
"This is way out of our league! Let's just quit!" Sakura said. I looked back at her, waiting for her to continue. "Besides we need anesthesia for Naruto's hand too."
"I have that with me, Sakura," I said. "And we can't just quit either. This man paid for our protection. We can't just give up on him now."
"This is a burden... Aira we need a doctor, I'm sure you know that. Let's go back to the village for Naruto," Kakashi said.
I started to say something, but Narutos angry voice stopped me. "No!" He yelled. I turn and look at him, only to see him plunge a kunai in his hand, causing me to gasp at all the blood that poured from his hand. "Why am I so different... Why am I always... Damn it!"
"Naruto what are you doing?" I gasped, running to him. He stared back at me, his eyes filled with hatred at himself for him freezing up, and determination for going on and protecting anyone he can. I took a step back from him to let him speak I was too speechless just from the determined look in his bright blue eyes.
"I should be stronger. I train everyday; I've completed tons of missions. I'll never do something that will require help from others. I'm never going to be frightened and back out of things. And I'm not going to lose to Sasuke or Aira. I vow that to this pain in my left hand. I will protect the old man with this kunai!" Naruto stopped his speech long enough to turn to everyone, who was staring on in shocked silence. "This mission is still on!" Naruto said.
"Naruto it's great that you took the poison out, but now you could bleed to death," Kakashi said.
"Oh be quiet Kakashi. I'm here and I won't let that happen to one of my team members!" I snapped at the silver haired man. I turned to Naruto, who was freaking out and ignored Kakashi who walked over and took Naruto's wounded hand. I pushed Kakashi out of the way, not noticing his shocked expression until I looked down at Naruto's hand. It's healing already?! How?! I thought, eyes wide as I looked at Naruto's hand.
"What's wrong Aira-chan?! Am I going to die?!" Naruto cried.
I soften my expression and smile at him. "No Naruto. You aren't going to die. Now hold still so I can put this on," I said, pulling out the disinfectant spray. I spray his hand and he winced, trying to pull his hand back. I grabbed his wrist tightly so he couldn't get away and wrapped his hand up with my free one. "There. It should heal soon, Naruto."
"Ok! Thank you Aira!" Naruto said. He walked off with his hands behind his head and I stood up straight and fixed my gaze onto Kakashi.
"You have a few things to explain to me Kakashi," I said, fixing him with a glare. He fidgeted slightly and smiled, but I raise an eyebrow at him. "Kakashi why is it that Naruto can heal quicker than a normal human? What makes him so special? And don't lie to me because I know when you lie."
Kakashi sighed. "Well the shy part of you is gone..." He said.
"Kakashi," I snapped warningly.
"Ok, ok. Look, I can't tell you here," Kakashi whispered in an undertone, looking at his team and Tazuna.
"You mean he doesn't know?!" I asked in a harsh whisper.
Kakashi shook his head. "None of the genin know. Most of the Jounin and some parents know, but not all of them." Kakashi sighed. "I'll tell you when we get a chance to talk privately. Since your acting as a medical ninja you need to know." He looked at me for a moment longer before turning and walking to Tazuna. "Now why don't we discuss the rest of your story, Tazuna-san." I heard him say. I fall to my butt on the ground and pull out my medicine pack. We had just started off on our journey, and already I was nearly out of disinfectant spray.
"This isn't good," I mumbled to myself.
"What's not good?"
Rest in results
I looked up to see Sasuke standing over me, staring down at the medicine pack.
"I'm nearly out of disinfectant spray. I have some cream, but its a small amount. And my bandages are nearly gone as well. If this mission gets any worse, I'll be out of supplies before we even reach our destination." I sighed, and zipped the bag up and tie it back around my waist. I stood up, looking down at Sasuke. "And the worst part is, is that I have no money to buy anything else. The guy at the last shop gave me everything for free..." I sighed again.
"If we need it I'll buy it," Sasuke said. I raised an eyebrow at him. "I have the money, and we are going to need the medicine." He looked away and I smiled.
"Ok. Thanks Sasuke," I said, standing. I ruffled his hair and he batted my hand away, glaring, but said nothing. I walked over to the group and stood next to Sakura.
"Aira-chan what's wrong? You look worried," Sakura said. I smiled at her.
"It's nothing Sakura. I just have a bad feeling about this mission is all," I told her. She shrugged and didn't press the situation any further, for which I was glad. The last thing I need to do is needlessly worry my teammates. And since I'm the oldest, I need to protect them if Kakashi were to... To fail...
