"Aira-chan! Over here!" Sakura called, waving me over to her. I walked over to her and looked at the dress she was holding. It had been a couple of days since training with Kakashis team, and Sakura and I had sort of become friends.
Well as close as you could get to someone with pink hair and the most annoying voice
"That's beautiful Sakura, but what would I do with it?" I asked her, breaking away from my thoughts. Sakura laughed.
"You remind me of someone. Hyuuga Hinata! You talk just like her, and you're as shy as her as well." Sakura laughed again. I didn't say anything, I just picked up the dress and pressed it against my body. "It's a pretty color! And blue is so pretty on you!" Sakura said happily, causing me to smile.
"I'll try it on if you want. But I can't buy it. I don't have the money," I told her and she shrugged. I walked back to the changing room and quickly changed, looking at myself in the mirror before I walked out, my face a light pink.
"Aira-chan you look beautiful!" Sakura said, clasping her hands together as she smiled at me.
"Well it is pretty..." I muttered, walking to the larger mirror so I could see myself better. "But look at this price! Sakura this should be illegal to have such an expensive dress!" I gasped, eyes wide as I held out the price tag. Over 200 ryu. I thought I was going to have a heart attack! "I'm going to go put it up before they make me pay for just trying it on..." I mumbled crossly, and rushed past her. I walked back into the changing room and slipped off the dress, sliding my blue shirt back on and pulled my pants back up. When I stepped out I place the dress back on the rack and looked around for Sakura.
"Aira-chan!" I heard. I turned to see her standing near Kakashi, Naruto, and Sasuke. She waved to me, beckoning me to go over to them.
"Aira-chan! We have a mission!" Naruto said happily, jumping up and down. I look questioningly at Kakashi.
"The Hokage wishes to see you in private," He said and I nodded.
"Alright. I'll go over there and meet up with you guys later O.K.?" They nodded and I rushed off to the Hokage's office, wondering silently to myself what he wanted with me.
"Enter." I heard the old man say when I knocked on the door.
"Kakashi said you wanted to see me sir?" I asked as I walked in. I closed the door behind me and he waved me towards a chair. I walked over to it and sat down, looking at him curiously.
"Kakashi told me that you learned how to do a jutsu without even knowing what the hand sings or chakra was. Is that correct?" He asked.
"Y- Yes sir. Did I do something wrong?" I asked, suddenly afraid they would throw me out of Kohona.
"No Aira! That's a good thing. Also, since you seem to be way above genin level, I want to give you this. You will have to take the test with Kakashi's team, and you will be going on their mission tomorrow with them to the Land of the Waves." My face paled considerably.
"B- But t- thats the place t- that held me captive!" I cried and he nodded.
"I know, but you need the training. And it's only a simple protection mission from bandits. It won't be that bad Aira. I promise," He said. I gulped but nodded, taking the hitai-ate from his hand. I smiled at the shiny metal head plate and the soft fabric and rush around his desk, giving him a large hug.
"Thank you so much Hokage-sama! You won't regret this! I swear!" I said, my fear from going to Kirigakure washing away when he handed me the hitai-ate. He laughed, patting my back a couple of times.
"I know I won't. I have other business I have to tend to now. I'll see you again after your mission, Aira," He said. I smiled, nodding before rushing out with my hitai-ate clutched firmly in my hand. I run to Kakashi's house and I swung open the door, only to run into Kakashi himself.
"Oof!" I said, falling over. Kakashi, being as quick as he is, caught me before I hit the ground. I smiled up at him, my face turning pink. "S- Sorry Kakashi-sensei," I said happily, proud to be calling him my sensei.
"Sensei? What's this sensei business about?" He asked. I lifted up my hitai-ate, grinning brightly as the metal shone in my hand.
"I'm one of your students now! I'm a Genin of your village!" I chirped happily, beaming up at him. He smiled back at me and lifted me up, setting me back on my feet. Without thinking I threw my arms around his neck and smiled in happiness. "I was hoping he would let me be a ninja! I won't let you down! I won't let Hokage-sama down either!"
"Aira-chan! Is that you?" Sakura called from inside the house. I let go of the dazed Kakashi and run in the room, holding up my hitai-ate. "Aira-chan! That's awesome!" Sakura yelled, jumping to her feet.
"Hn." Is all Sasuke said, but when I look at him he smirked slightly.
"Go Aira-chan! We need to have a party!" Naruto yelled happily, jumping to his feet as he started planning the party in his head.
"No parties in my house," Kakashi snapped, walking in behind me. I smiled up at him again.
"It's ok. I don't need a party anyway. I'm happy enough as it is." I yawned deeply, stretching and tying the hitai-ate around my neck.
"Ok you three. Out," Kakashi said. "It's late and we have a mission early."
"Bye Aira-chan!" Sakura and Naruto called, waving.
"Bye guys! Bye moody Sasuke!" I called after the three of them as they walked away. Sasuke, of course, glared back at me but said nothing as he turned to go to his house. I turned to Kakashi, my face still broke out in a large grin. "I guess I'm going to go to bed. Good night Kakashi-sensei," I said happily.
"Good night Aira. And don't call me sensei! You're only three years younger than me!"
"Ok Kakashi-kun! Night." I yawned, walking up the stairs to my room. I pulled out a pair of shorts from the dresser and I slip off my shirt and pants and pull on the shorts. I laid down, seeing as it's warm enough to just sleep in my sports bra, and slowly drift off to sleep.

I sat up slowly, letting the blanket fall away from me as I rubbed my eyes after hearing a faint noise in my room.
"Aira it's time to get up," Kakashi said from the doorway. I nodded sleepily and stood up. I heard him moan and looked up at him quickly.
"Kakashi! You aren't suppose to be in here!" I yelped, picking up the nearest thing to throw at him. When it wasnt something I recognized by the feel of it I looked down. "Oh wow... It's... It's beautiful Kakashi..." I muttered, looking at the beautiful katana in my hand. I held it up to get a better look at it. The sheath and the hilt are both the same crimson color, and the sheath had rubies embedded in it, making the sheath glitter beautifully. "Kakashi this had to have cost a fortune!" I gasped, looking at him with wide eyes.
"It was nothing Aira. Now hurry up and get dressed so we can leave. I'll have breakfast done soon," Kakashi said, his back to me. I nodded and walked to my dresser as he left.
"Hmm... Let's wear... This!" I say happily, pulling out a crimson tank-top that stopped just above my belly button to match my new katana. I pulled it on and grabbed a black over shirt with short sleeves. I tie on my kunai pouch and I walk to my dresser, looking for bandages. "Crap! I'm out!" I cried as I attached my sword to my hip, and tied my hitai-ate around my neck and ran down stairs quickly. "Kakashi! I have to go get some more medical supplies! I'll meet you at the gates!" I yelled.
"Wait! Take this!" Kakashi yelled back at me, throwing me a piece of toast. I caught it and started to stuff it in my mouth as I ran down to the shopping district to get more medical supplies. I didn't know why at the time, but I felt as though I knew what I was doing.
"Aira-san! I'm glad your back! I got that muscle cream you wanted!" The shop owner said as I walked in.
"Oh really! That's great! Thank you so much! Let me look around for a moment. I need to stock up," I told him, smiling as I began walking around. He laid the tube of cream on the counter as I looked through the shelves, picking up disinfectant cream and spray, bandages, and anything else I can get my hands on.
"Don't worry about paying Aira! If you need these for a mission, then it's free!" The owner said.
"But I can't-"
"You can and you will. Take it. And here, take this as well," He said, holding out a pack of senbon. "Those can be used for medical or ninja purposes, whatever you want. Go on! Put them in your kunai pouch and put these in here," He said, handing me a larger pouch for my supplies.
"Arigato! You are so kind! I would give you a hug but I have to be at the gates... Five minutes ago! Argh!" I cried. I waved goodbye to the owner and rushed as fast as possible to the gates. For once, Kakashi was on time and I was late.
"Sorry I'm late! I'm so sorry!" I gasped, catching my breath as I bowed to Kakashi.
"What took you?" An old man snapped. I look away shyly.
"I- I had to pick up some medical supplies. If someone was hurt on the mission I wanted to be prepared Im sorry," I said. I looked at Naruto who was looking back and forth quickly.
"Will a kid like that actually be able to protect me?" The old man asked as he gazed at Naruto.
"Don't worry. I, a Jounin, will be here to protect you," Kakashi said, gloating. I rolled my eyes and walked over to Naruto.
"I'm sure you'll be able to protect him Naruto-san. You're as good as anyone here," I said, helping him ignore Kakashi and the old man. Naruto smiled and his eyes lit up, then he spun around, pointing an accusing finger at the old man.
"Listen geezer! I'll be the best Ninja there is and I'll prove it!" Naruto yelled
"You're just a brat," The old man snapped. I grabbed hold of Naruto as he started to run at him.
"Naruto-san please! We can't attack our client!" I said.
"I'm going to kill you!" Naruto wailed.
"Stop it baka," Kakashi said, grabbing hold of his bag. After Naruto calmed down and everyone is ready we set off towards Kirigakure The village of my nightmares.
I walked slowly next to Kakashi, checking my medicine pack for the tenth time.
"Aira everything is there. Calm down," Kakashi said, irritated with my constant fidgeting.
"I know... I just have a bad feeling something is going to go wrong and I want to be prepared..." I muttered quietly. I strapped it back on and let my hand rest lightly on my katana.
Little did I know, the adventure was only beginning.
