Ribbons of Time ( A Byakuya Kuchiki Story Part 10)

He sat there like he didn't hear what you had just said to him. You knew he heard you because you could see it in his clever and bright eyes...he was trying to figure out a way to avoid the question just asked. However, you weren't going to let him do that. You wanted an answer and you wanted it now.
"Why did you ask me a question like that?" He said getting over the shock of the question.
"I asked you because if my brother or sister were in jail, I'd go visit them. It's a sign of respect."
"Well...unfortunatley, I don't have that kind of respect for Rukia..."
"What! Why! It's not like she's a horrible person!"
"What do you know! Do you even know Rukia, have you been around her for as long as I? How long have you known her, really?!"
"I haven't known her for 24 hrs yet, but I know that she doesn't look like someone who should be in jail!"
"Until you find all the information you need to know about Rukia, don't talk to me about who's criminal and who's not...you are dissmissed..."
"FINE! I've never known you to be so cruel." you said leaving his office.
That was the last thing you said as you left his office. You didn't care if it hurt him, he heart you. You actually hoped that since you two had gotten sort of close, your words would help him change, but you highly doubted it. You saw Renjii coming from a distance.
"Damn." You said looking for somewhere to hide yourself.
You hid in a nearby shop and sat down at the counter pretending to be a regular customer.In your haste to hide you forgot to mask your spiritual pressure. He found you.
"So how'd it go? With Captain Kuchiki, I mean." He asked walking in and sitting next to you.
"I don't want to talk about it Renjii." You said not even looking up.
"So I'm guessing it didn't go too well huh." He said ordering a bowl of ramen.
"Don't you have somewhere to be, like work maybe?" You said getting up and leaving the shop.
"Hey! Where are you going?"
"I'm going home, or maybe I should find Rangiku and go get drunk with her."
"I don't reccomend you do that, I saw Ikkaku a while back and he was wasted, chances are Rangiku's out of it too."
"Well then, I'm going home. If the Captain asks where I'm at, which I doubt he will, tell him I went home." You said walking away from him.
"I hope you feel better!" He shouted after you.
You where glad that you had such a caring friend like Renjii, it wasn't his fault he had such a big heart with a matching head. You tried to feel angry at your Captain, yet you found yourself wanting to spruce up your empty, secret room, maybe make it a gym, a girls gotta stay fit. You went shopping and bought a load of crap for your empty room. Lamps, Furniture, tables, comfy chairs, a carpet for the floor, and some really neat pictures for the secret room too. You were so excited you forgot about Captain Kuchiki's and your argument.
"This is going to be great! I'm going to decorate as soon as I get home." You said walking past squad 6 holding cells.
You stopped and looked at it for a moment.
'Should I go in and see that Rukia person? No, that would make me mad again...but if I...I want to make her feel better.' You thought to yourself.
"I've decided! I'm going to go home and relax, while decorating my secret room, tomorrow I'll go and see Rukia, it looks like she needs all the friends she can get."
You went home and decorated the secret room. The theme of it was centered around a lavender and blue feel, to make it a lot more relaxing. The pictures where abstact and had a lot of purple and blue in them as well. You sat down in the purple chair that you had bought and started to drift off to sleep.
'I hope tomorrow will be better than today, tomorrow morning at least.' You thought going to sleep in the chair.
