You're So Infamous ;; Alex Gaskarth ;; .o19

Alex led Jenna through the house and to the kitchen. Mrs. Gaskarth was looking frantically through her bag.
"Hey mom," Alex said.
She looked up from her bag quickly, long enough to smile and went back to searching. "Hey Alex."
Alex's happy expression seemed to be falling with every second. He sighed and looked down at his shoes. "Where are you going?"
She continued to rummage and pulled out two passports. "Your dad and I have to make a business trip to Washington state. Our plane leaves in an hour and I'm running late."
Alex nodded and sat at the kitchen table. Jenna watched him as his face was flushed with disappointment. He glanced up at her long enough so she could mouth, "You okay?" He shrugged and rested his hands on the table.
Mrs. Gaskarth made a beeline through the kitchen, turning off appliances and lights. She stopped by Alex and kissed the top of his head. "I'll see you later." She looked up at Jenna and smiled.
"Well, how rude of me. I didn't even see you standing there. I'm Alex's mom. And you?" she asked politely.
"That's Jenna," Alex answered.
His mom's face seemed to enlongate at the surprised look. "This is Jenna?" Alex nodded with a slight smile of victory. "Wow, Alex. You've got a looker."
Alex nodded and looked up at Jenna. "I know."
Jenna blushed and smiled. "Thank you both."
Mrs. Gaskarth smiled warmly and began towards the door. "I have to go. Jenna, you make yourself at home. Alex don't ruin the place. Keep it clean until I get back."
"I'm leaving tomorrow," Alex yelled after her.
"What?" she asked loudly. "I thought you said you were off of the tour."
Alex stood up and walked to the door. "I still have another week."
"Just one more week," Jenna thought sadly.
Mrs. Gaskarth frowned. "I'm sorry Alex. I would've stayed here had I known."
Alex shrugged and waved her off. "Don't worry about it. Go on your trip. Again. I'll hold down the fort until tomorrow."
The front door opened and she walked out, shut it and said, "No parties! Love you!"
"Love you, too." Alex walked back into the kitchen where Jenna still stood. "So we have this whole house to ourselves. What would you like to do first?"
Jenna stared into his dull eyes. "Are you okay?"
He nodded and flipped through a magazine on the counter, shut it, and looked back at her. "I'm used to them being gone most of the time. Now that I'm touring all the time I never get to see them."
She rubbed his arm out of concern. "I'm sorry. Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"
Alex smiled slowly with a sly look in his eyes. Jenna rolled her eyes and laughed, clearly getting his idea. "Anything else?"
"Is that a yes or a no?"
Jenna sighed and shook her head. "Maybe later."
Alex pouted. "I could use a hug."
Jenna entered his welcoming arms and buried her head in his chest.
"Oh, and," Alex said and puckered his lips. Jenna met his with hers and smiled up at him. "Better?"
"Almost." He let his hands wrap around hers and whispered, "Tell me you love me."
She was right hesitant at first, but with the softest voice she could muster whispered, "I love you."
He closed his eyes with a satisfied smile. "Hearing those words never felt so good."
She nodded, "Saying them never felt so good."
Alex kissed her quickly and walked to the pantry. "Make dinner with me."
