Fly me to the moon, and let me play among the stars.
Let me see what spring is like on Jupiter and Mars.
Calling at my window
Never knocking at my door
You climb up into the belly of the moon
Waxing, waning, sore
Smiling down on me
Shining down like rain
Parting the effervescent clouds
Just to call my name
Guitar in your lap
Moonshine on your back
Play the lullaby of the wind
Set the starlight free
Captured in your darkening smile
Sing it out for me
Run my fingers through your hair
Just to find your lost ideas
Swallow the darkness up in our mouths
With the moonlight growing between us
Sitting in the belly of the moon
Up so high
Swinging your feet
Pull me up to meet your light
Calling down your love to me
Man in the Moon
Originally I was planning on explaining this one. But this is by far my most...creative...cryptic I guess poem to date. So I'll just let you get what you will from it. ^.^ pic in results is the man in the moon by tartleigh from deviantart.comDid you like this story? Make one of your own!
