Silver, Gold, and All That Good Stuff [Chapter 2]

"Who the hell are you?" Julie said spinning around to face the hooded figure. Angel peers around Julie's shoulder.
"Victoria's guardian angel and for Pete's sake get away from me!" the figure said ducking away from Angel's prying fingers.
"Hey! You are that guy!" Angel said finally tearing the hood off the figure. "You're that Sid guy we saw with Victoria going in the movies!" Angel said gawking at him.
"It's Seth and yea..that was me." Seth said looking down and turning very red.
"Dude! You're dating your charge?! That is so against the rules!" Damian said. Seth spun on him and spitted out, "Yes. I am very aware of the rules, after all, I am the one who has to abide by them. Now, I'm warning all of you. Stay away from Victoria, stop spying, and go home. If you don't, mommy and daddy won't be able to save you." There was dead silence and then a rather loud beeping noise. "I have to go. Remember my warning. I'll be watching all of you." Then Seth faded into a bright light.
"Who is Victoria and why does he think that we'd come near some human?" David said scoffing at Seth's warning. Conner rolled her eyes and then said, "Idiot. Humans don't have guardian angels! She's special, she's like us. Christ! She's the reason we were all drawn here."
"She has....abilities?" Raina said looking dumbfounded but quickly fixed her expression when she saw David snickering at her. Julie smacked David in the head.
"Yes. She has abilities but that isn't what worries me." Conner said looking deadly serious. "Did you see the light Seth faded into. Every G.A. (guardian angel)fades into a light that their protectee controls."
"I don't understand and all this thinking is making my head hurt even more!" Blake said tearing up. Raina held him even tighter.
"Well Julie controls Earth and when Angel fades in and out it's brown, right Angel?" Conner said looking at Angel who vigorously nods her head up and down. "But his was like nothing I've ever seen before. Hey. Do you remember the fairy tale our parents would tell us when it was time for bed?"
"My parents weren't one for telling stories but I did read this one in a book, and I think it's the one you are talking about."
Seth....
"There is the greatest love story of all times. Where the Earth was still deciding whether to be good or evil. A woman from the sun came to spread light and evil. A man came from the moon to spread darkness and good. When they met, they were prepared to kill each other, but instead, they fell in love. They stayed together on the Earth, but people on the sun and people on the moon were wondering why Earth still hadn't decided, so they sent more people to make it light or dark. When they saw the couple together they were extremely angry and made plans to kill one. The king of the moon and the king of the sun met and decided to kill the man, and so they set the man up by saying they captured the woman and when he showed up to get her back and she wasn't there he tried to get out but they cornered him. The woman heard of the plans and went to save him killing people by the dozen, but she just as she got there they stabbed him in the heart, but he didn't die. When they asked him why he said because I gave my heart away. So they turned on the woman and tried to kill her but she didn't die either and when she asked why she said because I gave my heart away. Then the woman and the man escaped. Finally they two different types of people figured it out, the couple had a child. When they plotted to kill the child the woman and man got angry and the man went to the sun after hiding the child and killed everyone on the sun with goodness, and the woman went to the moon and killed everyone there with evilness. Finally they went back to Earth and went to where they hid the child and it was gone. They went to the two armies and said that they would give up themselves for the child. They armies agreed and gave them the child. The armies said that the couple had one hour to say goodbye. So the couple went home and put the child into a deep sleep that would end when the world really needed the child. Then they made a plan to kill the armies along with themselves. When they went to the armies the carried the plan through and there was no one from the sun or from the moon left anywhere except for the child. And the couple were the greatest love anywhere to be found and that is what made the Earth exactly how it is today." Blake said smiling.
"But what happened to the child?" Raina said.
"No one knows. But it is just a fairy tale." Blake said.
"That's the thing, remember in the book the way the child was pictured? The light's that surrounded it?" Conner said sitting down on a rock.
"Yea...OH! You're right!" Blake said.
"Wait. So you think that this isn't just a fairy tale and that Seth is the child?" Cole said speaking up.
"Yes! Well no. Um kinda." David said.
"No stupid Victoria is the child!" Damian said who really got into the story.
"Well what do you think? Is it possible?" Conner said looking around.
"There is only one question IF it's true." Cole said and as soon as he had everyone's eyes on him he spoke the sentence that changed every one person in that group. "Why does the universe need her?"
