Number 22! YAY!
. "I could never live with out your kisses."
"I don’t think I could live with out giving them." She smiled. "I just really wanted my shirt." He laughed and kissed her again.
"So where are you taking me?" Natasha asked, as she followed Matic down a hall barefoot.
"You just have to see for your self, were almost there." He turned another corner then stopped, and pulled her in front of him. There was a double door in front of her, the light leaking in from the out side. He held her shoulders as he urged her forward. She pushed the doors out into the garden, waterfalls flowed from all around her, and A path of upraised ground led through the water to an island in the middle, flowers and trees beautifully placed, to invite any one that opened the doors.
"Matic…" She whispered out, as if speaking louder would some how destroy the beautiful sight before her. She stepped through the doors, water lily's floated through the crystal clear water, and the fish in the water were huge, massive and beautiful. The sound of water falling was so calming and energizing at the same time, she couldn't help smile, looking at the piece of heaven before her.
"Do you like it?" She turned to him .
"Its so beautiful, how could I not?"
"My mother loved this place."
"I can see why. Matic, its amazing!" He smiled down at her awe.
"Keep walking. You haven't seen the best part." She smiled as she walked down the grassy path to the island. There was a small gate before entering fulling on to the island. Matic opened the gate for her as she walked through, looking around at the trees and birds in them. A flock parrots took flight at the two of them walking in.
"Zazti!" Matic suddenly called from her and one parrot flew out from the flock strait toward Matic, it landed gracefully on his shoulder, nibbling at his hair.
"Natasha, this is Zazti."
"Can I?" Natasha motioned to pet him.
"Oh, yea, he'll love you forever." Natasha smiled as she cautiously reached out and stroked the bird. It craned its head at her, opening its beak a little then closed it.
"So Zazti, what do you think of her?"
"Pretty! Kra!" The bird burst out at Matic's question. Natasha laughed, looking to Matic then back to the bird.
"Do you think I'm good enough for her?" Matic asked.
"Not. CrA! A chance!" It ruffled its wings, then hopped suddenly onto Natasha's arm. Natasha screamed slightly at the sudden movement than just laughed as Matic steadied her arm.
"You got him?" He asked her, she nodded smiling.
"How did you train him?" Matic smiled as he shrugged.
"Lally. Lally train." Natasha looked at the bird surprised.
"Lally… my mother. Her name was Lallenta but every one called her Lally."
"Lally! LALLY! The bird called out, and instantly all the parrots that had flown by started to call out her name.
"LALLY! LALLY! LALLY!" Natasha's smiled fell as she looked at Matic's pained face.
"I'm sorry." He just nodded. He looked at Zazti.
"Lally's not here, Zazti."
"LALLY GONE!"
"Yes, Lally gone." The birds slowly stopped calling her name. Matic smiled a sad smile at the bird. "Fly Zazti." The bird instantly took off from Natasha's arm.
"Wow." Natasha said as she watched it fly off into the trees.
"My mother loved her parrots. Zazti, was her favorite, he's really smart."
"Yes, he is… you know he was completely right."
"About?"
"About you not being good enough for me."
"Oh, really?" His arm snaked around her middle.
"Yep, not even close." He laughed as she kissed him. "But I think I'll love you any way."
"Oh, really, you just think huh?"
"Yep."
"And do my great looks have anything to do with it?"
"Maybe a little… but its mostly those kisses of yours."
"These kisses?" He kissed her gently. Natasha nodded against him, as she pulled him closer to her.
"Yes." She gasped out when he pulled away. He smiled and leaned in and kissed her again. The parrots suddenly took flight and flew around them. Natasha pulled away from him laughing as she watched the sudden flurry of colors fly around them. Matic wrapped his arms around her and swung her around. When the birds passed and he let her down she couldn't stop laughing, the atmosphere of love and being free being up her giggles. She ran from Matic, relishing in the feeling of the soft grass beneath her feet. She tripped in her rushed and rolled to the ground.
"Natasha!" Matic said, worry in his voice at seeing her suddenly fall, but when her giggles continued he couldn't help but laugh with her. He walked after her, and looked down at her beautiful figure.
"Come down here with me." He smiled and shook his head.
"Not a chance."
"Oh come here!" She reached up quickly and grabbed his arm, pulling her full weight down, trying to bring him down. He complied and lay down beside her. They looked through the tree tops, watching as the sun peaked through the leaves. "Its so beautiful." She felt his hand pushing away her hair from her face and neck. She looked over at him, looking down at her. "I could stay here forever." She smiled as she looked up at him.
"That can be arranged." She smiled as she watched him stare down at her. "But only if I have you with me." He just smiled and leaned down and kissed her.
"Always. I'll never leave you."
"Is that a promise?"
"Promise."
"Scouts honor?" She looked at him with a joking skeptical look. He rolled his eyes.
"Scouts honor."
"Okay, I'll believe you." She smiled and pulled him down to her lips, relishing in the feeling of him close to her.
