Bouncing my legs impatiently, my butt bouncing just as much from the harsh motion, I sat with a grin on my face the size of Texas.
My birthday.
My best friends.
Cupcakes.
Blindfolds.
Just fun stuff in general.
"Okay, okay. You ready?"a familiar voice called, from farther away than I liked.
The voice only made me smile wider, though.
"Ugh, I've been ready since the you dragged me here!"I grunted, dramatically smacking my fists against the couch.
"Hah,"he gave a slight chuckle, trying to fight back the laughs like always. "Right, well, take the blindfold off"he said excitedly, suddenly next to me and bouncing just as much as I was.
"Finally!"I groaned, trying to rip the bandana from around my eyes, without tearing a chunk of my hair out with it.
I blinked my eyes open, trying to let them adjust to the light.
My eyes looked eagerly around me, only to find nothing but the usual mess of the inside of the bus, and Travis, with a huge smile on his face.
"Where's my present?"I pouted, expecting a present from my bestest buddy, only because he promised one as soon as he took my hand and dragged me onto the empty bus after the show.
He kept grinning, taking his hands from behind him, and handing over a little stuffed animal - an adorable puppy- and a card.
I looked at him skeptically.
He had made it seem like way more of a big deal.
I smiled either way, though.
Travis McCoy was something else, alright.
The puppy was definitely cute. Squeal worthy, even.
It fit in the palm of my hand, was more of a beanie baby than a stuffed animal, had green suede 'fur', and a thin, wide, gold ribbon wrapped around it's little neck.
"Open the card"he pushed the card in my hands up toward my face, like it would make me read it any faster.
I grinned wider, taking it away from his grasp and twisting to hold it in front of me for me to read alone. Because, it was my birthday present, after all.

Dear Celina,
I love you.
A lot.
You're amazing.
You're my best friend.
You're my everything.
You consume me.
Be my girl.
xo- Travie.
I looked back up at him, confused.
"Huh?"
He didn't bother answering me with words, though.
He leaned toward me, instead, bringing his lips sweetly to my own and pushing me back against the couch.
I take back what I said before about questioning his birthday gift to me.
This was the best birthday ever.
