[I just want to sing][Joe Jonas][And be heard][16]

Sitting in Chemistry class Nikki put on her goggles. Today they were doing an experiment in class. Nikki, Kat and Joe were already in a lab group so they started. Putting a few chemicals in tubes Nikki jotted some things down, change in color, change in compouds, change in appearance.
Joe on the other hand took a chemical and poured it into one of the green test tubes. Nikki squealed as he did so and pulled him away from the table. "JOE!"She wailed as it blew up.
"Idiot!"Kat screeched as the tube overflowed numerous times looking as if the substance was alive.
Joe on the other hand grabbed Nikki's arm and hid behind her as if scared of his mistake. She laughed and pat his back. "There, there...it's ok. You blew stuff up...we all do that...NOT!"
Mr. Sulliven turned around and looked to Joe, Nikki and Kat. His eyes grew wide as the chemicals in the tubes were spewing out over the top. Nikki laughed as her and Joe held eachother close watching the chemical reaction.
"Hmm Chemistry in Chem class!"Kat smirked.
Nikki blushed and pulled away instantly from Joe. Returning to their studies Nikki couldn't help but to dwell on what Kat had said. Chemistry in Chem class...it just kept repeating itself in Nikki's head. She wondered why.
"That was not a sign of good control! Joe you have an extra day of detention so see you today and tomorrow...no matter how much I don't want one day of detention with you"Mr. Sulliven groaned writing down the detention names on the board.
With Mr. Sulliven he wrote down detentions every day when they had Chemistry. One thing would bother him, causing them to earn detention. Kat was chewing gum one day and Mr. Sulliven made her spit it into his hand, and then gave her a detention after. He said she was disrupting class with her annoying clicking noise when she snapped her gum.
"Awe poor Joe...two detentions with Mr. Sulliven. Must be a bummer"Nikki giggled leaning her head on his shoulder.
He rolled his eyes playfully and turned his attention to the lab they were doing. It was a lab about the effects of sulfer on soda. Obviously it had a bad effect, being that it had exploded earlier.
"Another detention wasn't exactly the first on my list of things to do this week"Joe chuckled.
"Well now it is"Nikki laughed.
Giving her a noogie Joe smiled. "We start rehearsing next month...excited?"Joe asked.
"Uhhh duhhhhh"Nikki answered. "I hope we beat Angela"
Angela turned around at the mention of her name. Her eyes grew curious as she looked at Joe and Nikki.
"You wont win. Trust me when I say that!"Angela hissed.
"I'd like to see you try!"Nikki snarled back.
Joe looked at Nikki laughing as she had a little cat fight with Angela. When Nikki was mad or upset Joe liked to do his best to help her. He never liked watching her when she was sad.
"Well just to let you know...you still haven't earned your place at school. Which means...you cant think you are going to win"Angela spat.
"Oh, but I can!"Nikki smirked.
Angela growled and turned back around returning to her work. Nikki did the same and noticed Joe glancing at her a few times. She giggled and blushed nervously as he did so. She wasn't sure if she liked when he looked at her or disliked it.
After class ended Nikki walked with Kat and Joe towards the beach. Joe slipped out of his shirt while Kat and Nikki sat down on the sand.
"Come swim!"Joe exclaimed.
"Nah, cant. I only have a bra and underwear on...too bad!"Nikki joked.
"Well come anyway. It's so nice...good day to swim"Joe answered grabbing her by the wrist and pulling her towards the water.
Nikki squealed as he did so and tried to wiggle free of his tight grasp. He shook his head and lifted her over his shoulder. She screeched and started hitting his back numerous times in effort to make him let go, when he didn't she hung there, helplessly. Kat laughed and watched as the two flirted.
"Please let me go. I will love you forever. Like love to the tenth power! You can force me into anything...just don't get me wet"Nikki whined.
"Too bad"Joe chuckled throwing her into the water.
Being sumbmerged Nikki kicked to the surface almost immediately only to see Joe looking at her cracking up as he did so. Nikki glared at him and jumped on his back pushing down his shoulder in effort to kill push him under. When she did so Joe pushed her off his back and splashed a bunch of salt water in her mouth. Definately not happy about this, Nikki spit trying to get the gross taste out of her mouth.
The two began to fight again splashing, hitting, sometimes even biting eachother. Kat smiled and watched as they did so. It was great to see two of her best friends getting along this well.

"Ow I have a bite mark on my shouler!"Nikki exclaimed sitting on Joe's lap, his arms were wrapped securely around her waist trying to warm them both up as they gazed up at the stars.
Kat had gone to bed, leaving the two alone in the dark night. Nikki didn't mind, she always loved Joe's company. To her he was always very calming and seemed to have a weird effect over her.
"Well you were annoying me...so I bit you. Now don't be worried if you get rabies"Joe smirked.
"Oh you're an idiot"Nikki joked.
"Yeah..but I'm your idiot"He answered, smirking.
Nikki nodded. "This is true...Joe Jonas, my idiot!"
Joe laughed and continued to look up at the stars with Nikki. It was times like this when he never wanted the night to end.
