Cousin of Seto Kaiba, Lover of Yami, and Pregnant--- Ch.16

Serena took a deep breath before knocking on the door or Malik and Marik's apartment. She knew that there was a certain person that came over to the apartment everyday between 3p.m.-5p.m. and 9p.m.-3a.m., and it was currently 4:24 p.m. This certain person was the only person she was ever afraid to talk to sometimes. The only one that would ever make her knees and legs buckle and get a weird, fluttering feeling in her stomach. She hated getting that feeling, yet she couldn't help it around this person. She knew, however, that if her and Bree were going on that double date, that there was no one else she'd rather ask. So here she was, back at the apartment again, hoping this person will agree to go with her on the double date. Malik opened the door. "Back again, Serena?" "Yeah.... is he here?" Malik nodded and stepped aside to let her in. She walked in and looks at Malik briefly before he pointed into the living room. She walked into the room and there he was, sitting on the couch, watching "COPS" on the TV. She was silent for a moment, not sure what to say. Then she finally worked up the guts to say, "... Hey you." He spun his head around and had a slightly surprised look on his face as he looked at her. "Heh... long time, no see, Serena." "Yeah.. seems like ages." Both were silent for what seemed like hours. Then he broke the silence. "What brings you here?" "I came to see you." "Oh? What for? Are you asking a favor again?" She came around the couch and sat a short distance from him, facing him. "Well... kind of." "What is it this time?" She was a little hesitant to just flat out ask him. "Well..... you remember how we used to be? You know.... together?" His eyes softened a little as he remembered how they're relationship was and how it turned out in the end. "... yeah... I remember.. why?" "Um.... well... why not give it another try?" His eyes widened again, clearly not expecting a question like that at all. "Are you serious? Serena, I don't want to hurt you again." "I know that, Bakura. I know you didn't mean to hit me that hard though." Bakura had on his usual hard look as he looked down at the floor. "I still don't want to-" "I don't care, Bakura!! Quit being such a baby!" He looked back up at her, obviously annoyed by her remark. "Why do you want us to get back together again?" "Because-!.... Because I still have some feelings for you." Once again, he was a bit surprised. He stared at her for a good 15 minutes or so, not saying a word. Finally, he sighed heavily and replied,"....... If you're going to be stubborn and thick-headed about it... then I guess we can give it another shot." Serena smirked and said, "Great... because we're going on a double date with one of my new friends tomorrow." "WHAT!?"

"Bree, are you sure about this?"Yami asked you. You nodded as you continued looking through different colored paint palettes for the baby's room, slowly pacing the carpet in your room. "Sure, it's a chance for us to get to know her better. Plus, I'm interested to see who she'll bring." By now, the stars were beginning to show in the dark sky. Yami sighed. "I'm just concerned. Something about this double date seems fishy." You gave him a strange look. "Fishy? How so?" He shrugged. "I don't know, but I just got this bad feeling in my gut." You turned back to the color palettes in your hands. "I'm sure it's just your nerves or something." He was silent for a moment and didn't say a word. After awhile, he got up from his seat, came to you and wrapped his arms around your large belly from behind you. You stopped and smiled as his hands gently caressed your tummy and the baby that was curled up inside you. He rested his chin on your shoulder, looking down at your belly. Barely above a whisper, he said, "What do you think he or she will look like?" "Well... it's hard to say really since I don't remember who the father is." "Oh.... I'm sorry Bree. I shouldn't have-" "It's alright",you replied with a reassuring smile. He smiled at you. "What do you think it'll be then?" You pondered on it for a moment or two. Then you answered, "Either it's a boy... or a really big girl!" He laughed at your response and kissed your cheek. "Either way, I'll be right there for you, every step of the way." "... Promise?" He smiled more and nodded. "I promise."
RESULTS!

Ooooo!!! So Bakura WAS Serena's ex-boyfriend, but now they're trying to get back together again! No wonder Yami's got a bad feeling in his gut! Furthermore, how will you handle meeting Bakura?... Or... what if... just maybe........ FIND OUT NEXT TIME!!!
