"CITY!!!" Yelled Lottie as she ran into my room, in her small fist wee two tickets. "He said yes."
"Really?"
"Yep." She grinned happily. "Go and have a shower!" She ordered.
"Yes master." I laughed and leapt off the bed and into the bathroom.
*********************************************************************
"Oh isn't it wonderful City?" She asked looking around.
Okay, I have never actually found circus's fun, at all. I am petrified of clowns and here it was weird, there were freak shows and weird looking men all over the place. With the strange guns.
"Yes." I lied. "Where do you want to go first?"
"Well there is a show on soon. It shows everything from elephants to freaks." She giggled.
"Well lets go." I said with fake enthusiasm. She grabbed my hand and pulled me off towards this very large tent.
Once inside I saw that it was packed, there was hardly any room to breath. I managed to shove our way through the clouds and we found empty seats. Lottie had to sit on my lap as she couldn't see, god she weighs a lot for a small thing.
Eventually the show started, a weird guy with a really tall top hat came on and introduced the first act. They were pretty cool they did all types of flips and pyramids.
It carried on for about an hour with different acts, included elephants which I could watch as I found it way too cruel.
"Now ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls." Said the ringmaster in what he thinks is a dramatic voice, it isn't. "We give you . THE FALLEN ANGEL!" he yelled and an angel was shoved into the arena.
I couldn't see her face at first it was hidden behind mass of lank blond hair. Her large white wings were covered in both mud and blood, with chains tied around then so she couldn't fly off.
I swear I have never seen something so sad before. The whole crowd were jeering and laughing all except for me and Lottie, in fact Lottie looked as if she was about to cry.
"Let's see the face of the disgusting killer!" Yelled the ringmaster. He yanked back the angel's head and I saw her face and gasped out loud. Kaley!, she whimpered in pain but that only made the crowd laugh harder.
"Lottie let's go." I said. She didn't need telling twice, we quickly go up and ran out of the arena.
"Did you know her City?" She asked.
"Yes." I said holding back tears as Kaley's image flashed back into my mind. "That was Kaley." I said softly.
"That is horrible what they are doing to her." She said tears flowed down her cheeks.
"I know."
"We could rescue her." Said Lottie.
"What?"
"Be her knights, like Seb was yours." She said, god even in a time like this she was so cute.
"But how?"
"Well, we go round the back, see where they take her and then free her from wherever they are keeping her. Go on City, what can we loose?"
The truth is I couldn't loose anything but she could, she had a good life, family, she'll get friends she is smart and pretty.
I didn't really have anything anymore.
