"Ok. What if I did have a kid?" I asked Patrick.
"Well...I would obviously love him...or her, and be the perfect father...and you would be the perfect wife." Patrick answered.
"I would name him Wentz Stump Hurley!" I laughed.
"THAT WOULD SUCK! Do you know much he would be made fun of? 'Hah! Wentz went hurling into a stump'!"
"You're only mocking yourself, Patrick..." I laughed.
"Well still..."
"Do you hear giggling? Upstairs?" I asked.
"OH MY GOD! They're doing the nasty in your bed!" Patrick yelled.
"Remind to change the sheets later..." I said, nearly barfing.
"So you wanna do something?" I asked.
"Actually... I have a place to go to." Patrick said to me, "I gotta go."
"Okay bye." I said kissing him as he walked out the door.
I sat down on my couch.
"I'm gonna go too." Pete said.
Lea was hugging him, "Now?"
"Yea. See ya Hails." And with that he left.
Now that I was all alone in my apartment...HOLY SHIT! I DIDN'T PAY MY BILLS YET!!!
I ran to the mailbox and grabbed the large stacks of bills.
"Oh my god..." I muttered trying to sort out the mail.
"What's that?" I asked myself, holding up a letter.
From Patrick...
It was a little note.

I smiled, nearly dropping the letter.(Cause I'm clumsy.) There were more instructions
I followed the steps and met Patrick at the steps of his house.
"C'mon! Let's go," he laughed pulling my hand.
"Where are we, Patrick?" I giggled, trying to remove Patrick's hands from my eyes. "We've been walking forever!"
"Just a few more steps..." Patrick said.
"Fine..."
He sat me down onto a bench.
"TA DA!" He yelled.
"Oh my god Patrick." I said looking at the tree.
The tree next to the bench had something inscribed in it.
"P.W. J.T. A.H. P.S. & H.H." I whispered, "That was so long ago."
"Do you really think we should do this? It's technically state property..." I said, drowning in Andys jacket.
It was dark and cold in the park that night. It was nearly 2 a.m.
"It'll be fine!" Pete assured me.
"Alright..."
"C'mon Hails! Your turn!" Joe yelled to me, handing me the knife.
I carefully carved my name into the old brittle wood next to Patricks initials.
"This will now be forever known as...our tree!" Andy laughed.
"YEAH!" We yelled.
The laughing and cheering faded into the back of my mind.
I carefully studied the tree.
"This is new..." Patrick said showing me a heart with P.M. + H.H. inside.
(Still laughing at that PMS thing...)
"Awww, Patty..." I said hugging him.
I sat down at the bench staring at the tree. Patrick held my hand.
"Haylie?" Patrick said.
"Hmm?" I asked.
"I love you more than anything at in the world. Nothing will ever come between us. I promise." Patrick said, bending down on one knee.
"Will you marry me? And be my star forever?" He asked me, flashing a diamond ring, "And be mine forever to hold?"
Forever?
"OF COURSE! I LOVE YOU PATRICK!" I yelled hugging him and kissing him.
"Do you promise to be my star forever?" He asked me.
Forever and ever."
