Lightening streaked; casting a yellow zigzag line on the gray sky. Thunder rumbled and the Earth shook from its intensified grip. Droplets of rain fell from the sky, indicating that it was crying. The rain poured down, the Heaven's crying its heart out. A strong breeze blew causing the trees to sway violently.
The rain patted against the ground. Puddles of water sloshed about as a human ran. Gasping was heard as the human gripped his arm; crimson staining his shirt and palm. His hair was darker than his natural color, and cold droplets of water slid down his face. He suppressed a shiver to take over his body as he ran.
Wisps of black flew from the ground; antennas poking out of the ground. A small humanoid black body was seen on the ground; its yellow gold eyes hinting that malice was deep inside. The boy skids across the street, eyes wide open in fear as he was surrounded by monsters.
He froze. What was he supposed to do? He can run away, but there is a slim chance the monsters will let him get away. Blood slid down his arm under his ripped sleeve, a plopping noise echoing in the streets. Yellow eyes darted to the droplet of blood before hungrily looking at him.

"No," he whispered, backing away slightly. His voice quivered and was hoarse. The monsters were so scary. His hand trailed down to his pouch, where his wand was. He knew magic. He could heal himself. "C-Curaga," he whispered shakily as he raised the wand to himself. A small light casts in the darkness, but nothing happened. "Damn it, C-Curaga!" He sobbed. This was the end; he was going to die.
The monsters sneered and walked closer. He walked back before running away. The monsters growled animalistic and chased him. Some of them turned into shadows and swam under the ground.
He ran and something jumped on him. A shrill shriek was heard in the streets. The monster was on his back and he turned around, kicking the monster. Tears fell from his eyes as he cringed. The monster scratched him. The wind blew on the wound, sending blood to the ground. There were more of them, now surrounding his body. "No, please," he cried.
Their mouth opened and was about to chew on his chest to get her heart, when daggers flew by. Wind chocked up and a few strands of brown flew. The monster shrieked and jumped off of the boy's chest. Its claws were in a defensive stance. He saw a form with spiky hair and a sword in his hands; slashing the monsters as his friends battled against the enemies.

The boy's eyes fluttered closed before hearing voices of concern.

Birds chirped happily as wind softly blew the curtains; its peachy color sending the room into a peaceful state. There was a body in a bed, its covers covering his face. The sun's rays beamed through the window, casting half of the face with an angelic glow. He murmured and stirred.

He was surrounded by people. One of them was ripping his sleeve and witnessed the long deep cut on her arm; starting a few centimeters from his shoulder and to his mid arm. Blood gushed out like water from a faucet. The woman cringed, her chocolate eyes hardening.
One of the men had spiky blonde hair that also defied gravity. Cerulean eyes stared down at his friend, whom was bandaging her wounds. He wore a dark red cloth around his neck, hiding the bottom of his face. It was also a cape, at the end of it, it was ripped. He had some sort of glove, and golden claws on it as well.
"Aerith," he spoke softly, casting a glance at his brunette friend, "there is a possibility he is infected."
"Cloud, don't be like that!" One of the girls said. She had dark brown hair and matching eyes that held happiness and energetic hope. She had a yellow scarf around her neck and a green top that ends at her mid stomach. She had blue straps on said green shirt so it won't fall.
Cloud glance at a look to Yuffie, who was grinning. "We were there to save him, weren't we?" She exclaimed, winking at him. Cloud shook his head and stared at the boy.
"Don't you see the cut? He can become a Heartless less than 24 hours, Yuffie," another voice cuts in. She blinked and turned around to see her buddy, Leon!
"Yikes, Squall, since when you were there?" She blinked childishly at him. A small line was on his lips indicating that he was frowning.
"I thought you know well enough not to call me that," he told and she grinned. Leon sighed and walked over to the boy, his finger tracing his bandaged wound. "He was scratched see? And plus, look at his pupils," Leon informed and then opened his eyelid and grabbed a small flashlight form out of nowhere. He turned it on and flashed light in his blue eyes. All color had vanished; all was deep and hollow.
"See, his pupils are dilating; you can see specks of yellow in them." Aerith gasped and stood up.
"This is bad. What do we do, Leon?" She spoke softly. She cast a glance at Leon, who was grabbing his Gun Blade. She blinked and shook her head. Brown braids moving with her every movement.
"No, Leon, you know better than to kill a live human being! There must be another way," She exclaimed. Cloud's blue eyes averted to the corner, watching Leon's every movement.
Leon shifted, and gripped the blade tighter in his hands, "We have to. If we don't kill it now, it's just going to add up in their collection."
Yuffie had wide eyes and had her thumb on her chin in a feared state. She never saw Leon like this. While they were arguing, she stared at the boy's movement. Black crawled on his skin, and claws were starting to grow from his nails. Everything for her was slow; the person sat up was in slow movement, everyone's lips as they argued were slow.
Eyes opened, revealing yellow orbs. Yuffie gasped, though it was inaudible. The person stood up, no human behavior was there. He snarled, catching the people in the room by surprise.

"Cloud, look out!"
