I'm Forever [Craig Owens] |20|

Created by SatanWasASkank on Monday, April 14, 2008

There are moments of your life that you're so happy, you feel completely immune to anything bad. You completely forget about anything bad that could possibly happen at any given chance. It's not that you're not conscious of these bad happenings because they still go on and you hear about them day to day, but you just completely forget that these things don't just happen to other people, they also happen to you.
Lilly's phone had been dead since she woke up that morning. She forgot her charger. Part of her didn't care. It's not like she had anyone else to call, everyone was with her that she talked to on a daily basis.
Lilly and Emily were currently standing outside the buses, practically in the woods of the tiny town they were in. It was pitch black out, the two girls were connected at the hands and giggling wildly as Lilly held a large flashlight under her arm.
"I'm going to pee myself, stop." Lilly laughed.
"Me too, but it's funny, I can't." Emily fell into her, as she produced another bout of laughter.
They were on an expedition to find Emily's phone. It had dropped out on their walk earlier that day.
They got a little more serious, and tried to stop horsing around for a few minutes until they actually found what they were looking for.
"Did we just look over here?" Lilly asked, shining the flashlight onto a few trees to look for some sort of landmark, but in the dim light from the flashlight and the pitch black of the rest of the woods, everything looked the same.
"I think?" Emily questioned herself, chewing off one of her fingernails.
They both stood, staring at wherever the light flashed in the woods before them.
"I'm kinda scared, I'm not going to lie." Emily decided.
"Me too." Lilly agreed, grasping tighter on to Emily's hand.
"I think we should go back, I'll just get a new phone." Emily nodded, even though it couldn't be seen in the dark.
As the pair went to turn their bodies around on the narrow path of the woods, Lilly ran into a tree and dropped her flashlight.
"Oh shit!" She scattered to find it.
"Oh my God, what was that?!" Emily shrieked.
"What?" Lilly jumped up from where she was trying to find the other battery and the top to the flashlight. "Stop it!" She demanded as she clutched on to the other girl for dear life.
"I thought I heard something, I swear." Emily grabbed onto her hand again and held on tight.
Lilly got the chills as she tried to see in the dark woods, she couldn't see much of anything with out the light.
"Screw the flashlight, lets go." Emily demanded, and started walking.
They both walked a little faster, whispering to each other on their walk back, reassuring one another that there was nothing in the woods, and that it was only a short distance back.
They walked faster as their eyes got a little more adjusted to the darkness and they could make out figures enough to be sure they weren't going to trip over them.
"Stop." Lilly demanded, planting her feet. "I think we're going the wrong way." She thought a moment, trying to remember how far they walked on their way in and where they turned on each path.
Emily looked at her. "We came in on that path back there?" She pointed to show her.
"Did we?" Lilly asked.
"I don't know." Emily sighed.
The sound of something screeching in the woods caused both girls to scream and start running, they let go of each others hand and Emily ran in front of Lilly as they both panicked. Lilly was close behind Emily, as she tripped over something and was sent in to a load of mud.
Emily turned her head to check on the other as she tripped and fell to her knees, something had jumped in front of her and made the same screeching noise, both the girls screamed again.
Soon after laughter was heard throughout the woods as the two screeching beings revealed a small flashlight shining it to see what was around them.
"Oh my God, I hate you!" Emily didn't hesitate to punch Pat in the chest when he tried to help her up.
Lilly pushed Matt as he sat beside her just off of the mud. Jason also soon revealed himself, laughing just as hard as both the other boys. He helped Lilly out of the mud pit she seemed to be destined to fall in.
"I can't believe you." Emily growled, punching her brother in the stomach, and grabbing Lilly's muddy arm and linking it in her own scraped one.
"It was so funny, give us a break!" He defended, trying to pat Lilly's head.
Lilly just ignored him.
"If it makes you feel any better, I fell right before you, and you kicked me in the knee during your swim into the mud." He informed Lilly. She wiped some of the mud from her shirt and threw it at him.
"Fair enough." He sighed as Pat chuckled again to himself, finding it still beyond hilarious.
"It wasn't my idea, I found your phone and we were just coming to get you guys, they're they ones that had the idea to scare you." Jason informed the two girls, placing the phone in Emily's free hand.
"Oh, they have it coming." Emily growled.
The five made it back finally to the venue, after being lost for a matter of twenty minutes.
Lilly was practically covered from head to toe in cold mud, it revealed as the made it into the lights set up for the party that was destined to happen with so many bands around.
Emily shook her head as she wiped the mud from Lilly's eye when they stopped.
"You're such dicks." She growled looking at Pat and Matt.
"It was a joke!" Matt defended throwing his hands up.
Pat just looked at them and walked away, knowing they were only overly exaggerating it to make them feel bad more so Emily than Lilly.
"I am sorry!" He demanded throwing himself in front of them as the stood outside the bus.
Lilly wiped her hand on his face and stared at him as Emily climbed onto the bus to find some clothes.
He stared at his shirt for a second then looked at Jason then back to Lilly. "So you're not mad then, right?" He questioned hopefully.
Lilly shook her head and rolled her eyes as he happily walked up the bus steps.
Craig stepped off the bus with a few others to look at the damages.
"Aw, sweetheart." He pouted seeing Lilly caked in mud, he chuckled as he looked her over holding some clothes he found of hers. "Lets go hose you off." He shook his head pointing in the direction of the offices.
Lilly wiped chunks of mud from herself and slung them on the ground. She wasn't mad about it in the least, she herself thought it was rather funny.
"They planned that out as soon as you guys left." He shook his head stopping and leaning into the building to say something.
He leaned back out and walked Lilly over to the hose. "This is going to be cold." He apologized as he turned on the hose. Lilly rubbed her arms and legs as Craig held up the hose to her. He ran his fingers through her hair trying to help some of the mud out of it. Lilly shivered as the cold water ran down her back.
"Okay, good enough." She nodded, shivering.
Craig chuckled as he turned off the water. A girl on the staff came out to see what was going on.
"Oh my, you weren't kidding." She nodded, and guided Lilly into the office as Craig followed. "You can change in the bathroom, in here, honey." She showed her the room. Craig handed her the towel and the clothes and left her go in alone as he sat down and waited.
When Lilly emerged Craig looked her over. The girl in the office gave her a bag for her clothes, and Craig smiled at Lilly's reddening cheeks from the sunburn she received earlier that day.
"You're so cute." He smiled kissing her lips once they got outside.
Lilly smiled gently and leaned her head on his shoulder as they walked. "I'm tired." She yawned as they arrived back to the bus.
They both stepped on the bus and looked around at the party continuing. Anne was contently talking to Derrick; she had been most of the day. Emily was sitting on the couch in the back as Brad was cleaning up her knees and arm and putting Band-Aids on the scrapes.
"He's such a little bastard!" She demanded, obviously talking about Matt. "I hate him, he's not my brother and he never was." She growled not noticing Lilly crawling into Craig's bunk.
"I'll be back in a few minutes, I promise" Craig kissed Lilly's forehead and walked back out of the bus quickly.
By the time he got back Lilly was starting to warm up under the comforter. She listened to Emily complain for ten minutes, and she was still going on with berating her older brother.
Craig crawled into his bunk pulling the curtain shut behind himself as he pushed his body under the blanket; he connected his lips with Lilly's.
"Tomorrow we're sleeping in until two." Craig demanded.
"I'm okay with that." Lilly decided leaving her head fall against his chest.
"Have I told you that he's adopted? Because he is!" Emily could be heard again as she followed Brad back to the front of the bus. Craig and Lilly stared at each other chuckling.
Lilly's eyes fell closed as she cuddled against Craig, she felt like she had been awake for several years, and she was finally getting to sleep. She took in the scent lingering on Craig as she drifted off to sleep with him.
