Shaman King (voices of the wind) part 16

Kya slowly opened her eyes groaning gently from the pain going through her body; the pain of thousands of needles digging into her skin. She winced as she slowly sat up groaning. She looked around to see no one there except a sleeping Ren at her bedside. Kya shook her head gently and with a shaking hand removed the blankets from around her. Kya looked to see that the wounds she had received from Mana were almost fully healed along with others. She looked at her hand that was bandaged from her elbows to her knuckles. He arms were bandaged from the shoulder to about the elbow along with her legs that went from her thighs to her calfs were bandaged. She was wearing boy shorts and a dark purple tank top. She looked and saw her chest was bandaged aswell to her stomach. She heard the door open and quickly directed her head to it. Her eyes widened as she saw her hair get into her face but it lasted a while to get by her face before it was a quick swift of her short hair. She looked down and took her hair into her hands. It was longer. It was about a half inch longer it was just above her chest now. Kyas eyes were widened. Her stomach growled gently making her wince. How long as she been out? Was it really that long? Kya looked up to see a shocked Yoh standing beside the wall that covered the door. His eyes were wide and he dared not move an inch afraid that the image infront of him was a fake. Kya was confused by his actions.
"Yoh?" Kya said softly.
"Kya?" Yoh said in disbelief as his voice was slightly shaking. Kya who was more confused then before nodded. Yoh slowly walked to her. Kya stayed still waiting for the next thing to happen. Yoh was by her bedside and getly reaching out his hand slowly put his hand on her cheek. Kya just watched she didnt move away or anything. She was too confused to do that. Yohs eyes were more then widened then before that the imgae was real. "Kya?" You repeated in disbelief. Kya was now getting angered.
"Yoh" She said strictly. Yoh eye's widened more then his sweet smile returned to his face.
"Kya"
"Yoh if you dont tell me whats going on right now Ill make sure that your hospital bill will be something you cant pay off until you die." Yohs smiled happily.
"KYA!!!" Yoh yelled happily. Kya jumped back surprised ignoring the pain. Yoh turned around and took off running screaming Kyas name happily and that she was up. Kya starred of to where Yoh disappeared to confused.
"That wasinteresting." Kya said with confusion. Kya heard groaing and murmuring. She turned her head to see the stirring Ren gently waking up. Kya sighed in relief as she looked away from him and said softly. "Finally someone with some sense. Ren can you please" She turned to see Ren looking up at her silently with a shocked look. Kya sweatdropped. "Never mind" Kya thought. They both starred at each other for a long while in silence. Kya looked away and sighed.
"Kya?" Kya heard her name be said in disbelief. Kya turned and looked at Ren again.
"Yes?" Kya replied gently.
"Your awake?" Ren said hopefully that it wasn't a dream. Kya took a deep breath and nodded as she looked at him.
"Yes Ren Im awake. Now can you please-"
"Kya!" Ren screamed jumping onto the bed hugging her tightly like hell never let go as he was shaking. "Your awake." Ren said sadly. Kyas eyes were wide and gently hugged back. "Yes Ren Im awake." Ren hugged her tightly. Kya heard running towards the room and heard the door slam open and the entire gang was there.
"KYA!!!!" They all yelled. Now Kya was utterly confused like a deer in front of headlights.
"Yes its me." Kya said looking at them slowly letting go of Ren.
"YOUR AWAKE!!!" They all screamed.
"No I'm asleep can't you see?" Kya said sarcastically with a smirk. The gang laughed and jumped onto the bed laughing and started talking to her double-checking that it was a dream that she was up. Kya looked at the gang and shook her head. After a while Kya said out of the blue.
"How long have I been out?" The gang went completely silent then looked at each other.
"You don't know?" All of them except Ren said in unison. Kya looked like a child who was asked if they knew their ABC'c when they should but don't and shook her head. The group looked at each other then at Ren.
"You hungry?" Yoh asked. Kya knew something was up and nodded.
"Yes I am."
"We'll get you something." Horohoro said with his silly grin. Kya looked at him and nodded.
"Thank you" She was about to ask something else but they left leaving her with Ren. Ren stood up and stretched. Kya watched him as he walked to the window.
"Ren?" Kya asked as Ren leaned against wall looking out the window.
"You truly don't know how long you've been out?" Ren asked looking at her. Kya nodded. Ren sighed and looked out the window.

"Three weeks..." Ren said softly looking out. Kya's eyes widened.
"What? That can't bethat means" Kya said.
"We lost about a month from Patch Village."
"But why?! Why did you all stay?!" Ren looked out the window and didn't answer her. "Ren!" Kya said and slowly tried to get out of her bed but to only have pain shoot though her body.
"Don't Kya." Ren said still looking out the window into the busy streets. Kya only growled and continued. She took a step foreward and collapsed; her legs were useless. She felt as if she was a child who had to learn how to walk. Kya was on her hands and knees shaking.
"Itit can'tit can't have been the long!!! There's no way!" Kya screamed trying to get up. Ren turned and looked at her.
"Kya stop! Now!"
"No" Kya said shakingly tears forming. "No!" Kya said fighting to get up. Ren ran to her before she fell, her body shaking in his arms as she cried. "It can't be three weeks Ren" Ren sighed soflty and picked her up.
"Kya" Kya was silent as she looked at her hair.
"Why didn't you leave?! All of you!!!" Ren sighed softly and gently layed her on her bed.
"'Cause we'll catch up. It's not like we forgot all the information from the last tournament. Besides" Ren said as he got up. "You're our friend and friends don't leave each other behind" Kya looked at Ren shocked.
"It has been three weeks 'cause there no way in less then 3 weeks you could learn to say that." Ren growled as Kya looked at the ground and sighed soflty. Ren looked to the side.
"Don't flatter yourself I wanted to leave but Yoh insisted we stayed and kept giving me that damn speech." Kya looked at him and nodded.
"Of course" Kya stretched then layed on her back. She layed in silence for a couple of moments and then got back up. Ren was already laying some clothes for her. Kya looked at him and then slowly got out of bed. "I feel stupid for not being able to walk." Kya said trying to get her muscles working again. Ren came to her side and helped her. Jing who was hiding from Kya was using wind to help her. Kya kept her back straight and walked. Kya used Ren for support and stretched her legs getting the feeling in her legs back making her glad that she wasn't as useless as she thought. Kya then gently let go of Ren and began to walk on her own but slowly. Kya walked back and stood proudly smirking.
"Can't knock me down that easily." Ren looked at her and shook his head.
Three weeks?!

"I guess if you say so." Ren replied with a smirk. Kya shook her head. Kya had a tingling feeling in her legs but ignored it. She then smirked and stood defensive.
"Come on Ren." Kya motioned her fingers endicating for him to come at her. Ren looked at her with a blank expression and shooked his head as he looked away.
"No." He turned his back to her to only get hit in the head by a shoe. Kya was behind him smirking.
"You sure about that?" Ren stood still shaking.
"Now your gonna get it!!!" Ren said lunging at her. Kya quickly took a step to the side making her glad that her body is remembering her fighting movements. Ren threw a roundhouse kick as Kya ducked a swiped at his feet making Ren land on his butt. Kya quickly stood smirking. Then the door opened and everyone came in with A LOT of food. Kya eyes widened and shook her head as she looked back at Ren he sweeped at her feet making her fall on her butt next to him on the ground. Kya looked at Ren and growled. Ren growled back with a proud smirk.
"Baka"
"Hentai"
"I'm not bitch"
"Are to bastard." Kya replied pointing to her bandages around her chest and her change of clothes. Rens eyes widened and blushed looking away. "Just as I thought." Kya said with a smirk. She turned to the others and looked at the food. "What's the specal occasion?" Kya asked as she looked at them in confusion as they placed that food down.
"YOU WAKING UP!!!" They all said in unison happily. Kya sighed and shook her head. To her surprise Miruuki was with them.
"Miruuki?" Kya said surprised looking up at her.
"Kya?" Miruui surprised. "They told me you were up but I didn't believe it."
"And why not?" Kya asked susipcous.
"You took a major beating." Kya smirked.
"Nothing new. I've been through worst beating. I've been out I think the most was a month and a half." Kya said trying to rmember. "Right Jing?" Kya looked to her side seeing Jing standing beside her with a soft smile and a nod.
"Yes mistress." Kya nodded and looked at Miruuki with a smirk.
"Disappointed I'm up?" Miruuki eyes widened as she looked Kya and smiled.
"Of course not." Miruuki said with shock. Kya stood up and walked past her watching her as she passed. Ren looked at Miruuki and mouthed.
"It's okay." Miruuki nodded and sat next to Ren talking to him.
Yeah!^^ Kya and Ren are back to hating each other!^^
That's weird...what's up with Miruuki?
Kya talked to the guys and was about to begin to eat till she looked at the corner of her eye to see Miruuki be too close to Ren and Ren have his hand on her shoulder and the both of them smiling and talking happily. Kya's eyes widened and dropped her food.
"Hey Kya!" Horo said shocked grabbing on her just in case.
"Are you okay?!" Yoh asked shocked by her side. Kya looked to the ground slightly shaking.
"Yes I'm fine." Kya said standing up and brushed her hair out her face and nodded. She felt tears from and closed her eyes tightly there was a feeling in her chest she had never felt before that shot though her whole body. She looked to see Ren staring at her with slight shockness. Miruuki looked at her slightly afriad "I just need some air. I'll be back." Kya said looking away. The gang looked at each other unsure but nodded. "Yeah sure Kya it's fine." Yoh said with a smile. Kya nodded and grabbed her normal clothes and changed in the bathroom. She came out to see everyone eating and talking happily between them selves. Kya felt so weird as she saw this scene all she felt like doing was crying. She turned away and grabbed her bag and put on her bracelet. She was glad that her body didn't feel any different then she thought she would have. Kya opened the door and walked out silently being followed by Jing. Kya pressed the elevator and went through the door silently. Kya stood in the elevator silently as her bangs that had also botten longer covered her eyes as tears feels from her eyes tracing down her soft face.
"Mistress?" Jing asked confused as Kya wiped her tears.
"It's nothing Jing." Kya said looking up at her spirit ally with a nod. Jing sighed softly and nodded back. Kya walked out of the elevator and out of the hotel. Kya walked in silence with Jing next to her for about an hour in as millions of words, thoughts, and memories ran through her mind. Kya stopped suddenly and looked at Jing and nodded. Jing nodded and disappeared.
Awww....poor Kya.
Why did Jing leave?
Kya looked to her side and saw Hao.
"What do you want?" Kya said bitterly.
"Long time no see...Chin-san" Kya growled and glared.
"I would have preferred longer." Hao chuckled and walked towards Kya as she took a step back but he was soon behind her and had his arms wrapped around her.
"I'm glad you're alright. Three weeks was a long time." Hao whispered into her ear softly. Kya's eyes widened and try to hit him but he moved out of the way quickly but Kya moved with him. Kya growled and placed her hand on the floor and tried to round house kick him but to only have her foot grabbed. Kya growled and tried to kick him again but to only have her second caught. Kya used one arm to keep her up and twisted her body to look at him. She growled angrily and glared hatredly at him to only have Hao smirk. "Don't be mad at me, you brought this on yourself and you know it." Kya growled angrily and banged her right hand on the ground to have a dagger fall silently into her hand and threw it at Hao to only have him receive a cut on the cheek. Hao felt it and growled and flipped Kya's legs so she did a full 360 and fell onto the ground hard landing hard on her ground. She yelped in pain as she felt pain surge through her body. Kya looked up but before she could react Hao was already onto of her with his hand to her neck smirking. "Don't challenge me." Kya looked at him growling making him smirk more. "I like itbut you should know better." Hao heard running towards them and smirked more then before. He leaned down to her. "Just to get back at your friend and to get you mad." Kya eyes widened as she felt Hao's lips touch her gently. Kya closed her eyes trying to push Hao off but he was way to strong. Kya heard running towards them and silence. Hao smirked and he broke the kiss and whispered into her. "Don't forgetI still have plans." Then disappeared. Kya layed on the ground and groaned.

"KYA!!!" Kya heard her name. She turned and looked to See Ren standing still in shocked as the gang ran past her. Yoh helped her up wrapping his arm around his shoulder.
"What happened?! What was Hao doing here?!" Yoh said walking towards everyone with Kya.
"He" Next thing Kya knew was she was ripped from Yoh and pushed back hard by Ren.
"You Traitor!!!" Ren yelled at her. Kya eyes widened and backed up.
"Ren! Cool it!" Horo yelled at him.
"Kya was kissing Hao!" Kya stood there tears forming in her eyes. Everyone's eyes widneed and looked at her.
"Kya? Is that true?" Yoh asked in disbelief. Kya growled and suddenly a blast of wind pushed Ren to the ground hard.
"YOU SHUT UP REN!!! IF YOU MIND WASN'T IN LA LA LAND WITH MIRUUKI YOU WOULD KNOW BETTER!!!" Kya screamed in anger as Ren looked at her shocked. Kya shook her head and took off running fast with Jing at her side. After a while Kya stopped running and took a deep sigh and sat next to the fountain that was the center of the town. Kya closed her eyes gently as memories of a shadowed man appeared in her mind. Kya whimpered gently as tears fall as she sang softly Cofession of a broken heart to herself with Jing by her side.

Tears feel from her face as she wiped them remembering getting thrown against a wall and getting cuts and beaten from objects in the shadows. When she was doen she gently opened her eyes to see a boy standing in fornt of her with brown hair and eyes wearing a read bandana. Kya's eyes widened as she looked at him. He smirked as he looked at her.
Ouch...that had to hurt Ren...
Who he?
"You a a beautiful voice." Kya looked at him shocked and nodded.
"Thank you" the boy silently examined Kya.
"You a shaman?" He asked bluntly as he was still close and infront of her. Kya nodded slowly.
"Your not going to make it far the way you are." Kya's eyes widend and growled and slapped him across the face hard. The boy smirked and pushed Kya into the fountain making her fall into the cold water. She got out of the water shaking and growling. "Your to quick to act that you leave yourself open." Kya growled.
"Shut updon't teach me how to fight." Kya said got out of the fountain and ringed her hair of the water. The boy walked to her and held out his hand.
"I'm Kino." Kya starred at it then let her hair go and took his hand and shook it then suddenly the boy went flying into the fountain with a combination of wind and strength. As the boy came out to the water Kya starred at him.
"I'm Kya." They both looked at each other and said at the same time with bitterness in their voices.
"Nice to meet you." Kino took off his bandana and twisted it getting all the water out. Kino looked at her and smirked as he shaked his hair. "Look, there's a training camp for Shaman's on the way to Patch Village. It will only be a couple of days starting tomorrow at the end of this town a mile north you'll reach a plain and a lot of camp's set up. I'm the trainer there and I think it would help you." Kya looked at him.
"And how would it help me?" Kya asked. Kino smirked.
"You'll see." Kino said walking off.
"But"
"It's up to you to show up but by that song you sang I know it'll help you." Kya's eyes widened and suddenly gust of wind picking up dirt flied by Kya forcing her to cover he face. She looked back to were Kino was to see him gone. Kya stood still and looked to were Kino was once standing.
"Mistress?" Jing questioned. Kya turned to her best friend and nodded. Ing understood what was going and nodded back with a smirk. Kya looked back to were Kino was standing.
"If he's right. It's maybe time I fight my ghosts."
"Kya?" Kya heard a familiar voice. Kya sighed and didn't turn to look at him. "What do you want Ren?" Ren stood beside her and sighed.
Here's Kino!^^

"I'm sorry for judging you and your right I wasn't thinking. But I wasn't in La La land with Miruuki." Kya looked to him from the side of her eyes and sighed softly. "Nothing is going on between me and Miruuki."
"Didn't seem that way." Ren sighed softly and got infornt of her so she looked at him.
"Its nothing! Okay and why do you care?"
"Because I don't want anything to get in your way" Ren eyes widened and sighed.
"Nothing will." Kya sighed soflty and nodded. Then gang showed up and said sighly.
"Is the coast clear?" Kya and Ren looked at each other then at the gang and nodded.
"Yeah." They said in unison.
"So how are we gonna start for Patch Village?" Ryu said. Kya looked to were Kino stood and smirked softly.
"I have an idea were to start."
