For all I know, Miley and Nick could be sucking face and laughing about my silly little crush on him. Well, once they were done sucking face, of course. UGH! I hate this!
"Guess what?" Joe asked, poking his head into my bunk.
"What, Joe?" If he's going to talk about Nick again, I swear I'm going to--
"We have a concert tonight," He shared. I'm going to...do nothing, because he never mentioned him. "Where's Nick?" I spoke too soon. I shrugged my shoulders and turned my back to him. Who cares where he is. Joe got out of my bunk and dialed a familiar number, "Dude, you have to come back on the bus, I need to talk to you about something." I ignored what he was saying and continued to sulk in my bunk. Because I'm just lame like that.
I maybe layed in bed for half an hour before I heard extra noises walking into the bus. "What'd you want to talk to me about, Joe?" Nick asked. Joe abruptly opened my curtains, as I threw the covers over my head. I wanted to know what they were talking about and they wouldn't say anything if I was wide awake and listening. I'm such a nosey person, I agree. "What are you doing?"
Joe pressed a finger to his lips, shushing Nick. "It's about her." Nick nodded and sat on the couch. "How could you be so stupid?" He harshly whispered, shocking Nick for a second. "No offense, but she is WAY better than Miley."
"What are you talking about? I can't go out with Holly!" Nick said.
"And why not?" Joe asked, continuing to stand in front of Nick.
"Because!"
"Because what?" Joe yelled. So much for keeping quiet, Joe. Am I a deep sleeper? Who cares, now I am! I kept quiet, exhaling slowly. What's your reason, Nick?
"Because i don't want to lose her as a best friend." he said, covering his face with his hands. "It's so entirely cliche in every aspect, but i can't help it. We'll break up and she'll never speak to me again."
"What happened to being Mr. Positive, huh?" Joe asked. "Are you telling me that you're going to break up with her if you ever go out?" Yeah, Nick, is that why?
"No!" He yelled. And he knows how to keep quiet too, doesn't he? Where's Kevin?
Joe glared at Nick, "Then what's stopping you?" He asked. I love Joe right now. Nick looked down, "You really like Miley, don't you?" Nick nodded.
"But I really do like Holly also." Nick added. "I'm so confused." Me too.
I heard the door to the bus open again, figuring it was Kevin, which it was once I heard him asking what was going on. Joe filled him in on what was happening. And can you believe it? Kevin said some wise, wise words. If only it was about someone else and not me.
"Nick, this is going to sound weird, because when I usually give people advice, I'm telling them to listen to their heart, but you're listening to your heart and not using your head. Yeah, I know you're giving me those 'wtf' looks, but check this, you need to ask yourself these questions. Do you think going out with Miley is worth it? Who do you have better conversations with? Who pops up more in your head? Holly or Miley?" Kevin spoke out. "I have more, but you get the point."
"Think about it, Nick."
Joe and Kevin both went out to go get something to eat, picking up lunch for Holly on the way back. Nick sat on the couch, elbows resting on his thighs, face in hand. His head was whirling with different emotions. First of all, he was confused. Second, he was angry at everyone for bothering him with this subject. Third, he was sad he had to choose between two of the girls he liked. And what bothered him the most, he just couldn't choose.
"I wish this would all just go away," He whispered, rubbing his face.
If that's what he wants, so be it. Nick Jonas, you won't have to worry about me anymore. Have fun with Miley.
