Early Saturday morning everyone packed up in Andrea's car. She had to borrow her moms van to fit all the girls, and Tim in the car. Lilly had even convinced Anne to come.
The entire ride to Indiana was spent laughing at elaborate stories that Tim told, Lilly questioned if most of them were even close to being true. Tim demanded that he would turn the car around if she didn't stop questioning him, though he wasn't the one driving. When Tim couldn't think of any more stories to tell, he and Emily sang whatever they could on the radio to entertain mostly themselves.
When they finally arrived it was starting to get warm out. They showed a pass that allowed them parking where the busses by the hundreds so it seemed were parked, a few vans, but most of it was buses. Andrea pulled in to a parking space that seemed miles away from where they were going to be seeing the guys' bus.
It seemed like they walked forever till they found it. When they did it looked like nobody was even awake yet. Andrea knocked lightly on the door; a scream from someone could be heard. Then the door flung open, Dakotah stared at them with a disgusted look on his face.
"Ew." He wrinkled his nose.
"You know you're excited we're here, keep your mouth shut." Andrea stated in a low tone.
"Hey Matt, someone's here for you." He yelled across the bus.
"Who is it?" He asked, obviously annoyed in the morning.
"I don't know, come here." He yelled.
"Ask who they are." He demanded.
"Just come here." Dakotah whined.
"Oh my God, Dakotah." He growled walking from the back.
When his eyes met with the girls standing outside the bus he lunged at Andrea throwing his arms around her. Brad, obviously interested in what was going on came out as well, excited as ever to see Emily. The girls made it on to the bus and everything was up in a stir. The only person nowhere to be found was Craig, Lilly was going to ask, but she was trying to make Anne comfortable in front of everyone.
"You guys are so fucking loud, I just want to sleep! I can't do that because again you woke me up!" Craig yelled from the back.
Everyone got quiet for a minute.
"He's been a tad irritable for the past two days." Brad whispered, using his index finger and thumb to describe the tad part of the statement.
"Maybe we should go get some food!" Matt demanded, more than suggested.
"Hey Craig!" Pat yelled.
"Shut up!" He yelled back.
"You hungry?" He asked, not taking the anger in his voice into consideration.
"Leave!" He whined annoyed.
Everyone quickly got out of the bus; Lilly followed, and stopped Jason, Derrick, and Tim as she and Anne stood just outside the door.
"Think you guys could show her around and keep her entertained?" Lilly asked looking at the three boys.
"Are you kidding?" Jason stared at her for a moment. "Of course!" He grabbed her arm and linked it in his own; Tim was quick to do the same with her other.
She turned to look at Lilly with a look of almost fear on her face. "Have fun, I know you will." Lilly called after her.
As she waved to the others walking off she watched them till they were out of distance before returning to the bus. She quietly closed the door behind her and walked to the back looking for the bunk Craig occupied. She figured it had to be the only one with a closed curtain unless he suddenly turned invisible.
She pushed back the curtain gently and stared at him as he as close to the wall as he could possibly get with his arms crossed like he was a little boy in trouble. His eyes were squinted shut from what Lilly could see as he was facing the wall.
She crawled in and pulled the curtain closed behind her.
"Pat, it was funny the first time, it was kind of funny the second time, and the last five times; it's not funny anymore." He stated with a large sigh.
She didn't speak but only ran her fingers along his arm.
"Okay now it's just creepy!" He demanded flipping around, and opening his eyes. When he seen her he didn't hesitate to throw his arms around her. "Lilly!" He practically squealed. She giggled as he hugged her tightly and then pushed their lips together.
Lilly almost forgot how amazing it was to be able to kiss him, and for him to just grab her and kiss her at any random moment like he always did. When he pulled away he pushed his forehead against hers. "I missed you so much." He cupped each of her cheeks and stared in her eyes like she was a little kid. "Oh, I love you!" He pushed their lips together again, and ran his long fingers through her hair.
Once he pulled away from the 'I missed you' kiss that turned into ten minutes of making out, Lilly spoke.
"If you're going to kiss me like that every time we're apart for two months, I think we should stay apart more often." She giggled.
"No way." He kissed her nose.
Lilly just chuckled, as she played with his hair.
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" He asked.
"Because, I figured it'd be a nice surprise." She smiled softly.
"It's an amazing surprise." He kissed her again, wrapping his arms around her tightly.
"Maybe we should go get something to eat, I know you, and I bet you haven't eaten since yesterday morning." Lilly informed him.
"Maybe we should just stay here." He cuddled his face into her neck as he huddled up in the blankets a bit more.
"We have all weekend to cuddle in this little box, lets go eat and hang out with everyone." She suggested, trying to get him up and out. "Plus I left Anne with Jason, Derrick, and Tim. I'm a little worried." She stated.
Craig chuckled. "That poor, poor girl." He shook his head standing and stretching, Lilly smiled at the way his shirt rose as he bent half backwards. "What are you looking at?" He wiggled his eyebrows at her grabbing a pair of jeans.
"Nothing." She shook her head as he changed quickly, like he was a pro.
"Yeah, right nothing." He winked grabbing her hand as he nudged her out the door.
