**Brooke's POV**
"You're tacky and I hate you." I said throwing my pillow at Nick when School of Rock ended.
"Ouch, that hurt." Nick said holding his hand over his heart.
"I love you," I said smiling.
"Well I'm mad at you." He said sticking out his tongue.
"Dork," I replied tossing out the now empty Chips Ahoy! container.
"I am so bored!"
"Wanna come over for dinner?" Nick asked.
"Mom is making spicy dumplings."
"Oh Joe's favorite?" I questioned laughing.
"Of course,"
"Sure, why not." I said getting up. "Race you,"
I sprinted out the door with Nick close on my heels. We should have known better than to run down the stairs because when Nick turned the corner he crashed into me causing us to both topple down.
I landed with a thud as Nick fell on top of me.
"Ow!" I replied laughing.
"Sorry," He said jumping up and holding out his hand to help me up.
We both looked at each other and fell over laughing.
"Anyone home?" Joe asked opening the door. "Hey what's so funny?" He asked looking down at Nick and I in a fight of laughter.
"Nothing," We both said looking at one another.
"Awkward," Joe replied rolling his eyes.
"So what's up?" I asked Joe. "I was just coming over for dinner. I heard you are having spicy dumplings."
"Uh huh!" Joe said nodding his head like a bobble head.
I rolled my eyes.
"Um...actually I came over to ask you to come outside, but I guess I didn't have to." Joe said.
"Okay," I replied looking at him weird.
"Nick, you have to stay here with me." Joe said walking into my house.
"Alright?" Nick said almost as a question.
"Go," Joe replied pushing me out the door.
~~~OUTSIDE~~~
I laughed at Joe's actions before turning around.
There before me stood Kevin and his guitar.
"No laughing okay?" He said before he started playing.
**Kevin's POV**
I held my breath while I waited for Brooke to come outside.
When she did I froze. She was beautiful even in a pair of sweatpants and an oversized hoodie.
"No laughing okay," I said when she saw me.
She nodded and I started playing and singing "Don't Tell Anyone"

When I finished Brooke just stared at me.
"Please say something," I said now shuffling my feet.
"I...I...I don't know what to say Kev," She said walking towards me.
"I...I..." But she couldn't finish. She reached me and I couldn't contain myself.
I pulled her gently into my and kissed her with everything that I had.
**Brooke's POV**
When Kevin kissed me I felt my toes curl. I loved it. We broke apart and smiled.
"I love you Kevin," I said before he pulled me into another kiss.
When we broke apart he pushed the stray hairs of my bangs behind my ears.
"I love you too Brooke." He confessed. "I don't know why it was so hard for me to say. I have written a thousand songs about you, but somehow this one seemed to explain it all."
"It's okay," I said hugging him. "We're together now."
"I know," He said smiling. "And I thank God for that."
I smiled and kissed him again. I loved it. I never wanted to stop.
"Wanna ditch your brothers and go see a movie and get something to eat after?" I suggested.
"Our first official date?" Kevin questioned.
"Yup," I said nodding.
"Let's do it." Kevin said grabbing my hand.
We got in the car and sped away just as Nick and Joe were running down my sidewalk.
"BYE!" I yelled out the window after them.
**Kevin's POV**
We just turned onto the highway when I got a call from my mom.
"Hey mom," I said picking up.
"Kevin where are you? Dinner is on the table."
"Oh I'm sorry," I began. "But Brooke and I wanted to have some time together."
"Oh, I see." My mom said. I could tell she was smiling. "You finally told her?"
"Yeah," I said smiling myself.
"Well just don't be home late."
"I promise. 11 the latest."
"I would say 10 because you do have a show tomorrow, but seeing you are with Brooke I'll extend curfew just this once."
"I love you mom," I said.
"I love you too," She said hanging up.
"You're mom isn't mad is she?" Brooked asked.
"No, she is estastic because I'm with you."
"You told her?" Brooke said blushing.
"She's my mom. I tell her everything."
Brooke laughed and grabbed one my hands lacing it with hers.
"Good, because I wouldn't want to keep this from anyone."
"Are you going to tell your family?" I asked.
"Um...sure. When they get back." Brooke said.
"It's okay if you don't." I replied. "I know that whole situation with them is kinda rough."
"No, I want to Kev. I want to tell the entire world I am in head over heels, completely 100% in love with Paul Kevin Jonas II."
I laughed and felt my cheeks turn hot.
"And I want the entire world to know that I'm in love with Brooke Katherine Larkin." I said tightening my grip on her hand.
"And I couldn't be more happier." Brooke said.
And with that, I knew I couldn't get happier.
