Hannah watched Sweeney sleep for a few minutes. She didn't exactly realize that she was doing so until she heard a noise, around 20 minutes later. She hadn't a clue what it could've been, maybe a rat running around in the back. She sighed, standing from her chair. Her mental light-bulb went off: She would make Sweeney breakfast!
Oo, food!
A good, hardy breakfast always made Hannah feel better. She still couldn't comprehend- and probably never could- what Sweeney had gone throuhgh the day before. She skipped into the kitchen, silently. The last thing she wanted was a grumpy Sweeney Todd.
She opened one of the cupboards. "Eh?" she grunted, seeing that all of her fresh food had been left open. She sighed. "Have to get more," she mumbled.
She walked back into her bedroom. Quietly, she changed into some new clothes- since she was still in her funeral clothes- and her thick coat. She glanced at the window. It was dark. She took a deep breath. Darkness...
O.o
Bad things always happened in the darkness. Death, attacks, robberies...Hannah shut her eyes. She shook off the thought. Sweeney would need some food when he woke up, and Hannah would be the one to fetch it for him. Besides, she's tough. She'll make it through the night...right? The questions ran around her mind. She held her breath. She shut her closet and walked out of her room, leaving the door wide open. She pondered if she should leave a note for Sweeney...but, he wouldn't wake up until she was back. She knew. Hannah walked out into the hallway, looked back to Sweeney, then walked out the door and into the dark morning streets of London.
Creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.
Sweeney woke just minutes later. He looked around, seeing that he was on the couch. He smiled a satisfactory smile. He stood from the couch. "Hannah?" he called, quietly. He guessed that she was still asleep. He walked back to her room. In the hall, he passed the mirror. He stopped. The guaze on his neck caught his eye. He looked at it in his reflection. Absentmindedly, he raised his hand to touch it. Feeling it on his fingertips, he freaked out. He pulled his hand away quickly. He shook his head and continued back to Hannah's room.
Awh...
He noticed that the door was cracked open. His eyebrow raised. He distinctly remembered shutting it. "Odd." he said, pushing the door all the way open. She wasn't in her bed. Sweeney swallowed. "Hannah?" he called, louder. "Hannah? Where are you?"
Frantically, Sweeney began looking for her. "Hannah?!" he shouted. After stumbling through the house almost five times, he noticed that the front door was unlocked. He gasped. He looked at the window. It was still dark outside. He looked behind him, seeing the darkness outside. He grabbed his coat, threw it on, and headed out the door. [But not before locking it behind him].
Hope you liked it. Next one's a comin!
