Ok, last chapter, riku looked afta a lifeless zexion(or is he dead???) while mikki went 2 get her Light Blade. luxord appeared while she woz gone, & wen she got back they decided 2 duel. oh, & thanks to yangel20 for alot of these ideas!!!
I smiled when I remembered what a duel meant to Luxord. I knew I could beat him easily at this.
A small card table suddenly appeared between us, followed by two very ornate chairs. Riku just stared and shook his head. Luxord sat down and summoned a deck of cards. I sat down opposite him and lifted the cards to examine and deal them. Then we started to play.
“One, two, three, spit!” we shouted in unison. I rocked at this game. Not many people could beat me.
We were slamming cards down on the table faster than Riku could see, Zexion lying forgotten behind his wall of darkness.
“Ha! I win that round!” I exclaimed, raising my hands in triumph. Luxord grumbled and gathered up his cards. I did the same, laying them out again to get ready for the next round. Then I summoned my blade. “AAAAHHHHHHH!!!” I ran at Luxord, swinging as hard as I could, while he just stood and let me attack. This was a great card game. Except if you lose a round. Then it can get painful. Ha ha, Luxord. Ha ha.
We sat back down to resume the game, Luxord rubbing his side where my blade had struck him. I grinned evilly.
“Spit!” We shouted again. Riku sighed and sank down to the ground in boredom. I summoned a few dusks and shadows to amuse him.
“Oh, thanks a lot.” He said, as he swung at a particularly feisty shadow.
“No problem.” I replied, not taking my eyes off the game. “Ha! I’m the winner! Yes!” I stood up to do a victory dance. Luxord just lowered his head in shame.
“Ok, you win this time. I’ll do a deal with you. Since you won, I’ll give you a two day head start before I try to hunt you down again. Then we have a rematch. If I win that, I take you to Xemnas. If I lose that, I stop following you. Is that a deal?” Luxord always made deals like this. I think that’s why he had a gambling problem. He never knew where to stop.
“Fine. Deal.” I shook his hand before he walked away into a portal. I clicked my fingers to stop the dusks and shadows ripping Riku to pieces, and then told him to hurry up and follow me. He just lay on the ground panting until I dissolved the dark force field and lifted Zexion. “Why am I always the one to carry everyone around?” I asked, exasperated.
“I dunno. I’ll take him, if you really want me to.” Riku suggested.
“All right, if you insist.” I dumped Zexion’s lifeless form on his shoulder, catching it again before Riku fell to the ground under the weight. “I knew that would happen.” I laughed, and created my own portal.
“Wait for me!” Riku scrambled to his feet and just reached the entryway before it closed.
**Riku’s P.O.V**
‘That was the most boring battle I have EVER seen!’ I thought to myself. I didn’t dare say it out loud though, in case Mikki heard me. 'I mean, CARDS??! How could anyone find that an interesting battle?' I sighed and shook my head, before looking up from my feet to see where we were.
As my eyes roamed around the dark scenery, I suddenly recognized a small white floating thing. It was shaped a lot like a small dog without legs, and it had a bright red glowing nose, like Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. It was Zero, Jack Skellington’s dog.
“Hey, Zero!” I bent down to pet the ghost dog, remembering at the last second that this wasn’t exactly possible and feeling like an idiot for even trying. “Wow. What’s happened to this place?”
“Jack decided to go for a bit of a different theme this year. He’s redecorating slightly.” Mikki walked up behind me, still carrying Zexion. “We’re staying in this world for the night. The Professor’s giving us a room.”
I gulped. “Ok then…” I was a little unsure about this. I mean, yea, I like Halloween enough, with the trick-or-treating and the costumes, but the idea of staying in the places where all the ideas of spookiness come from? I don’t think so. Mikki started heading towards Dr. Finklestein’s house. I followed with reluctance, dragging my feet.
As I did so, I noticed the made a more metallic noise than they should, and also that they were giving off sparks. I stopped to look at my shoes, and stared in surprise to see black steel-capped boots with a freaky design on them. I ran to the guillotine to look at my reflection, checking out what else I was wearing. I noticed vampire fangs, metal shoulder plates, and a pair of small bat-like wings protruding from my back. I smiled to myself. I looked good.
“Ok, you can check yourself out later. Just hurry up. Seriously, you do not want to be left out here after dark. I know from experience.” I started out of my daydreams and looked at Mikki, only just now seeing her properly since her ‘battle’ with Luxord.
Her long black coat had disappeared and a black corset-style top and long skirt had taken its place. She looked evil. “Stop gawking and hurry up!” Needless to say, I followed without question.
ok, ok, pplz. get your heads outta the gutter. he's freaked out, not 'amused'. ok,i was gonna make mikki tell riku some of her memories from the organization in this one, but it was getting to long, & my fingers are getting sore from typing. so, any ideas of memories she could hav(past boyfriends, bestfriends, fights, pranks or anything)plz tell me. i have a couple of ideas for the pranks part, but thats about it...
