The Time Has Come My Love (Chapter 8)

The sun fell onto your face awakening you, for some reason you felt very weak and soar. Not wanting to get up you closed your eyes and searched for the the little black hole that took you under its sleeping spell. "___________, come on wake up. You have been a sleep forever, you need to wake up."
Gabriel's voice floated to you in your little dark hole, it bugged you and you soon pushed it away. However another unfamiliar voice floated over to you and this one caught your interest for some odd reason.

"Lord Zander, you should lay down. You look very weak."

"I might, her cut must of already healed for mine has already. It will take a lot to hurt her now and the guys will not even know I was here, she will think it was only a dream."

"Why did you not take her then?"

"She passed out, even if she did not I would not of taken her."

"Why not? She is a slut living in a house-" Whimpering could be heard in the background as Zander spoke in anger.

"I will kill you if you ever talk about her like that again!" The voices disappeared and you opened your eyes slowly, Gabriel stood over you with a relieved expression on his face.

"You have been a sleep for a long time, I was beginning to worry about you."

"I am glad you woke me up. I was having a nightmare of sorts, though I don't hurt anymore." Gabriel's face went worried and you mentally cursed yourself for saying anything.

"What did you dream about ________." Looking away you fought of the impulse to tell him the truth, now able to you stared him in his surprised eyes.

"Just a nightmare Gabriel, nothing more." Gabriel gently grabbed your face and looked you in the eyes, the truth was on the tip of your tongue but you fought it even more.
"Gabriel! It is just a nightmare!" While yelling at him his face fell to pain and he hung his head like a puppy who was in trouble.

"Lunch is downstairs, come down when you are ready."

"Gabriel." You went out to reach him but he shut the door softly behind him, completely ignoring you. Feeling awful you began to get ready, dressed in a simple outfit you went out of your room. There was no noise whatsoever in the house, it began to freak you out as you remembered your nightmare.
Wondering where everyone was at you shouted out, hoping Gabriel didn't leave you here alone out of anger.
Ohhh...I feel bad now...
Wait...Gabriel would never leave me...
Well he should not of pushed me so...
He should not of been getting the truth of me like that...I would of told him if he asked.

"Hello! Is anyone here?"
"Down here __________." Hearing Gabriel's voice you let out a sigh. Walking downstairs you saw Gabriel down at the end, you gave him a weak smile as he gave you a sad one.

"Gabriel, I am so sorry, I feel so bad for yelling at you." He shrugged and smiled a stronger one.

"Don't worry about it. I should not of tried to get the truth out of you like that, it was not fair of me to." Smiling you thanked him. "Now, how about lunch?"
The mention of food made you recall how hungry you were, you had not eaten for a while and it explained why you were so sore when you awoke. Gabriel laughed at your expression and took your arm. "Come on, the food is this way." Looking at him with a question in your eyes you let him lead you to the kitchen, when you got there your mouth dropped.

The room was huge with yellow walls and wood flooring, in the middle was a long table with tons of food on it. Turning to Gabriel his face was red. "I am the only cook here, I didn't know what you liked so I made various plates. Plus you looked hungry."
You both sat down beginning to eat and talk about anything you two could think of. Finding out that the guys were on a mission to find out exactly what Zander was doing, you began to worry for Zander and the guys. Not knowing why you worried about him, you suddenly just did.
When you guys were finished you went out into the backyard to sit out in the sun and talk about more things.

"Hey Gabriel?"

"Hmm?"

"I was wondering...What is it like to fly?"

"It is nice. One of my favorite things about being an angel."

"I bet. I mean the wind blowing in your hair, the feeling of being free."

"You want to fly?"
Hell yeah!
Yes! I would love to!

Eyes widening you nodded quickly in excitement, laughing Gabriel got up and walking into the sun. Watching in awe you saw him close his eyes and was blinded by a bright light for a second, when you could see you gasped as you saw two magnificent white wings. Slowly you walked up to him seeing that his shirt had fallen to the ground, you reached him and gently ran your hand through his wing. It was so soft against your skin better then the touch of velvet, the power that came from that one touch was so pure.

"Can you feel this Gabriel?" He kept his eyes closed as he nodded his head. "Does it hurt at all?" You asked this as you saw his face get red wondering why he was so embarrassed you were about to ask him as he started to explain himself.

"You know that when vampires draw blood it causes pleasure?" Nodding you got the idea and ran your hands through his wings once more, causing him to shiver in pleasure. Turning around Gabriel opened his eyes and picked you up; jumping in the air so high you gasped from the pressure and the height one jump got him.
Finally he stopped gaining height right where you could see everything and no one could see you.

"Wow it is so beautiful up here."

"Yeah it is my second favorite spot." Looking up you met his eyes.

"What is your first favorite spot?"

"A place that holds many memories and is hidden away."

"Is it in heaven?" Gabriel laughed and shook his head causing you to blush this time.

"No actually it is down here. Let me show you." He flew straight down making some turns here and there all the while you were enjoying the feeling of the wind and the freedom.
Suddenly he lowered you down to the ground, in front of you were tons of trees with only a small opening. Gabriel grabbed your hands telling you to close your eyes, doing so you let him lead you across corners and twigs.
After many tripping and falls he stopped and told you to open your eyes.

It was one of the most beautiful places you have seen, in the middle a clear blue lake was situated while the sun poured out on top of it making it gleam. Flowers bloomed in every color and corner while a large boulder was sitting in the shade. Walking in front of Gabriel you smiled.
"It is so beautiful here." Gabriel stared at your back and smiled.

"Yes it is." Right then and there Gabriel wanted to go and kiss you. Taking long strides out to you he wrapped his arms around you.

"Gabriel what are you doing?" Your question making him lose his nerve he picked you up and jumped into the lake. Coming up for air you started to laugh, when he came up for air you let him get some and then pushed him back down.
Quickly you tried to get out but you felt him grab your leg and pulls you back down. Quickly he got back out and stood in the middle of the sun waiting for you as he laughed. He was struck by how your beauty as you pushed your head out of the water getting air back in your lungs.

Pushing yourself out of the water you looked towards Gabriel who was in awe for some reason, then you noticed how handsome he looked. His skin gleamed in the sun as the drops of water slowly rolled along his muscular chest. His white hair stuck against his face framed his icy blue eyes that looked out at you.
Now standing on the dry land you slowly walked over to him, both holding the gaze you stopped in front of him. He held out his hand to you and you took it, he pulled you into a long passionate kiss.

It was sweet, pure and full of love. You were surprised about it, however you did enjoy it and wanted it. The feeling of flying captured you and you looked down breaking the kiss, you were once again high in the air.
Looking back up to see Gabriel smiling down at you, he held you closer to him and kissed you once again then whispered into your ear. "I am so glad I did that, now I will not have any regrets whatsoever." The kiss filled you up with so much pureness, warmth and calmness.

"Sadly it is late and we need to beat the guys back." With that he flew off at high speed, the wind drying you both off. He landed at your window and you reluctantly crawled out of his warm arms and into your room.
Before you could close it he cupped your chin and whispered to you. "Thanks, I really needed this day." He then flew down to the front door as you closed the window and collapsed on your bed with a smile.
A thought hit Gabriel that made him nervous as you gladly got ready for bed.
Oh that was so sweet!
