"Spencer, what the hell are you doing?" Elaine asked, walking into the living room, and seeing her best friend laying up side down on the couch.
"Playing the Wii upside down," Spencer said as if it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Elaine shook her head and, sat beside her up side down friend.
"Wow, you suck," Elaine said, seeing that the tennis score was 0 to 40.
"Hey! You try playing tennis up side down," Spencer muttered.
Elaine jumped when she heard the door bell ring.
"I'll get it..." She said.
Elaine opened the door, and was greeted by the cold Jersey air, and the many frozen looking faces of her friends.
She laughed slightly, "Come in guys," she said, stepping aside.
"Fuck, its cold!" Gerard said, his teeth chattering.
They all made their way into the living room making themselves comfortable.
"Hey Mikey, did you know that it's really hard to play the Wii upside down?" Spencer asked.
Mikey cast Spencer a strange look, "Well Spencer, I'd imagine that almost any game is hard to play upside down."
"No! Mario Sunshine isn't!" Spencer defended.
Everyone shook their heads.
"You're such a freak Spencer..." Elaine muttered.
"Hey! Speaking of freaks, have you guys heard of the new game..."
By this time Elaine tuned out.
She continued to watch Spencer get his ass kicked by the computer, with unfocused eyes.
"Elly! Elly wake up!"
Elaine picked up her head, and look over at Frank, who had been shaking her.
"I wasn't sleeping," She stated.
"Yeah, I know. But, you were just staring at the TV, without blinking so I thought you were dead, or sleeping with your eyes opened."
Elaine gave him a blank stare, "I'm awake," She stated bluntly.
Frank rolled his eyes, "I can see that. So are you going to start helping me with English III?"
Elaine sighed, "Yeah, I guess."
"Okay!" Frank said, jumping up and running to get his messenger bag.
Elaine walked to the refrigerator and got a class of water, and then sat down at the table with Frank.
"Okay, what do you need help with?" Elaine asked.
"Well, almost everything--" Frank was interrupted by yells from the living room.
Elaine sighed, exasperated.
"Come on, let's go to my room, where we won't be interrupted!" Elaine said, her voice rising on the last part.
Many 'Sorry!'s were yelled back.
Elaine rolled her eyes, and helped Frank carry some books up the stairs.
Once they arrived, Frank dropped all the books on her bed, smiling.
"What?" Elaine asked, confused by his grin.
"So this is the great Elaine Winters' room?" He asked.
Elaine blinked. "Yes."
"It's just," Frank laughed. "I've wanted to come in ever since we were both around the age of eleven. But Ray always told me that if I went in to your room I would get eaten by a monster, or something along those lines."
Elaine rolled her eyes, "Such a nice step-brother I have. Now, let's get to work."
"Wait, wait, wait! I have to remember this."
It was silent for a moment.
"Remember what?" Elaine asked, slightly agitated.
"Your room," Frank said, as if it was no big thing.
Silence.
"Why?"
Frank rolled his eyes, "Because I've wanted to come in here for six years!"
"You've been in here before haven't you? Remember when I had to take you into the bathroom and get you a band-aid?"
Frank was quite for a moment, trying to remember.
"Oh yeah! Because Ray was trying to teach me how to skate board! And I fell off, and scraped my knee!"
"You were crying so hard. Ray thought it was the funniest thing in the world," Elaine said rolling her eyes.
"Are you done remembering my room now?" Elaine asked.
"Yup."
"Okay then, let's get to work."
As they were working Elaine remember Frank's skateboarding accident better.
Elaine was laying on her stomach, reading a book and listening to music on her bed.
She was interrupted by a very loud yell.
She quickly ran outside where her step-brother, Gerard, Mikey, Bob, and Frank were.
The view would have been very odd to most people, but not to Elaine.
Frank was on the ground crying, a skate board next to him, and the older boys were all leaning on each other, trying not to fall down from laughing so hard.
She sighed, going over to help Frank up.
"Come on, Frankie," Elaine said, supporting the pansy-ish eleven year old boy up.
"Elly, it hurts," Frank groaned, tears falling down his face.
"Oh come on Frank, don't be such a pansy," Ray said.
"Guys! Just because you are all older than him by two years doesn't give you the right to make him your genie pig for your stunts," Elaine said, glaring at the older boys.

"Chillax, goody-two-shoes, he just scraped his knee." Ray said, rolling his eyes.
Elaine huffed, and dragged Frank into her bathroom, that was connected with her room.
She helped him up onto the counter, and then got out some alcohol to disinfect the scrape.
"This is going to hurt a little, Frankie," Elaine said before applying the alcohol to a rag.
Frank gripped the counter, closing his eyes, as she rubbed the alcohol on his knee.
"Okay, that's done. What color band-aid?"
Frank opened one eye and looked down at his knee.
It was no longer dirty from the mud outside, instead it was slightly bloody.
Frank sighed in relief, and opened both, grinning at Elaine.
"I want a pink band-aid, Elly!" He said, cheerfully.
Elaine smiled, and opened a pink band-aid, and carefully placed the band-aid on Frank's knee.
"All done," Elaine sighed, smiling.
Frank jumped off the counter, and pulled Elaine into a hug.
"Thank you so much Elaine!" He said, giving her a big kiss on the cheek before taking off to the backyard.
Elaine smiled slightly, and wiped Frank's slobber of her cheek, shaking her head as she went off to her room.
"You're welcome Frankie..." She muttered.

"Elly! I need help with number seventeen!" Frank whined, utterly confused.
"Okay, Frankie, you have to-"
"Aw! You called me Frankie! You haven't called me that in ages," Frank said, grinning.
Elaine smiled gently, "That memory reminded me how well we use to get along."
Frank cocked his head to the side, "Why did we start being mean to each other, anyways?"
Elaine sighed, bringing her knees to her chest, "You become girl obsessed, and stopped hanging out with me."
Frank was silent for a moment, "I'm sorry, Elly."
Elaine shook her head, "It's alright. It's not like it wasn't expected, you are a guy after all. It had to happen some time. Better sooner than later, right?"
Frank nodded, "Yeah, but still. I'm sorry."
Elaine smiled, "Don't be."
Frank checked his watch, "I should be getting home now."
Elaine nodded standing up, helping him with his books.
She handed him one of the books, and was surprised when he returned a kiss on the cheek.
He smiled, "That was for making me remember good times."
Elaine blushed, "Er, you're welcome."
Frank nodded and left the room, dragging all his books.
Elaine yawned and collapsed on her bed.
Frank poked his head back into the room, "Hey, Elly?"
"Yeah?"
Rest In Results.
Rest In Results.
Frank grinned, "I missed talking to you."
Elaine blushed lightly, "Same."
