During the next few weeks Damian came to visit Melodine and Chrisy more often. He seemed to have become infatuated with Chrisy's mother. Sometimes he'd come over to eat lunch, take them out, or just relax.
Everytime this would happen Melodine would insist that Damian leave Chrisy to herself and let her stay at home in her room while they went out by themselves, saying she'd hire a babysitter if need be.Sometimes Damian would agree, however, most of the time he'd want Chrisy to come along, his argument being he wanted to get to know both of them better, Melodine didn't argue with this, she just wanted him to enjoy himself. Anyway, she had a way to relieve her stress and anger; Chrisy knew how, while Damian appeared to be oblivious.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chrisy is around the age of seven and her mother's name is Melodine, Melodine Matthews. Melodine looks to be but a child herself, she is in fact twenty-two though, this meaning she had Chrisy at a very young age, fifteen to be exact.
Chrisy's father was Melodine's first love, she believed he would be with her forever no matter what happened.
The night she told him was a night she'll never forget, no matter how many times she's tried, she always fails when she looks at Chrisy's face. She looks so much like her father.
She wore a simple long white dress, a redish purple sash that went around her waist and tied in the back in a long loose bow that hung down. She also had a necklace with a silver chain and a small opal stone hanging from it, earrings that matched as well.
By the way that this girl was dressed, it was fairly easy to tell she was rather wealthy. Also, seeing as she also ran out of a beautiful mansion-like house, the assumption was clearly correct, something you'd never see anyone in the town wearing, unless wealthy themselves, she refered to the people without enough money to pay for these clothes as 'common folk', she herself was never to be addressed as such.
Her dress was beautiful and elegant, and at the same time it was rather simple.
It was night time and the lovely young lady was running to a house down the road from her own.
The moon was full and the stars twinkled brightly in the sky with very few artificial lights blocking the view.
Yes! she thought as she ran, It's a full moon, that's supposed to mean goodluck! But I won't need it. He'll be happy, and we'll leave this place together. He'll love the news, and he'll love me. I know he will...he promised...
She then stopped and looked down at her left hand, to see the simple, yet elegant, gold ring on her middle finger.
My promise ring, she thought, Our promise. Also, that night, she rubbed her belly gently, lovingly, Our child was conceived, she looked down upon it, I'll walk the rest of the way, for the child's sake.
The girl hummed happily as she walked to her boyfriend's house.
