"Wakey wakey Rayne!" I shouted happily.
Rayne groaned.
"Come on! You have your contest today! I hope your ready!" I said.
Rayne grumbled and got out of bed.
I smiled brightly. "Now you three," I started turning towards the three boys.
Gray, Steven and Lance all stared tiredly at me.
"WAKE UP!" I screamed jumping on Steven's lap.
Lance and Gary immediately glared at Steven and clenched their hands into fists.
"Don't be jealous you two, Steven's the most awake out of guys," I smirked.
Gary turned and went to find Ash.
I bounced off Steven's lap and went to find someone else to bug-Drew.
"Drew!" I whined.
He looked up slightly annoyed.
I sighed and pranced away. "Nevermind!"
The boys all stared at me and all asked the same question in their minds: This is the leader of the pokemon world????.
"Well, are we going to head down to the contest hall or not?" I asked placing my hands on my hips.
May, Rayne and Drew nodded quickly and ran out the door to prepare.
"Well! Everyone else, lets stop somewhere to get a slushie and head off!" I shouted.
"Cherry, a slushie?" Steven whispered in my ear.
I smiled proudly. "I'm in the mood for something ice cold."
Ash and Max quickly exchanged glances.
Everyone rolled their eyes and followed me to the nearest slushie stand. (me: lol dont ask. im in the mood for one. :) back to the story:)
A high pitched scream echoed the walls of the stadium.
"Its Cherry Collins!" a girl shouted.
Steven sighed. "And here we go again," he mumbled wrapping his arm around my waist and pushing me in front of him.
I giggled and waved to my fans.
Gary winked at one girl and she fainted. I choked down my laughter and followed Lance to our seats, which were up front.
"Welcome to the Slateport Pokemon Contest! I'm Mary and we are about to kick off this exciting contest! Before we start, I'd like to give a welcoming applause to some very special people in the audience with us today!" Mary shouted into the microphone.
"Oh no," I whispered knowing exactly what she will say next.
"Please welcome Miss Cherry Collins and the three champions!" Mary yelled.
I forced a smile a stood up and waved then I quickly sat back down.
"Geez Cher, you really know how to steal the show," Lance muttered.
I half-smiled. "Its not like I asked for it."
Lance smiled and patted my head, making Steven scoot a little closer to me. Of course, I didn't notice this.
"Well everyone, heres our first coordinator, Rayne from Cerulean City in Kanto!"
I watched Rayne enter the stage. She was smiling and she seemed almost care-free. She tossed one of her pokeballs into the air and out came Aurora, her Dewgong.
She commanded her Dewgong to use whirlpool then ice beam. This froze the water in a cone shaped form. then, Aurora used mist which made the cone sparkle. Overall, she got a 27.
