BRIIIINNG!! Damn.. stupid alarm clock. Time for another day of school.. boring boring school. Boring boring routine. I washed up, got dressed, ate breakfast and left. When I got there, Hannah was leaning on my locker.

"Hey Patrick!!"
"Uhh.. hi.. Do you need anything?"
"Well, I was wondering if you want to hang out with me after school?"

Damn.. She probably wants pull some stupid prank on me.. Hannah and I used to be friends.. But some stupid shit happened and now, we mostly ignore each other

*Flashback 2 years ago*

"Patrick, don't worry I'll be back before you know it!"
"Why do you have to go to summer camp?!" "
"Gee Patrick, don't worry it's only for 1 month!"

Hannah and I were best friends since kindergarten but now she had to leave for Summer camp.. That really sucks. What am I gonna do for one whole month?! Sure I have friends, but Hannah is my best friend..

"Patrick, stop looking like you killed a puppy and have a good time while I'm gone!"

She boarded the bus and left..

1 month later

"Hannah! You're back!!"

She changed... alot... For starters, she decided to bleach her hair, her complexion was cleared, and her fashion sense changed drastically.. From jeans, to old T- shirts to mini skirts with tight, pink shirts..

"Patrick!! Didja miss me?"
"Yeah.. alot. You changed!"
"I did? I don't notice anything."
"Well I do.. C'mon! I'll introduce you to Pete, Andy, and Joe"

After a pleasant chat with all of them we decided to go to the mall and do some catching up. We had fun. I really enjoyed it. But afterwards she started to hang out with people I barely knew, ignored me, and altogether refused to aknowledge me. Ouch..

*Present*

"Sorry, but I'm busy." I said as politely as possible.
"we never hang out anymore you know that?"

Well maybe if you took some to hang out with me instead of all your new preppy/ jock friends we'd still be best friends...

"Yeah.. well, I have to get to class. Later Hannah"
"Okay.. bye Patrick"

When I got to class, there was a new student. Woah.. talk about beautiful. Bright green eyes, long, flowing brown hair.. She was almost perfect..

"Class, this is Eva Stone, she will be attending this school from now on.. There were some past incidents in her life so she doesn't really speak.. Eva, why don't you go sit next to Patrick?" Our math teacher, Mr. Brown pointed to me.

She nodded and shuffled to her seat. It took my alot of courage but I handed her a not that said

Hey Eva, I'm Patrick. Maybe we can hang out and be friends. What do you think?

She smiled this cute smile that made me blush and quickly wrote down something.

Nice to meet you Patrick. Sure I'd love to get to know you.

That continued all through Math class. It turned out she and I had LOTS of things in common. She also had every class with me. Yay! Earlier, Mr. Brown said she doesn't speak much. She doesn't speak at all. Something must've happened to her.. I wanted to know what happened and I wanted to be the one to make her speak. To hear her voice..

*Fast Forward lunch time*

"Guys this is Eva, she's new. Eva this is Pete, Joe, and Andy."
"Hey" they said in unision. Talk about a warm welcome. Eva looked sort of uncomfortable, I invited her to sit next to me.
"So Eva," Pete asked "What do you like to do in your free time?"
She looked down, and looked and me.
"Uh.. Pete, Eva doesn't realy like talking, but she's really nice. We passed notes all through 1st- 5th period.. "
"Oh..I see.. Well whatever it doesn't matter. I'm sure we're gonna get along just fine"
Hearing that Eva seemed to feel more accepted and comfortable. She flashed her amazing smile at Pete and nodded.

Yeah.. High School might not be as bad as I thought..
