**Brooke's POV**
"Joe," I said shaking him gently.
"Hmm?" He asked not opening his eyes.
"Joe, let's go home."
That sure woke him up.
"What? Brooke, are you sure? I mean if this is about my life, then you don't have to worry. You are way more important."
"It's not." I said. "It's about me being tired of running away from my problems. It's the only defense I have and I'm sick of it."
Joe sat up and wrapped his arms around me. I loved those Jonas boy's hugs. I felt safe in all of their arms.
"I love you Joey, thanks." I said kissing his cheek.
"Eww!" Joe joked rubbing the spot where I just kissed him.
I rolled my eyes and started to shove things back into our suitcases.
"Ready to finish up your tour Mr. Rockstar?" I asked.
Joe nodded excitedly.
"I love it! It is the best high in the entire world."
"I'm sure it is." I said smiling.
"Come on let's go home." I said once I finished packing.
Joe nodded and grabbed one of the suitcases with his left hand. With his right he grabbed my left hand and laced our fingers together.
"Love you too Brooke," He said as we left my dorm.
**Kevin's POV**
"Kevin get up!" Frankie yelled pounding on the door.
"No, five minutes!" I said throwing the pillow over my head.
"No, now! My says,"
"Fine!" I yelled getting up. I opened the door and Frankie stood their with his arms folded across his chest.
"Happy!?" I asked.
"Very," he said and ran away.
I shut the door again to get changed and then headed to the bathroom.
When I came out I ran my hands through my damp hair.
"Hey," Nick said walking towards me. "Joe and Brooke are coming back."
"Seriously? Brooke usually runs away for around a week." I said shocked.
"I know, but Joe must have done something and she decided to come home."
"Oh," i said. "Joe,"
"Kevin relax, Joe has no feelings for Brooke at all. Aside from the brotherly ones, and of course the friendship ones."
I nodded and sighed. "Thank goodness. That would suck to lose the love of my life to my brother."
Nick laughed. "But, it's not going to happen. So I suggest you spend the few hours you have finding a way to talk to Brooke when she gets back."
"Wouldn't it just be best to leave her alone for awhile?" I asked.
"No, stop pulling a Brooke and running away from your problems. Gosh you two are too much alike."
I laughed and messed up Nick's hair.
"Hey!" he said trying to fix it.
"Hey!" I said back.
"That was lame," He said
"I know. I'm just too busy thinking about Brooke to think at all."
Nick nodded. "Well if you need help you know where to find me."
**Brooke's POV**
I sat in the passenger seat of my car praying Joe didn't kill me.
"Why couldn't I drive?" I asked.
"Because you owe me." Joe said taking a sharp turn causing me to bash into the door.
"OW!" I yelled.
"Whoops," Joe said going well over the speed limit.
"I'm going to die." I said pulling my knees to my chest and wrapping my arms around them.
"You are so dramatic." Joe said turning towards me and sticking out his tongue.
"JOE WATCH THE ROAD!" I screamed as he swerved into the oncoming traffic.
I heard the loud sound of horns blaring and I closed my eyes praying there wouldn't be an impact.
"Whoa, that was awesome!" Joe said a few moments later.
"Awesome? Joseph, you could have killed us both."
"But I didn't. And how cool was that?"
"Joe, pull the car over. I'm driving. I do not want to die at the young age of 20."
"I'm younger than you!" Joe said sighing as he pulled the car to the side of the road.
"Thank God," I said fastening the driver's seatbelt.
Joe sulked the rest of the way home, but I didn't care. I didn't want to get into an accident.
**Nick's POV**
"Kevin, they're back!" I yelled looking out the window.
"Um...Nick do you still have the tune to "Don't Tell Anyone"?" Kevin asked.
"Uh...yeah. I think it's in the third drawer of my desk. You know the one where we keep all the songs and stuff?"
"Yeah, thanks." Kevin said turning around.
"Wait? Why do you need it?" I yelled after him.
"You'll see." He said slamming my door shut.
I sighed and headed outside.
"Hey!" I called to Brooke as she got out of the car.
Joe came out sulking and nodded in my direction.
"What's up with him?" I asked grabbing one of the suitcases for Brooke.
"He almost killed us, so I wouldn't let him drive anymore." Brooke said.
I laughed and saw Joe glare at me.
"Hey, it's funny." I said.
"Where's Kevin?" Joe asked.
"Inside, he's doing something. I don't know what. He wanted the tune to "Don't Tell Anyone". Don't ask me why."
Joe stared blankly into the distance for a minute and then a huge smile flashed across his face.
"I KNOW WHY!" He yelled running across the street and disappearing into the house.
"So," Brooke said slamming the car doors shut.
"Want to hang out? I'm free."
"And I cancelled tonight's concert. So, that makes me free too." I said grabbing the other suitcase from Brooke and carrying them inside.
"How's Kevin?" Brooke asked when we got to her room.
"He's alright. He has been having his ups and downs." I said falling onto her bed.
"Oh," she said sitting beside me.
I grabbed her hand closest to mine and looked up at her.
"Brooke, it'll all work out. I promise. Kevin loves you too. He just has a hard time showing it."
"But I can't wait for him forever Nick." Brooke began. "I love him, but I need someone who is willing to love me back and not be afraid to show it."
"It just has to be hard for him B," I said rubbing my thumb over her hand. "I mean you guys have been friends since the day we moved across the street. And if things don't work out between you two, then what is going to happen to that friendship?" I questioned. "It's hard being friends with someone you once had a relationship with. And then what happens to you and me and you and Joe? We could never hang out anymore either because it'd be too awkward."
Brooke sighed and laid down next to me.
"Let's stop talking about this before I want to go back to UCLA again. Let's watch a movie."
"Okay," I said sitting back up. "How about we watch...School of Rock?"
"Alright. That is my favorite movie!" Brooke said jumping off of her bed and running downstairs.
"I don't see why," I said when she came back up. "You aren't cool enough for it to be your favorite movie."
Brooke stuck her tongue out at me and put the disc into the dvd player.
"Don't start it." She said standing back up. "I'm grabbing Diet Dr. Pepper and making popcorn and we are binging on Chips Ahoy! chocolate chip cookies!"
I laughed as she ran out of the room and back downstairs.
Seeing Brooke like this made me know everything would be alright. At least I hoped everything would. I prayed that Joe was helping Kevin, and I prayed nothing bad would happen between them again. I guess though, only time will tell.
