My parents desserted me, my friends don't give a fuck, and my well boyfriend cheated on me, not that I care he wasn't much of a boyfriend anyways

Just another day at work, empty and alone
"Nicole!"
I'm going to shoot her one of these fucking days
"yes Danielle?"
"pick up all this mess, we have some very important people coming to this place today and I want it SPOTLESS GOT IT?"
"yes.."
I've had it with her, all she ever does and scream at me and tell me how worthless I am.
Two hours of cleaning went by quickly and I wonder who was so IMPORTANT that I had to clean up.
Why did I start working here?
Because you love writing and photography and AP is a very well known magazine
I was more of a clean up person than a photographer.
"excuse me?"
"yes?"I sighed wiping some sweat from my forehead
"can you tell me where room A-20?"
"sure"I breathed
"you ok?"
"yes" I looked up and saw a very familiar face.
"Ben" he stuck his hand out
"Oh, I know from Armor For Sleep"I smiled
"yup"
"Nicole"
"nice meeting you"
"oh, the room you're looking for is right over here"
"thank you"
"yup"

The moment I met Ben, my life changed completely. We became friends, then closer friends, and I no longer felt so alone...
Until he had to go on tour once more, I felt completely alone, I ignored his phone calls and messages.

I laid in bed thinking about Ben, that's all I could think about.
There was a knock on my door, but I knew who it was so I didn't bother answering it.
"Nicole! please open the door I want to talk" he shouted
I hugged my pillow tight, I couldn't stop crying, I didn't want him to leave me.
I'd feel so alone all over again, just when things were looking up, he decides to leave
"why do you have to leave me so soon" I whispered to myself
"I don't want to"
I looked up and saw Ben in front of my bed looking down at me.
"how did you get in?"
"spare key remember?"
I sighed and sat up, wiping my tears away with my hands.
Ben sat next to me and placed his hand on my knee.
"I don't want to leave you Nicole I care about you, you know that"
"how do I know you're coming back? You'll end up leaving me like my own family" I cried
"NO, I'M NOT,I'M NOT LIKE THEM!" he shouted
I laid back on my bed, my back facing him.
How can he make me feel like this
"Nicole" he said laying down next to me
"what?" I sniffled
Ben wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to his chest.
"you know I care about you"
"do you?"
"yes very much" he whispered in my ear
"since?"
"the day we met"
I sat up and looked at him.
"yeah?"
"yes, and I love you"
I blinked a couple of times, did he just say he loved me?
"you do?" I said almost in tears again
"yes, I do, it's why I wanted to tell you or ask you if oyu wanted to come with me?"
"where?"
"tour" he chuckled
"are you serious?"
"very"
I jumped on top of him excitedly and smiled
"so is that a yes?"
"yup!" I laughed
I looked down at him, Ben had the most beautiful brown eyes I've ever seen.
I could feel my heart racing, as Ben leaned down to kiss me
So this is what love feels like? Finally I don't feel so alone, for once...
I sighed and hugged him tightly not wanting to let go.
