Rooftop Romance (Javey one-shot) ~AFI yaoi~

"Go to sleep...go to sleep..GO TO SLEEP!" Jade mentally yelled at himself while squeezing his eyes shut. For the past two hours Jade was trying to sleep, but he couldn't. He couldn't stop thinking about that one person. He couldn't stop thinking about how gorgeous that person looked everyday. Their beautiful choclate brown eyes, their soft black-brown hair, their perfectly shaped lips. He couldn't stop think about him; He couldn't stop thinking about Davey.
"No dammit! Stop!" He yelled at himself for thinking about his best friend that way. He sighed, finally deciding to give up on trying to sleep. He put his arms behind his head and stared at the ceiling. He could tell he wouldn't get any sleep tonight, he had too much on his mind, and it was mostly him. Moments passed and he continued to lay on his bed staring at the ceiling. After awhile, he started noticing how heavy his eyes were getting. "'Bout time..." he yawned out. He snuggled into the warmth of his blanket and lay his head on his soft feathery pillow. He then slowly drifted off to sleep into his own little dreamworld...well almost...
"BANG!" Jade shot up from bed, while his eyes darted from corner to corner in his room, "What the hell?!" he thought, as his eyes searched for the sound. He then heard light footsteps...coming from the roof? He stared at the ceiling in wonder, then let out a low growl and pulled off the covers. "Damn racoons." he grumbled as he put his bare feet on the soft plush carpet. He quickly threw on a pair of pants and a shirt and put on some socks. "I'll show those little fuckers." he snarled as he snatched up a nearby broom. He slid open the sliding glass door that was connected to his hotel room, and walked out into the night air. he looked around for anything small, gray, furry, and had a ring-striped tail, so far, he saw nothing. "Soooo...What'cha plannin' on doing with that broom?" he heard a somewhat far away voice ask. Confused, Jade looked around, "Over here." the familiar voice laughed and called out again. Jade quickly spun around and looked up at the roof. He sighed a sigh of relief. "Davey, what the hell are you doing up there?" he asked throwing the broom down and walked closer to his secret admirer-er-"best friend". Davey shrugged, "Eh...I couldn't sleep." Jade carefully stepped onto the balcony's railing and grabbed the edges of the roof. He then hoisted himself up and placed his knees on the roof. He crawled over to Davey and laid beside him. For a long while they laid in silence. "So, what the hell are YOU doing out here?" Davey smirked mocking Jade. Jade continued staring at the huge white moon above him, "I couldn't sleep either, plus, I heard NOISES OUT HERE!" Jade said playfully glaring at the beautiful man beside him. Davey let out a short laugh, "Sorry Jadey." Davey apologized, looking like a litle boy who just got caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar. "It's okay." Jade said, smiling at the cute nickname Davey gave him. A few minutes passed without exchanging of words. "Hey Davey?" Jade said quietly looking over at his best friend. "Davey's eyes were closed, but Jade could tell he wasn't asleep, "Hmm?" he answered opening his eyes slightly. "Can-can I tell you something?" Davey opened his eyes now at full attention, and turned over so he was facing Jade, "Sure, anything Jadey." Jade gulped and sighed, "Th-there's someone I really like." Davey looked away, "Oh..." He said a bit too coldly, he didn't mean to sound so mean, You see...Davey, ironically, was in love with Jade.
Davey thought he was perfect. Jade was funny, nice, smart, and very cute in his opinion. He loved the way Jade's eyes sparkled when he was happy and full of life, and how he was always in a good mood no matter what. He also loved his long legs, perfectly shaped and toned body, and the light colored freckles that lined his cheeks and chest, so, Davey was a bit disapointed when he heard about Jade's new crush.
"Davey, are you listening?" he heard Jade ask. Davey snapped out of his thoughts, "Huh? Oh yeah..." Davey blushed from embarassment, then quickly changed the subject, "So um...who is this lucky girl?" Davey asked putting on a fake smile. Jade looked away hiding his reddening cheeks, "Um Dave? It's not a girl...it's-it's a guy..." "Oh great." Davey thought, "It's even worse, it's a guy!" Davey sighed, "So what's he like?" Davey quickly changed his mood and asked aloud. "Well..." Jade started, "He's a really great guy!" Jade said suddenly happy, "He's funny and cute and one of the most gorgeous guys I've ever seen!" Jade smiled dreamily, Davey frowned, and sad-heartedly, continued to listen, "He has beautiful black-brown hair, gorgeous brown eyes, and these really kissable looking lips. "Jade grinned and looked at Davey, "Oh." was all Davey could say. He could feel tears form in his eyes but he quickly blinked them away. "There's one more thing about this guy you should know." Jade sighed, letting out a breath of air and slowly started moving closer to Davey. "What?" Davey said trying to sound happy, but was failing, he closed his eyes sadley... He didn't notice how close Jade was to him now. All of a sudden Davey felt something hovering over him, he blinked open his eyes and let out a small gasp...Jade was on top of him. Jade's hands were on either side of his shoulders, and his face only inches away from his own. Davey's eyes went wide with surprise. Jade placed his hand on Davey's cheek, "Dave." Jade said quietly, his breath tickling Davey's face, "Dave." Jade repeated, "That guy...is-is you." Jade said, his face getting closer and closer to the beautiful man's face below him. Davey sill confused was taken by even more surprise with Jade's lips crashing onto his. Davey, a bit taken a-back, kissed Jade back. Davey snapped out of his confusion as the kiss got more and more passionate, he wrapped his arms around Jade's neck and kissed back more intensly. Jade, trying to get more comfy, straddled Davey's waist with his long legs. Davey opened his mouth just enough for Jade to slip his tongue in. Their tongue's danced in each other's and they were both moaning lightly into the kiss.
A few minutes later the kiss and they both slowly parted. They both breathed heavily and stared into each other's eyes. After awhile Jade slowly got off of Davey, never breaking their eye contact. Jade lay on his back and began to space-out, the kiss running over and over again in his head. "Did that really just happen?" Jade thought, he then felt a small pressure on his chest, he looked down to see Davey's head resting on him. Jade smiled while he gently petted Davey's soft, dark hair. They laid in silence and stared at the starry night sky, "Hey jade?" Davey asked breaking the silence between them, "Yeah Dave?" Jade answered, "Everything you said about that guy-er-me..." Davey quickly corrected himself, "Did-did you really mean all of it?" Jade stopped playing with Davey's hair and lifted his chin so he was facing him. Jade smiled, "Yes..." he said still smiling, "Evey word." Jade added placing a kiss on Davey's head. Davey grinned ear to ear, "Hey Jade?" Davey asked again, Jade looked at him, "Hmm?" Davey's cheeks reddened with shyness, "Will-will you be my boyfriend?" Davey asked shyly, biting his lip and looked away. Jade gently cupped Davey's chin and looked into his eyes. He lightly kissed Davey on the lips, "Yes." he smiled, "Of course I will." Davey's eyes sparkled with pure joy as he moved closer to Jade's face. Jade and Davey kissed again under the milky twilight sky. They kissed and didn't care if anyone was watching. All that mattered to them was that they were in each other's arms, and they loved each other, and nothing would ever change that...
