"all kids report to the autitorium for an assembly immediately" I heard Me.Jarrison announce over the intercom. I got up from my seat in science and headed to where we were supposed to be. Of course, the first assembly of the year. Mr. Jarrison alwyas makes such a big deal of it. Its obviously so important to tell the kids to keep your grades up and have a good year. Because of course everyones going to listen to him and take his advice, not to alot of sarcasm.
I looked around the autitorium to find Amber and Chloe. They were in the way back next to the door leading outside so it'd be easier to leave once the assembly was over. I walked over to them and sat down on the right side of Amber and next to some kid I didn't really know.
"So. What do you think Mr.Jarrison thought of for the most important assembly of the year this time" Amber asked boredly. I laughed and looked up to Mr.Jarrison trying to untangle himself from the wires leading to the speakers and microphone.
"I dont know. Maybe like lasts years amazing 'dont use drugs or make your whole like about the opposit sex' speach" I laughed. Mr.Jarrison reminded me of the P.e. teacher from mean girls, 'dont have sex, if you do, you will get pregnant, and die' haha. Hes always trying to look cool but ends up ruining the whole assembly or just knocking something over making himself look like a complete ass.
"gooooodddd afternooonnn!" Mr.Jarrison shouted in the microphone. He reminded me of some game show host off some random tv show. "well here we are back for a new school year, did everyone have a good summer?" he asked. A few yes's and nodds or no's were heard around the huge room. I was already tired of this. I nudged Amber and looked at Chloe. Mr.Jarrison started talking again as Chloe slowly opened the door. Some kids were looking at us as if to say lucky you dont have to sit throught this, we just ignored them. As soon as Amber slipped through the door I followed.
"Now what would you girls like today"
We decided to go out for a soda and some pizza at Giordano's. It was basicaly the local hangout around campus, everyone went there.
We ordered a small cheese pizza and three cokes, then the waitress left. Not alot of people were there at the moment but some were starting to come, meaning the amazing assembly must be over.
"so are you guys going to the party?" Chloe asked us. Every year Derek Winters throws a homecoming party. Alcahol and drugs deffinetaly arent my thing but I go anyways, everyone goes.
"yeah. oh god, I need to find something to wear" Amber said looking at the outfit she was wearing. Lets just say, she thinks hes hot. I mean come on, everyone does. I really think I'm the only one that does NOT think hes hot at all. Hes good looking, I'll give him that, but deffinetaly not hot. Hes just got a charm that most guys here dont have.
"oh dont worry, you'll look good. You ALWAYS look good" I told her. Right as I did I looked over to the door just to see..
"here comes trouble" Is all I said. Sara Parker, Crystal Hamper and Vivi Madison just walked in wearing the shortest skirts you could possibly think of. They looked over at our table and smirked. Sara started walking over and right as she did I got up.
"Hey Cailey" She said with a discusting fake smile spread across her face.
"what do you want Sara?" I said, not really asked her.
"uhm your probly going to party arent you.." she started. I nodded and sneered at her.
"well let me just give you a heads up." she said. "stay away from Derek Winters. Hes mine" she said looking at me, and then at Chloe and Amber.
"And why on earth would you ever think I would want him anyways" I said. She raised an eyebrow and smirked.
"oh well, I guess you havn't heard then." She said. "well it doesent matter anyways. Just STAY AWAY from him" She said. And walked away.
I sat back down in my chair and looked at Amber then at Chloe.
"What on earth is she talking about" I said. Chloe tried to hide a smile and looked back down to her drink. Amber turned away and shrugged.
"I wouldnt know"
